It used to deal 1800 weak damage. Now it's only 1350, which is only +50%. The augment that has been barely touched is Vacuum Shell.

You probably got shot by a maxed out Scorpion using Camper or Crisis, and I'm not sure if booster would do that (think not unless you get a critical hit).

Ya, Congospider is right, armadillo used will cut those critical hit damage and you have a better chance of survival. As the rockets hit you let them

drain you till 1/4 hp left and then use a repair kit. I survived a tornado volley afew times with mammoth and 50% Vulture and 50% armadillo; and wasn't

using crisis or defender. Another thing is to avoid being targets by Scorpion or Shafts, if you position your tank properly with the map obstacles you can

reduce getting killed during the match.

 

Upclose Scorpion isn't that good, the reload is so long and if they enemy has protection it does matter bigtime.

I bought scorpion protection mk7 & stop using it shortly after. It only makes a difference if you're using heavy hulls or if you use crisis/defender.

With the new tornado augment, it is even more useless.

Remember, turret protection doesn't protect from critical damage. Scorpion's critical damage is 1500. With Crisis, that's 3900. Still not enough to one shot a 4000 HP Ares, right? But then Camper exists. With a maxed Camper, Scorpion Mk8 deals a whopping 4500 critical damage. That's enough to take you out, and then a little some.

there's nothing can tank against 16 shots from scorpion but since they came from a long range it gives you a few seconds so, you have to be aware when it came and take cover or otherwise you gonna die and might kill your teammate if they were close to you

Beautiful in paper, but this doesn't work! Look at it the video.

No matter you keep you eyes on game, these rockets will reach you and you will not see anything!

i know but it's the only way that we have to live against them

i hope they do something for it and pulsars augments ASAP because if they keep it like that the game will be unplayable even for P2W players

TheDetective999 discovered that by spinning 180 degrees and launching your rockets directly away from your target, they will have enough airtime to curve back toward them, even if they are at point blank range. This works best with Tornado, but does work to an extent with stock/10-rocket augments.

Big longtime problem on the forums. The way to get around it is to post it as text, then go back and edit it to an embed after posting it.

Yesterday I was playing a Siege game with a Scorpion Tornado Crisis player Siti127 (elite sniper) and we still won.

I was using trickster with my mammoth and even with 50% Armadillo and Scorpion Protection; 1 salvo.... goodbye dead.

So I changed to maxed out Defender drone and still barely able to live; but was a little better to survive. I have to thoroughly test

this out more cause when I got a salvo from siti127 there was other tanks shooting at me and it was confused; I might have took

salvo from another weaker scorpion on top of it.

 

Luckily maxed out Crisis Scorpions with tornado are sort of rare, but wow they are quite deadly, I might need crisis  in the long run to stay

competitive. 

 

Since there is 25% reload delay with Tornado, I find it very bad for close range survival. This Tornado augment is fun and good for juggernaut hunting

mainly. For Siege it is sort of limited, cause you can't fight well at close range and defend the control point. Hammer and Tesla are quite good for that I found.

It took only couple months to figure this simple logical strat... I figured it out on my 2nd DAY OF USING SCORPION. i mean just turn on your brain. It works with 4 ultra fast rocket augment too. Also there is another strat for scorpion that i won't talk about. You need to think to discover it too so i'll give yall another half a year till you figure that out.

It is insanely toxic it makes shaft insanely OP if enemies don't have prot.

Augments make 0 difference here. All the strats i call "strats" do not require you to own hard/tricky to obtain items. Just like scorpion's melee rocket strat for example

It works on PC. I don't know about mobile but i see no reason why it should not work. 

I will not tell anyone about this strat because its just wayyy too toxic if used correctly so i'll stop giving yall hints. 
(If someone figured out about it then for the love of lord keep it a secret it will not get nerfed it's obvious instead you'll get your prot slot removed because it will always be shaft prot )

It sounds like you're overselling it so now I'm curious. You say this strat existed since 2020? Was it discovered by you in early, mid or late 2020?
