please explain to me someone on .how this player got gold when his hull is lower ( wasp ) then mine. also he was no where close to the gold box drop marker. he was located out of it .. that hit was before or close to when he got the gold not during the drop.

idk, these hulls have really weird hitboxes

Wasp is higher than Hornet and as high as the Hunter hull. See height of hull versus height of the gold box:

 

 

Furthermore if you swing your hull you can get more high.

If you lag (being from canada) then by the time the data com to the server closer tanker with lower ping will get faster to the gold.

really this would not make much sense when there faster then a hornet... but he was not even in the drop zone area ..

Probably the same way that the Mammoth got the Gold Box instead of me, yesterday. Gold Box was coming down just at the top of a steep ramp. Mammoth was coming up the ramp, I got into the drop zone and was trying to tip his tank backwards with my Titan. He got the gold even though the tips of his tracks were up in the air outside the drop zone. No way he should have gotten it since I was sitting in the middle of the zone.

really this would not make much sense when there faster then a hornet... but he was not even in the drop zone area ..

That much of a lag, huh? He never got his tracks on solid ground. Well, I suppose if I was lagging one maybe 2  seconds, it may be possible. The tips of his tracks were coming forward and I pushed them out of the way, it didn't look like they were in the drop zone. The Gold Box wasn't visible in my camera, yet.

I give you what is usually the reason, you see it also  when the Striker's missile flying by your tank, but still get the damage.

Happens, in some way, with every turret really.

I edited my post to give an explanation of what I saw. I'm really not suggesting or accusing anyone of anything, since I don't know how much of a lag I'm getting...1 second? 2 seconds? I haven't a clue. I suppose it's possible that he got the box with the tip of his tracks before I pushed him out of the way, though the box wasn't in the sight of my camera yet. That had to be at the bare minimum a 1 second delay, maybe a bit more, because I struggled with the push. Oh, well, Que Sera Sera.

it gives u almost infinite health

to be more accurate it gives u around 95-98% protection from all turrets

You picked up a gold box that rewarded you with 1 minute of immortality. The gold shield is supposed to highlight which tank got the minute of immortality. You cannot share it with anyone. When you get that, play the objective as hard as you can because that is a game changer. I've seen so many Wasps take that gold and just play TDM while they could have capped two flags and secured a comeback victory from losing. 

 

I wonder what would happen if the Juggernaut was to get an immortality gold.

It gives you a minute of ‘immortality’- I believe the mechanics are the same as Godmode_ON’s protection module, since that’s approximately the amount of protection you get.

if you go to the timer are 5:10 it will explain more on how .. this was last years event but still most of the info is there ( some might have been changed for this years not sure on it )

As I remember, all that’s changed is that there isn’t the 5 minute sof supplies this year.

I can't find it. I would say that it may be obvious that it depicts the immortality since you would see the shield over the player that the message said got the gold. The person would be alive since they caught it and is then immortal. As obvious as it is, I agree it should still be explained.

I caught two immortality golds in this battle and I just started going wild. All of the light hulls were treating me like the Juggernaut and started aiming at me alone and I was just getting kills shot after shot. It was heaven. Too bad the battle finished quickly. :(
