Hello! We unintentionally stacked up a lot of Stories so we decided it would be best to publish our supply so that we'll have a clean slate to start the next season. It is almost time for many of us to go back to school, so this is the perfect opportunity to escape the real world and dive into some dynamic stories. Enjoy!

Note: Act it Out! contest will continue this month and Limerick Poem results will be posted soon, apologies for the inconvenience.

No offence, but, having these much stories is just too much.

I, personally, have changed my thoughts on fiction and have developed a liking for the good ones. But, having this much fiction, in what is supposed to be a 'newspaper', is out of the boundaries and unacceptable.

I have a question. Someone told me I should try my hand at AWS. That's the Amateur Writing Section, right (or rather, write)? Well, what is it,

exactly? Do you just write something, Tanki-related or no, and upload it to the AWS? If it gets the OK, will it go on display for anyone who wants to

see? How do you post something to it?

Thanks in advance!

Yes you just write something, whether Tanki related or no, and post in AWS. Once the reporters approve (which can take some days) everybody will be able to see it. But once posted, no editing by you until published in AWS.

Oh, and thanks for the gift!

I understand, and agree with you to some extent. Personally, I was also afraid of the lack of genre diversity in this issue, although this is just one time experiment. Thanks for your input.

I think that @thethiefofvictory has clarified this pretty well, but I felt that maybe I could add something more.

The AWS is a place for all writers who aren't reporters to practice their writing. It's like a club in the "Off-topic" discussions, but only for writers. You can write whatever you want, it doesn't have to relate to Tanki, so long as you don't break any forum rules, plagiarize or use excessive profanity. As @thethiefofvictory said, it can take a few days for us to get to it, but rest assured that one way or another, you will either hear from us or see it in the AWS. Once approved, your article will be visible to anybody wishing to see it on the internet. To post something, simple copy your entire article from wherever it is currently stored, go to the "Amateur writing section", click "start new topic", paste your content into the topic and click "submit" and your topic has been created.

In addition, you can also get your article featured in the Official Newspaper if it meet demands, like quality, quantity, etc. You can learn more about this initiative here, and generally about the Amateur Writing Section here.

Within the last couple (okay, so maybe more like five) hours I've been working on a piece exclusively for Tanki. However, I'm only halfway done and it's seven pages already. With the AWS want something this long?

There's no restriction with how long your article can be, but I would suggest that you try to split it up into a few different articles so that it is not only easier for us to provide you feedback of better quality but so it is easier for the reader.

Thanks :)!

Hey, can I get a link to the AWS?

Go to Tanki Forum main page, scroll down until you find Amateur Writing, and click. Or here's a link: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showforum=224

So this is story edition?

Yes! All stories! No guides, no review, no interviews, no The Dictator! Just stories! :D Have fun!

Guides and reviews tend to be pretty long, to be honest. But seven pages and halfway through? Yeah you will want to make some cuts. But then I'm making a guide, very incomplete and already 2k words. And one of my favourite AWS stories went as far as 15k words (enough for a novella, mind you) in ONE part.

Okay, thanks. The only reason it's so long is that there's a lot going on, and I try not too make things too confusing (unlike someone I know, *cough cough*).
