Ahem, so i had hornet m2 2/10 and rail m2 10/10 before.... and now my hornet change to mk4 which is, effectively, an m1, and my rail changed to an m3, mk7. Now with this new update i cant join xp/bp battles anymore??? due to my "hornet m1".... Does tanki really only care about matchmaking, or is this a bug and ill get my m2 hornet back?

I cant believe they removed old kits, now non-buyers can't get kits with crystals. Its UNFAIR! if you want that so bad, allow us to change cry into tankoins, they're just using tankoins as an excuse to not care about non-buyers.

In my opinion M2 10/10 Turrets and Hulls should get re-adjusted to Mk6 10/10, but Modules can stay the way they are due to Overdrives etc.  

Is it just me or lets say if I had a wo5 account with m2 railgun and hornet at 10/10MU, after the update i could potentially buy some crystals and just make it m4 or i guess mk8? so playing at wo5 with 9999gs seems completely not broken? Right?.... Riiiight....

There are kits with crystals, they just moved it to the "Showcase"

It's mad. So many people with fully MU'd turrets (that's an Eradicator kit?) don't have to wait until the unlock rank for M2 or M3s to start MUing them to M3 or M4.

 

I was thinking about buying M2 Smoky product kits for my Captain account (this one) or my soon-to-be Captain account because I didn't want to wait until Colonel to start MUing my Smokies to M3, even if meant buying a Smoky M2 module and Viking or Titan M2 at full price.

 

But now I can start MUing all of my Smokies to M3 if I want to

Don't worry go to https://tankionline.com/play/ and go to shop and you can get 6 to 5 crystal product kits every day! The product kits switch from tankoins to crystals or crystals to tankoins.

It's insane indeed... but it is a short term problem i think cuz players wil rank eventually  and i can see in the future the mid ranks be somewhat balanced... to be honest the game wil never be 100% balanced like all other games

Yes. For 9999 GS you needed 3x 50% module, drone and alteration, so 9999GS will be very rare at low ranks. M4's won't be so rare, but as everyone will rank up, they slowly will.
Yes, it's actually broken and it should be better if they kept it at Mk6 10/10 rather than Mk7 0/20, but I'm not gonna complain with dict/hammer Mk7 combo at 3rd lt :X

STOP REMOVING STRATEGY FROM THE GAME

It's perfectly fine if certain tanks have certain advantages at certain points. Some people employ various strategies in order to put themselves in that position. Why shouldn't they be rewarded?
You don't need to keep 'balancing' things out so that everything is more even. If tanki developers think that's such a great idea, then why not insist that everyone must have the exact same tank?

And bring back the choice of microupgrades too removed in a previous update.  It's not 'unfair' if some players have a smarter strategy in upgrading their equipment. And it's less fun if they don't have the option.

I really wish I'd got my Hunter on this account up to M2 10/10 before the update instead of M2 5/10, M4 Hunter at under 500K XP ranks would have been fun and getting to Mk7 unlock ranks or even Mk7 product kit ranks is take ages

My shaft m1 10/10 on my low is now mk4 8/10 and

on my main my fire smokey and hunter were m2 10/10 and are now mk7. 

why is my shaft not mk5 while on my main they are mk7?

glad you posted it, just a note that once again -40% and -15% are sooooooo fair~ not to mention balanced~ but good luck with balancing mid ranks with this move, you just made some buyers reaaaally happy by giving them the change for 9k GS from First LT to Major and who doesn't , well  keep up the good work with balancin. "new players" as you call it will have an easier time sure, but everyone stops at mid ranks for a loooong time, so you just made the game unbearable to play above WO1.
