I think the heyday of OP kits is a thing of the past.  At this point it looks to me like kits don't unlock early and certainly don't have much discount (they may do big sales in the future....50% on a kit would be huge).

 

Anyway, here is the MK6 Simoom kit which would have been an M2 kit previously.  I got this from my higher account that I don't use much any more.

OK, saving 44700 crystals is a lot of crystals, but is it worth waiting for the specific kit you ar looking for.  Remember ;now you have to be in the right place at the right time.  They ar only up for twelve hours and there are dozens of kits in the rotation.   Plus, the biggest reason for me buying kits was the early unlock...now that seems to be gone in the MK system.

 

I think for most Freebie players the kits are going to be a happy coincidence.  I doubt I will wait around for who knows how long waiting to catch the kit I want.  I will just pay a bit more and buy the items separately   Buyers on the other hand get a 40% discount when purchased with Tankoins...maybe worth it, but they still have the "right lace at the right time" problem the Freebies have.  My guess is that they too will tire of waiting around and just buy the kit they want without a discount or buy the items separately...after all it's only money.

 

The important part of this is it looks like the exaggerated prices of old kits (paint) are over...a kit now seems to be a package of equipment that you can buy for about the same price as it would be sold for separately (when the kit is not on sale).  When all the dust settles and ranks/MKs get themselves sorted and ranked up to where they should be, I don't think we will see the brutalization we use to see from outrageously early unlocked kits.  In fact I think kits won't have much to do with the game anymore at all...even from the Buyers.  Ultimately this should be a step in the right direction!

No price hike, huh? I had an M2 prot. Before I would have to pay 250k to get it M3, now it's 270k for Mk7. And it costs way over 350k to get Mk7 from scratch.

You say there was no way to gradually improve your tank? What about MUs? Worked exactly the same.

 

This whole update is just another 'reason' to make things more expensive in game. How clever.

After server update, everyone's accumulated experience of their turrets, hulls and modules all got reset back to 0 and back to Mk 6 even though garage is Mk7?

Previously GS score for half upgraded hull + turret > 9000 but now GS score < 5500?!

 

And BTW, I purchased Mk 1 to Mk 6 for Guass, and the final upgrade to Mk 7 requires 170000 crystals?!

A Mk5 to Mk 6 upgrade cost 100000 crystals. How come now we need to pay over 300000 crystals for a resistance module? 

I am lucky I had everything Mk 7 except mine and guass proc. I wonder how new players will find this game playable anymore... Battles without premium at legend rank gives you at most 300-400 crystals.

Only those with Mk7 modification level equipment can play in Format battles.

Ok, now I'm confused. Previously, I had a M2 Vulcan that had about 2-3 upgrades, and now is an Mk 4. My brother, had a M1 Ricochet fully upgraded (at the time it wasn't as good as mine), and now he has a Mk 5 Ricochet. There's something wrong here. And if there isn't, are you implying that a fully upgraded M0 turret would become a higher modification than a M3 with no upgrades? Because that's just wrong. I saved a whole ton of crystals (not literally) so that when I became the right rank, I could just buy the next modification, because it's a waste of time and crystals to buy upgrades... It's much cheaper to just buy the modification. And now are you telling me I did that for nothing? That's just... Well, really sucky. I'm just kind of sad, I guess you could say. Saving up gives no advantage, apparently. Guess I'll just have to work harder to save up...

Hi guys and girls. I don't know where should i ask this but here it goes... do you know how is possible to get 148387 crystals from battle fund with only 3158 experience? This guy with username Yrap_cool has done it last week and the previous week was even better. He has no premium account, last week we didn't have increased fund and even with premium and increased fund it is impoossible to do it. Does he play 10 hours battles in pro-battles and everybody leaves in the last second and he gets all the fund? He is 2nd in the rating pole.

Using Dictator's Overdrive doesn't give you any experience, but it does give you battle score, which puts you higher in your team's scoreboard and in turn gives you more crystals.

So this player is literally sitting there and just using Dictator OD to boost team-mates multiple times per battle?  Talk about gaming the system.

But... if doing nothing else the (dictator) OD will be charging only at normal rate.  Unless they are sitting under a nuclear drop there can't be that many per battle.

Yes pro battle where at the end he stay and get all the fund. Little minions play full and long battle, he comes right at the end (or be part of it on a different account), everybody leaves the battle before the end and he alone gets all the fund. This is why private battle were made with very little fund, it is more difficult but you can still managed to achieve that in pro. 

You cannot do that in MM.

It's possible that they used the Mechanic drone. It can speed up Overdrive cooldowns and give bonus points.
