AND... Red team has a much easier time getting to middle level - they can take ramps or just jump down.  Blue could not jump up.

Controlling middle level gave you RK and a much better control of the map.  If you have control of the map you are pretty much guaranteed the win.

yes but getting out of the blue base was harder, getting out of the red base wasnt as hard as from the blue base, controlling the center, in this game, wasnt of big importance, not just in Noise, every map, because side routes would be used by light tanks... its just the team with more co ordinated members that wins in the end. besides, Noise battles were always played, the map was very common, which proves it was playable for both sides, not just red.

But after this thing, Tesla, comes out, the number of Noise battles have dropped from filling more than half of the PRO battle list to almost none... I mentioned why in my previous post too. If the red team had been so one sided way back, then it would have not been played on much then right

Wrong 2x here.

1) Blue players rarely made it up to Red base because Red already controlled middle - which leads to 2)

2) Can't believe you don't understand how important controlling the middle of the map in Noise is.  Noise is nothing like almost any other map.  There are no "side routes".  Blue HAS to go through the middle to get to Red base.  If Red is already controlling middle, it is much, much harder for Blue to get up to the Red flag.

Before Magnum came along, easily 65% of the battles were won by Red. Maybe it's now 70% (or more) because of Magnum.  Does it really matter if Magnum shifted the unbalanced posts a little more?

Controlling the middle section plays a crucial role for the high elevation team cause it provides them with direct access to shoot right into LE teams base. And since the middle section holds the majority of the supply drop boxes of the map, HE team would easily hog all of them since they just need to jump down.

Also what side routes? There's only three routes, which is more often than not heavily protected by team HE. While HE has many different routes into LE teams base.

But how many of them were actually full? I bet not very many, amirite? Only a few would be willing to be on LE's team knowing that they'll be cannon fodder to team HE for the majority of the battle.

More than 70% of my Noise battles was in the blue team. Which obviously means that Blue mostly have a vacant place to enter, I mostly don't love to wait. So I join Blue.

The true buff to magnum should be equal to shaft...

I think they did that because in low ranks, mortar augment is pure toxic, because most of users have an tank with low life points

So they should balance equal shaft,

Reduce all the power in the mk1- mk6 ranks and keep the magnum mk7 + with mores buffs  before that 2 nerfs in lasts updates

I suggest to keep the actual nerf to magnum in low ranks, because most of them use mortar augment,that kill light hulls that have less than 1500 hp, and return the good magnum in high ranks (mk7+)

(Or just revert the last 2 nerfs of magnum buff magnum again and nerf mortar directly with 50% more recharge and remove  his splash damage)

And do not "revert back" because Tanki does not do that, but instead perform a "retrograde refit".

I'm not up to date with all the updates... can someone tell me what has happened to magnum? It doesn't seem to do splash damage anymore and direct hits aren't good, but I don't know if that's a bug.

You may be using the Mortar augment. Mortar no longer deals splash damage.

Yes I do use mortar. That's outrageous. I think it should say in the garage that splash is removed.

It would be better if you keep up with the balance changes that occur, as they occur frequently. They don't fo a good job of keeping augment descriptions updated with balance changes but that changed recently with drone descriptions and may change for other aspects of the garage soon. Just keep up with the balance changes to know what's happening in the meantime.

Hopefully it gets buffed soon, it got nerfed like Shaft where just because a few people were playing lame with Magnum, the entire turret died instead of just the trash playstyles ?

Are you maybe referring to those using the AP augment?

Or the ones hiding behind buildings equipped with Mortar and Saboteur?

It used to be the only turret I used. With titan I could also use it as a battering ram and attack the flag.

Now it's rubbish and so is defender drone.

I would like a refund of £40 for buying crystals to use magnum.

It does not work as advertised.  If I dont get it, i will contact the bank directly and they will remove it from your account and back to mine.

This is false advertising.

omg , £40 only for magnum. I think someone can play for a few days and can have it in a discount or even buying a kit. You can by playing hard gather around 60K for 5 hours.

I meant magnum mortar sorry.

I paid to get the crystals for the augment believing what it said in the game description, however magnum mortar just lays the mines, so you have no choice but to hide, this change has ruined the turret and the augment.

I have raised a dispute with paypal, if they cannot help I will be contacting the bank and performing an indemnity claim.  I have been mis-sold.

I don't have a problem with AP Magnum at this point in time, actually. It seems strange since it's strong, but there are, unfortunately, far bigger problems to deal with, and getting them to AP Magnum's level would be a good thing - you'd have an easier time getting Stun Striker and AP Freeze to the same level as AP Magnum and the other "weak" AP augments if they were actually there - EMP Gauss only got nerfed once other augments got brought in that were just a little under its level, as an example. (And then they introduced augments that were way stronger, but ignore that for my comparison.)

I'm mostly referring to magnums who do nothing the entire battle, be they Saboteur AP Magnums who camp, or Magnum Mortar Miner players who put down a minefield on the attacking team in ASL.

Mortar has no splash damage anymore, since a patch some time ago. It is a ridiculous change, I must say. Mortar is now easily the worst augment in the game - and there was no need to nerf it in that manner, in my opinion it was an interesting and very unique augment that was not at all OP, and took some skill to master.

Splash needs to be returned to Magnum mortar, for sure. Vertical Magnums will often be trying to hit targets they can't even see, and so rely on splash damage, so not having it for such an augment is ludicrous. One mine being laid, when not hitting a target, simply does not make up for this.

The only remaining "no damage" bug that personally get with Magnum is with the Harpoon augment - sometimes I find when hitting shots at very high charge-up levels that it records no damage - even when it sometimes flips the target due to the impact force. Other than that, I am glad to say they seem to have fixed most instances of the Magnum "no damage" bug. I would like to see a bug fix for Harpoon, and also the return of splash damage to Mortar.
