Ive gone through a few phases with drugs, and decided that it's annoying and makes the game less interesting.  But, once I see someone on the other side using a health kit or using double power/armor, etc,  that means that the match is a drug match and I'll drug to the end of it.

Just had a perfectly fine Polygon CP wrecked by a single drugger.

 

Now, because of our resident mod, I can't say his name, but I can tell you that he's annoying to play with. Preemie/M2 Dictator/M2 Twins, at 1st Lieutenant. And as if that alone didn't scream "I spend money on this game to get an advantage over everyone else!!", he was drugging incessantly.

 

If you've never tried to kill an M2 Dictator with a Firebird, it's pretty hard. If you've never tried to kill an M2 Dictator with DA, it's extremely hard -- it takes your entire energy pool and some afterburn to finish the job. But if you've never tried to kill an M2 Dictator with a DARK combo, then let me know where you find your battles because it's flipping impossible. Drugs are freaking overpowered, and the only reason why Tanki hasn't nerfed them yet is because of players like this, who bring in big bucks.

 

Oh and Tanki, I hope you're happy with your V-LOG telling everyone to do so. Tanki's logo shouldn't be a tank, it should be a picture of Benjamin Franklin, flipping all of us free-to-players off... -.-

What's a DARK combo?

So when someone is using a DARK combo, it means they have a Double Armor activated and they use a Repair Kit.

You know, I think I actually finally know how I got warned about being banned, after seeing this post. This may be a long post, so prepare yourselves...

 

The last guy I ranted about actually reported me for insults, but failed. But I'm not the first person he's reported, it turns out. I noticed through his profile that he's reported a bunch other people for insults which were probably hurled in-game. And yes, all of them have been banned, including a good player I tend see around in the game. Whoever this child is, it looks like he deliberately drugs to anger other players and provoke them into insulting him, and that's how others get banned. 

 

That day when he drugged against my team and humiliated us and made us leave, he tried the same thing against me, but I knew that my (and my teammates') anger was what he wanted to see, so I kept my cool at least till I came to the forum and talked calmly with him, and he never had his chance to report me.

 

Another thing to note - I played 4 games with him around, 2 of which were at Skyscrapers, where he switched to the enemy team in the first Skyscrapers match just to provoke my anger again, like in the previous games. Not only did he fail at that, but I and my friend worked together to win both games against him. He even tried the same trick on my friend, who luckily was cool enough on chat.

 

Finally, I realised that people like him actually come to this forum topic to see if they're being talked about, and that's how he ended up reporting me. I don't think he's ever talked on this post, but I recall the way he humiliated me verbally me during the game, and it was like he was watching this thread. He liked the apology post I made after I got the ban warning (page 214), and I'm not sure if I should take that as an insult.

 

If he's seeing this post, here's my message to him: I never intended to apologise to you mate. That apology was strictly directed to members of this forum topic out of respect for them and for the rules, and not to someone who goes about provoking others to insult him so he can report them. What you're doing is wrong, and you better stop doing this because what goes around comes around.

 

Laugh all you like, but I've seen what happened to people who picked on me at a time when I couldn't stand up for myself, and I never wished that they suffer (which is wrong in my belief), but they still ended up in a bad situation in the end (funny how that stuff would happen though). 

 

Practice some humility, because that feels better than trying to get people into trouble for no reason.

The RULE, SEE THAT MOD, I'm quoting YOU NOW, and YOUR SUBSET, so don't pull a rabbit out of your . . . well . . . I'll say hat, and come back with some loose interpretation of insult or something equally subjective and ultimately weak in argument, and COMPLETELY without merit except for some fell good bull "stuff" that everybody knows is simply censure on you, and Tanki's, part, but I digress, what I was quoting, right:

Well, the point here is, you have no skill, period. maybe not a novice, but you can't play worth a darn except in a hornet/rail config, and even then, that's a drug world in non-XP battles, otherwise people like me eat you for lunch.

 

Fact of the matter is, even if you kit up and drug, you will never know what it means to win a game in Tanki, you will never understand or enjoy the satisfaction of making it back to base with a sliver of health and 5 kills behind you and a flag stuck on top of your tank.  You will never know how it feels to actually end a round and look at your score and know "yeah, I did that".

 

You suck, maybe a little less than others, but you still suck, and that's just life, pee wee, so kit up, drug up, and go play your stupid 2, 3, 4 battles and know that if I ever find you in a fight, I'll do all I can to make it a point of making an example out of you because you're nothing but a prissy little whiner that rail snipes behind walls with DA and DD on, and even THEN, you're pathetic in stats, all that game play and you have a

 

K/D = 1.03

 

Your "negative pessurage" is truly impressive, and while we do get mad here about fools like you, it's about life and how stupid the masses are, you counted among them to be certain, but we really couldn't care less about you, and we couldn't care if you got hit by a care tomorrow, all we care about is the game and it being worth played.  You are ancillary, yet another hollow prop for us to present an argument with, and will always be nothing but that, a tool . . . , for us to use in conversation about the issue of drugging.  So don't get excited, you can press a button on someone's temper once in a while, but no one is going to bed with you as the last thing on their mind.

 

Don't have a nice day, hope bad things happen to you, but I don't wish them on you, because that would require effort, and as always, that is the one thing you, and your ilk, are not worthy any of.

BTW, go easy on Benji, HE WAS a great guy, he's why we have libraries full of free books.  Why the world does in fact.  He invented the public library, and he didn't coax you in to read children books for free and then forced you to pay to read anything else worth reading.

Yes I use drugs, but I don't mash the 1 button when I get hurt, and I don't mash the 3 button when I spawn etc. Yet, I don't go complaining about druggers that much. With a bit of thinking, you'll see that they're the ones losing out. Take, for instance, a WO5 drugger. He has 200 drugs, and uses them a bunch. He soon becomes dependent on those drugs, and buys more. Because of his dependence on drugs, he is forced to spend 20k crystals for another 100 drugs to continue playing. Over time, he'll be forced to continue buying drugs, which will cause him to be severely UP because his crystals, which he should be using to get better equipment, will be spent on drugs.

 

     Now think of yourself. You're a WO5 and don't drug. Instead you save up your crystals and buy a kit, while also saving your drugs from missions. By Captain, you'll have 600 drugs, and an OP kit. You're still going against Mr. drugger who only has an M1 garage.

 

     My point is that, over time, the seemingly "OP" druggers will eventually become the ones unbalancing the game for a totally different reason. 

 

Of course, there'll always be buyers, but they're necessary to the game.

 

 

My point? Stop complaining. Things will be balanced out after a while, and the only true people who unbalance the game are the buyers (who keep the game running) and the helpers (who also keep the game running). Maybe you disagree, but I'd like to see what you think if you do.
