Also commmon The Voltage, isn't "fully devastated" a big word to say? fully devastated?!! first EMP Gauss have a -50% reload time, that directly compensate the -25% nerf in damage, so even against EMP Immunity, it still OP.

But you cannot one-shot most of the tanks with this aug (EMP-immune or not). But this -25% is essential for EMP feature to works (if it wasn't there, you just one-shot the target and EMP goes for nothing). Also without boost of reload, your enemy probably hide somewhere from you.

And the problem you said, happens also with stock Gauss and Railgun and Magnum, so it's OP than Gauss - Railgun - Magnum.

Yes, it's hard to find them, I rarely see anyone of them while I'm on Legend, I think it's more rare for you to see in low ranks. But what I said, is just a pure statistics from Wiki, and here is an example

See this example for AP Hammer, it's the same with Stock, but for last shot of your clip they gave you the ability to AP the enemy, and -20% reload. Exactly the same with stock no disadvantage as they shown (the red disadvantage they added is just a bunk). So it's purely stronger than Stock Hammer, because it's exactly Stock Hammer with AP addition and -20% reload. And here even if you fight someone with AP Immunity, you didn't lose anything, in opposite you have -20% reload, an advantage for you

I have emp slavo from free ultra container long time ago, it is OP if no one use EMP immu augment,

but legend rank battle, 1 in 3 battle you will some enemy with emp immu, I also have emp immu for hornet and mamthon from normal container.

I found the best tip for emp salvo it is keep shooting the group with emp shot, to keep them supplies and defender/criss drone shut down. let your teammate clear them.

but at distance, gauss sometimes hard to lock when you move while locking. so better hide far and keep salvo.

the AP rail is more OP than emp salvo, emp shot only disable supplies protection, but AP disable both supplies and protection modules and titan dome protection.

AP immu is more important than emp immu if both in battle. as shot by emp enable you to use health kit again. consider that as a helper for you instead of against you, once you have 50% gauss protection, emp shot only help you use more health kit when needed

Guys Im confused I cant tell if they have removed Splash damage from gauss if they did IS it a bug or was it a nerf they didnt inform us about..

Either way I find this nerf pretty Bad Because if its true Gauss just became a worse version of thunder

Nothing is assured.. But I tested my Mk1 Gauss and it still have splash-damage.. But the EMP as others assume it has it splash removed completely.

Lol........it's still OP

Unlike Thunder, Gauss has far longer range and it's still a better Striker and Shaft.

If the splash damage is removed/reduced, just know this:
Gauss can still hold its own in a 1v1. It's still a very OP turret. It just doesn't do as well against groups but it can surely still out-perform Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Twins, Ricochet, Hammer, Vulcan, and Striker in a MatchMaking 1v1 scenario.

You probably read the full change already somewhere on the forum but Gauss did infact receive a massive nerf altogether. Its stock splash has drastically decreased to a negligible radius, only being able to hit the locked-on target and with a bit of luck a second tank is being hit if its close to the first tank.AP-Salvo and EM-Salvo no longer deal their corresponding status effects to other tanks apart from the target that has been locked onto. 

I am not unhappy with this change; what's more, I am relieved that EMS finally got the nerf it needed - I can confirm so as a player who regularly uses EMS - but even so, I find it disturbing that this important information was not shared with the playerbase

Because EMP Gauss needs a nerf and how OP that thing was. EMP is not meant to affect more than 1 tank other than Hunter OD.

Gauss lock shoot does no longer deal any splash damage. I have checked the forum and wiki, but found no announcement about it being removed.

Did they really removed the splash or reduced its radius to very short distance?

It was a secret nerf that Alternativa made. IDK why they decided to be quiet on this one but a nerf is needed either way.

The super shot splash radius is cut down to less than 5 meaning to splash with Gauss, the enemy tanks have to be really close to each other.

On the serious note, because of the nerf in Gauss super shot splash radius is cut, I think Gauss actually became way more effective at point blank and close range even when super shooting. So in a way Gauss is still strong.
