Modifications - UPDATED 14:00 UTC on 17/01/2020

In fairness to the devs, as I've been quite critical of this update (I don't agree with how the modification conversion was done to let people get m4 at low rank for instance, though it is fun, hopefully things will even out after a few months), I can see a few positives with the new kit/modifcation system. The kits are actually quite good value if you are looking to get a turret or hull or module you don't already have a lower modification of.

If you are wanting to get a module you don't own or turret/hull you don't own - it is "only" 15% off but remember each modification is cheaper now, and so that is roughly equivalent to what it was before. Also, if you are buying a product kit you do not have to pay for all the lower modifications, so if you want a turret and the module, or even better yet the turret hull and module it can be cheaper to get a kit than buy the module or turret/hull on their own. This is not taking into account 50% sales, but I have checked and it would be cheaper in some cases than buying even on 30% sales.

For instance Simoom mk5(m2) is now 175,950 crystals and you get mk5 dictator thunder and 25% module - to buy that separately if you didn't have any of the lower modifications would be: 134250 (dictator) + 121,150 (thunder) + 115,000 (module) = 374,400 crystals. So that's quite a substantial saving. The mk6 and mk7 kits skip even more ranks so they are I believe even better value. Of course, the more lower modifications you have the less good value they are, but the kits are not too bad.

Also while there is usually only 1 kit for crystals available in the shop (though actually I have seen 2 or even 3 at times) the 12 hour rotation is better and I think that will help you to get kit items faster than the old system. However I wouldn't wait for a specific kit, if you want the turret or hull at lower rank I'd probably just go for a kit with the hull or turret - that's what I did in the old system as it takes too long to wait for the "perfect" kit.

I also think that the lower difference between the power levels of different turrets and hulls at the same mk level is better and should even things out more. And, buyers can only get a kit at 1 rank lower than non-buyers so that is another thing that should help balance in the long run.

Overall though, really I didn't see a problem with the old system even for non-buyers like myself and I would rather it was left as it was. Having kits available only 2 ranks (or 3 for buyers) before the modification unlocks instead of 4-6 ranks before would have been all that was needed really.

i think your view of the matter also taking in account your previous post is just sad. So long term it will be good? Just listen to yourself, you just said it too.

EVERYONE will be limited by ranks. But not you favored childs of heaven with your option to at least put some kind of a fight with mk7s since you will be all in equal footings. SO, long term everyone else will have an even harder time reaching higher ranks. The hell are you even saying? don't you see that? WHAT LONG TERM GAIN. The hell men. That is rude. They broke at least 70-80% of their lower-mid rank player base with this stunt and we only see more and more posts of some having a fun blasting ppl right after the new (oh so useful) longer spawn protection not being actually that very useful. And not being satysfied why not finish off the other 20-30% by making only 1 skin BESIDES the ones you actually have to pay for or hope to get as another type of favored childs of heaven? C'mon. No one can be THAT blind to talk about long term gain unless they just have smooth sail ahead and expect to be in the right.

Resuming. Short-term pain for even LONGER-term pain. You name it: earnings of crystals and exp , or even some fun of blowing some tanks up ( cause ye... this is a game and I DOUBT any person here besides some masochists just love to get K/D under 0.20 in a competitive setting just because some lucky guys UNFAIRLY by one MU got over the limits everyone has to abide for ) .

My point was - going forward - everyone will have the same restrictions - including buyers.

Buyer starts a new account and they wont be able to buy a Striker kit at sergeant and quickly upgrade that to m2.  They will be limited to mk-levels just like everyone else.

You are complaining about the NOW - and I get that.  I already said they botched the conversion.  But if you can't see how the rank limits for upgrading will help in future, we don't have anything else to discuss.

I was thinking the same thing; that those with insane equipment now will just rank up faster and reach higher ranks, where their equipment becomes reasonable. And those buyers that follow suit will have the new Modification restrictions at that rank.

But, seeing that even Master Corporals are getting insane equipment, will they rank up to the top soon? Or will we have them suddenly popping up with their Mk7+ equipment at Mk4 ranks all year round? Only time will tell.

Will need to see a new rank-limit chart for mks.  We know you can't go from mk6.10 to mk7.0 until you get to Marshal.

But what about the rest?

What some of this means is that those in the middle ranks need to take a break for a bit while those with m3+ at low ranks are able to rank themselves up. Will be a bloodbath for a few weeks.

Yesterday, we released the update that increased the number of modifications from 4 to 7.

М0 - > Mk1, Mk2

M1 - > Mk3, Mk4

M2 - > Mk5, Mk6

M3 - > Mk7

Make it so you can downgrade from Mk7 to Mk1

I wonder what's the state of your lieutenant account ? Soon full garage?

Actually....

Firebird, Freeze, Isida, Smoky, Thunder, Railgun, Gauss, Hunter, Hornet, Viking and 10 protection modules were given Mk7 status for that account.

Why do i see some tanks my rank and they have m2  ricochet at warrant officer .

M2 Ricochet is the equivalent to M1 Ricochet I believe, I mean I'm a 2nd Lieutenant and I have M4s, it's the new update. Mk7 is the new best module

The problem is that those who had bought and fully upgraded M2 kits at Warrant Officers can upgrade them even further. Instead of getting Mk6.10, they have got Mk7.

Yeah - they botched the conversion.  My alt made my Vulcan and Hunter m2.10 so I benefited (though not at really low rank)

Is there any chart that shows what mk you can get to per rank now?
