Making a new paint design isn't the problem. The problem is that it is a developer's decision. Believe me, we tried everything to let the devs create a new paint for every PS edition. But sadly they have decided to not develop new paints for this contest anymore. 

We Contest Organizers are not responsible for things like this. Our task is to organize a contest to entertain the community.

I wanna be clear, as players started complaining to me. Blaze was NOT intended to be removed. This decision was backed up by both the German and the English community managers and I am as pissed as you, that somebody starts bypassing irrevocable decisions made by his predecessors.

 

I also wanna be clear regarding getting a dedicated paint for this iteration of the contest. We have been in active talks about adding a new paint since summer, shortly after MoP 2019. We asked for a paint like MoP that would just be changed in color each year and kept forever. We also discussed to organize this contest internationally, including the Russian, German and Polish community, so that such a paint would be justifiable. But final talks have been delayed closer to the release date of the contest, by that point I had already left all my positions and as it seems all plans have been discarded or pushed under the carpet.

 

Lastly, please stop contacting me about issues with the game or administration. I have as much influence as any other players on the decisions of the administration, as I am no longer a helper or administrator.

As for the paint situation, there was a miscommunication between responsibile persons. Unlike Sky, Blaze doesn't have any information that this paint stays forever and it was made so on purpose. It wasn't stated that the paint will stay forever in the 2018 tournament topic as well.

 

Parkour Survival is a tournament organized on the yearly basis. Making a new paint each year will not make it more unique.

 

The decision was made by community managers and the person to blame is me, not contest organisers or contest admin.

 

It is up to each player to participate or not, but this topic is not for blaming anyone, it's for discussing this year parkour survival tournament.

At this point, the paint doesn't even matter anymore, your attitude towards the community does. You can not simply ignore all the facts provided by the man in charge back then, state your own view of the matter, and expect it's all good, just because of your position in the community.

 

Whether anything about the paint changes is irrelevant to me, just stop it with the lies, because that is not how you can lead a community.

You are right, I would post a few things as well, but because of his very domineering position and the 'stubbornness to an extent' , I'd rather not. I think it is better to let them do what they want to do, and ultimately lead it to their downfall.

In THIS sheet. Please note that if the entry marked as "Not Approved", that doesn't mean that your team got disqualified to enter the contest. But it's more that we mean that the entry didn't meet the requirements of the challenge. And you can contact one of the organizers of this contest to know the reason of the disapproval. Then you have to conquer the challenge again and send another entry.

And by the way, about submitting another entry. If you (if some cases want to submit another entry), let another one of your team members to submit the entry for the team.(since you cannot submit again using the submissions sheet)

Well "was tallen" is not even considered English, even by Oxford graduates such as yourself.

 

And I thought we were no longer discussing paint removals, but were discussing the validity of your words and the actions by individuals with power and how they use it regarding situations such as these. If you want proofs? When I'm confident, that there will be no unwanted repercussions, I will publicly post everything. Then your words will no longer be justifiable.

 

I hope that Sky is untouched. Because now it's just a mockery. The reward for winning Parkour Survival 2019 - it's just temporary. But I guess, it's like Top Class. But even then, Top Class has a value that only the best of the best would receive it for a short while (bit like eSports paints such as Champion, Silver, Bronze).

 

I wish the best of luck to all participants, and the parkour scene. Would love it, if there was an actual team for Parkour Organisers; like in the past there was Ben and SwiftSmoky;  superb combo who dealt with the scene without causing 'outrage'.

Yes, it can be rejected, so you must put time limit when creating the map.

Simply the timer rule is meant for us to do some checks on the originality of the content. :)
