Dude, you cannot build a pc in just £400.

But wow, you are about a build a PC!! Looks like you are absolutely brilliant! Please send us pics once you finish building your PC! What are you gonna name it?!?! Whoah!

Suggestions from me:

-Create your own OS and become a billionaire.

-Create your own company! "Magica Laptops".

-Gimme one for free.

-Change your budget.

Best of luck in making your very own PC and don't forget about us when you get famous!

Have a look at the one I'm building. You can run tanki at 60 FPS full graphics. http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=273062

Umm... No. Building over here means getting the components like the processor, graphics card etc separately and then putting it together. Or perhaps this is an attempt to be funny?

Yup building a computer as @I.WalkAlone said it means buying the parts seperately (processors, gpu, ram) and then putting them together. This way you can make your own custom pc. Buying a pc is like buying a ready made cloth and building one is like buying the cloth materials seperately and stiching them together.

Tanki won't require a top spec graphics card to run at 60 FPS with full settings, as it isn't particularly intensive - being a browser game.

This is a really nice build, but I would avoid using AMD CPUs and GPUs in hot environments, they don't handle heat particularly well. AMD does have a reputation of bad drivers as well.

If you do live in a hot area, I'd recommend going with the i3 4160. It's got 2 cores, 4 threads (due to hyper threading) and is clocked at 3.6 GHz. It should cost around 110$.

If you're going for an NVidia GPU (better power and heat handling) go for the GTX 750Ti. If you're going with the AMD variant, go for the R9 380 or the R9 370. I think you can get the R9 370 with 4 gigs of VRAM though

The r9 380 is more expensive but the best alternative would be msi gtx 960. I am working on intel nvia build right now

edit: here http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KRptFT

I included a semi modular power supply this time so the price is close to £500
