It's easier on Mobile, surprisingly enough. Maybe they should do the red outlines from that on the desktop version.

I agree. I play gauss on my google+ acc on mobile and all I have to do is find a vantage point, go into sniping mode and just slowly turn the turret till I see a red outline then lock on , fire, kill. I used railgun before this and that red outline thing literally made me as effective as a shaft. Mobile controls may take longer to get used to but the other benefits of playing on mobile are so much that taking time to get used to the controls is totally worth it.

The red outline is already on the HTML5 version. It makes it almost too easy.

Not gonna do much if you're a light hull and they're all shooting at you though.

Well, in that case does it matter what turret they are using?  4 of any turret will make short work of 1 target.

Well, 1 module will cover you against 50% of the enemy tanks...

I haven't seen that many gausses. In many battles I take part in, there are usually 2 gausses, some guy on the opp. team and me. Both on my active acc and on this acc.

Was a response to Congos post about seeing 4 Gauss on enemy team in one battle...  in that one situation equipping Gauss module is definitely worth because half the team was using Gauss.

What is the point of this weapon? It is literally just thunder with a slower projectile travel speed and with a delayed, but with double the damage shot when using a mode that striker already has. Whomever says this is a sniping weapon like shaft makes me lmao. Who and why thought this was a good idea for a weapon when it is literally just an existing weapon with an existing gimmick attached? Have you run out of ideas? Why is everyone talking like it's an interesting idea when it could very easily have been an alteration to striker or thunder? If you have thunder, you basically have this weapon, what reason do I have to buy essentially the same weapon again?

IMO, Gauss is a Smoky with different projectile mechanics and a Critical shot you can use to your will, but which requires locking on.

Besides the fact that devs recently released an update that made thunder shoot out projectiles at the speed of Gauss, you have a point.

Gauss is basically thunder, striker, and pre 2015 shaft all rolled into one.

The only thing that makes Thunder any different from Gauss these days is better splash radius (compared to Gauss normal shots) and lack of a lock on mode.
