What positive things do you want to see in Tanki Online?

I myself think there should be NO Gold Boxes in Matchmaking maps. Only server drops should be possible. No gold supply allowed. It would help people focus and actually play the battle and not just go in the battle to catch some gold. A lot of people would hat this idea though. Especially low rankers!

True. Did they ever tell us how the gold box dropping mechanic for MM works? They said they removed the fund but gold box drops before MM were dependent on the fund. How does the system drop the gold?

If you make the gold box rare, then the black one would be even more rare. 

 

No one says you have to go after the gold box. It's a choice each player makes. 

 

Is this your thought?:

Gold box drops near you that another player dropped and no one else is around.

You think/say to yourself, "That stupid gold box, again. I wish they would take them out of the game. Well, I'm not falling for this distraction, let someone else be distracted by it." Then as you go around it your attitude is "Game On!!"

 

When the gold box drops do you sit quietly until the gold box crowd disperses or take advantage of the situation? It's a distraction only if you try for the box. Personally, I take advantage (or according to your attitude....undo advantage) of the situation. I load up a DD and unleash my Vulcan upon the pile, change a CP or two, grab a flag, whatever I can do for the team and for myself. 

 

If, in your eyes, that's wrong, then I do not apologize for it at all

So, I seen that they even changed the gold box mechanism. On the TO wiki, it is written that the gold box is connected to the timer and the probability is unknown.

 

It is sad when we see what gold box (which was first meant to be a bonus) did to the whole game experience. The fact the players will do more to catch a gold box rather than to fight for a flag, ball or a point is frustrating.

As for low rankers, it is the game's fault they spoiled them with gold box supplies. Instead of gold box supply, you can give low rankers some better bonuses like easier daily missions with bigger rewards or organize some new battle formats for them.

TO used to be a big game, the Forum community was bigger. The reason why players left this game are the bad updates, everything started with Premium accounts and the last hit was the Matchmaking system (I said it is a good concept, but in TO it doesn't work properly so that is why players hate it). Remember the time with crystal boxes. I was the first one to complain when they were removed, but Iater I realized why were they removed, because they were just increasing the already present multing problem.

If crystal boxes, which were also a bonus for players, were removed, I don't see the reason why the same thing cannot be done with the gold box supply. Gold box is not a problem, it is a good thing, I agree that it makes some things more fun during the battle, but is it better when it is just a rare bonus and when you play to increase battle fund (not even thinking about the box because you will get a good reward if you help your team to win) and the gold box comes as a surprise or is it better when everyone can use it to manipulate and ruin the game experience? Even the concept of the gold box is not the same as it used to be, I see that some players are telling me that it is a strategy making tool. As for me, it is just a tool where you turn battles into amusement parks and still it is against the main ideas of the game. As for the crystal boxes, many ways for violating the game rules were opened. The same thing stands for this supply, what is preventing you from gathering your friends, creating a battle, and dropping gold boxes for yourself and for them? 

Just remember the time when ideas for even having things like gold box supplies or changing its probability were immediately rejected. I don't know what happened and why was this even added to the game because TO has bigger problems that need to be solved.

You don't even need any friends.  Just create a battle for yourself, drop and collect.

There will not be P2W, so players will no longer be forced to grind or pour out their wallets, microtransactions will not be ludicrously expensive and the game will not be closer to kicking the bucket. Funds will not be really low in the game and it will no longer take you 2 years as a casual to get to the top rank. Balance will not get worse and the game will not have updates that everyone hates. Alternativa Platform will not be so salty and strict with its rules and you will not get your blocked account back.

 

All of these statements are not true. 100% accuracy!

I'd like to see, when a container drops or is earned, it opens with a choice of 2 or 3 items that you can choose one of.

As we can't suggest ideas for rewards it'll probably never happen, but one can dream...

Nerf of some alts (LOOKING AT U DUPLET)

 

Shorter rank span in MM Battles

 

Lower PRO pass maybe 2-3 ranks

 

Make drones less expensive

 

Raise rank to drop gold boxes 

 

Revamp GS

 

Fairer way of sorting people into matches in MM

Yes, I can agree Duplet needs a little nerfing. A lot of the alterations need work on.

I would like to see work on the clan system, as it is outdated and needs new features :) It's one of the biggest aspects in the game, so why not work on it earlier?

I'd like freeze and fire to get xp for using their turrets for healing purposes or countering the other. Freeze gets xp for freezing burning victims, fire for thawing frozen victims, and freeze for freezing a friendly vulcan overheating. That sorta thing. Similar to isida. Right now I won;t stick by a vulcan as a freeze get nothing out of it while helping him. Even if it helps us win.... how does it help me to win in a game where i have 15 xp. Choosing to sacrifice my game play for a vulcans great run. Anyways. I'm rambling.

 

Xp for use of overdrive that are shared. 5 xp per overdrive shared with. If you activate overdrive with 1 friendly near by, 5 xp. 2 friendly, 10 xp. 3 15xp, 4 20xp, 5 25 xp. Or something like that, not less... possibly more but I think 5 is fair per tank. Maybe also tack on 5 xp per tank, plus x amount for total healing created. So if I activated overdrive near a friend who is full hp, I get 5 xp. If I activate overdrive near a teammate/friend who is 18 hp, and totally heal his tank, 5 xp, plus 10 xp. 

 

Motivate strategy by giving xp for stuff that shows Experienced Play. 

 

If a single viking goes in steals flag and wants to use an overdrive to get out... not saving it for teammates ok... That's experienced play as well. You save overdrive for yourself to get the flag. And the flag rewards you with extra hp. 

 

But a person who has overdrive at 1 min left in game, and then has 5 teammates pass by and never uses it for rest of game... coax them along tanki!

 

A more inventful alt for isida. 

 

I might add more later.

 unfortunate  they do not know the value of what they have in their hands This game was one of the greatest games If the game if they properly invested the game it will become one of the greatest games again In the past I was playing on another account and I lost it and I played on this account since 2014 I could not imagine a day to see this but I saw it there Pages on Facebook  have one post  have more Likes than that and the number in the best cases does not reach 20,000

remove gold box supply, and make goldboxes very hard to find again, by making gold boxes more worthwhile, perhaps 5000cry or more?. some people tend to sit in the corner of the map (especially when the drop rate is increased) and only come out whenever a gold drops. reminds me of the crystal boxes a little.

i do however hope the best for tanki and hoping to see a big playerlist again. not convinced it will happen but perhaps they can make it happen after finishing up HTML5 and overdrives and start advertising.

My solution to gold box distraction: Remove the siren. 

Hey, this works perfectly. The siren is what gets everybody to go to the gold. Without the siren, only the people that see the gold have a chance of getting it! :)

This is not a bad suggestion. Instead of the siren which automatically stops the battle's flow, let the gold box to drop suddenly without any notification (like on this video on 2:39). If the gold box supply was removed, this would make the gold box more fun and it would return its original function - to be a BONUS, not a tool for making strategy.
