And yeah i no i spelt ...KIDDIE... wrong, but no one is perfect, accept riddler, who in my opinion should deff have a animated green paint named after him.

I remember during a livestream Hazel himself publicly said that if you cannot beat the cheaters, join them and you may as well profit along the way. Whats wrong with flying tanks after all?

Hopper was not added to prevent fly hack?

It was more of a tongue in cheek comment, I doubt the that was the thought process behind Hopper. 

It is an interesting strategy thinking about it though.

Crisis is ridiculous, was using it on the test server because of the container giveaway and managed to flip a Titan a few times because it was going too fast

Yo I loved playing in Opposition and Novel. Great maps! Novel to me is a big Polygon and Opposition is small and tidy, over and under

So... let's call the game hornet-hopper online?  Since that is what everyone should be using?

bruh I recently somehow pulled Electromagnetic Salvo Augment for Gauss out of sheer luck. What do you think about the balance of this Augment? I completely forgot it removes the splash on normal shots. I think it is pretty OP with damage boosting drones. To balance this, I think the Augment should disable your own supplies if you are in the splash radius of the super shot. I mean, it makes sense right? You take the damage, but you don't get EMPed?

 

Also, any thoughts on Hyperion Drone? I never see anybody using it. Is it just a bad drone?

Non-serious answer - It needs to be deleted. 

 

Serious answer - Idk how you'd balance this. The effect it gives is just so asinine.

It's not a bad drone, but just doesn't seem like it's worth the crystals to buy it and upgrade it. You can have a budget Hyperion drone in the form of the Trickster drone where no extra supplies are consumed (and you don't need to upgrade Trickster at all). Or you can have it in the form of Defender or Booster where with Defender you can activate DD and then DA immediately or DA and then DD immediately with Booster, whilst giving a strong effect to those supplies in the process and consuming less supplies overall. And you also speed up the reload of the respective supplies by manually activating the others. 

 

I'd rather use Defender or Booster than Hyperion.

So that explains it. I was rather surprised when I expected a normal Gauss shot from you only to see my supplies disabled. 

yeah dude we saw each other in battle. I am known to be a hater of Gauss and here I am using it. I still use Thunder though. Gauss mains are bad

Thought it was only snipe that has the EMP - "Sniped shots deactivate enemies' supplies for 5 seconds"

no what i mean, are the normal shots, not the super shot. Normal shot no longer has any splash damage, but projectiles fly faster.

Sorry - I read it wrong.

That removal of slash is actually a benefit.  No longer a danger to itself up close.

The augment is way, way too powerful.  They need to remove the snipe reload boost and also not allow splash damage from snipe to have EMP effects.

Actually they should just add the splash back to arcade and remove splash entirely from the augment.  You want splash?  Use stock.  You want EMP?  You get no snipe splash.

agreed. that's my first idea of a Electromagnetic Salvo nerf i proposed a while back. It got rejected. Now that I'm using it, it is so powerful.

 

On a side note. I accidentally ranked up to Legend 3 without recording it. ?

Another Discount/Ultra Weekend, another weekend filled to the brim with Hornet death squads equipped with Defender and Booster. My poor Titan struggling to make it to the other side of the map to put down the dome. My poor Titan struggling to survive seconds after I place my dome. My poor Titan subsequently self-destructing every time a Hornet counters my dome. 

Every time I push through to complete the battle point special missions, it's always slugging through these Hornets that render my dome a deathtrap rather than a safe haven. That isn't counting the 4 other Overdrives that do the same (Ares isn't much of a problem due to the slow projectile speed). I should have taken note but I'd wager on at least 70% of my domes were countered in the first 10 seconds after activation. Whether it be me dying because of an Overdrive, or me dying from the enemy team pooling their damage on me, or both simultaneously. My reward for enduring this mess once again was 4 commons, 10k crystals and a garage paint. 

 

Until this Hornet nerf comes and this self-destruction bug on mobile is fixed, the game is just not enjoyable as a Titan user.

If Tanki ever shuts down, I would be dedicated and determined to bring it back to life. Assuming their game does shut down eventually, maybe they could sell me their game for a few thousand dollars, or even give it to me for free. My job is exhausting but when I do work, I can make up to $1200 a day, so it would not be a problem if they offered me $10,000 for their game. I would be so happy if they offered me Tanki, free or not, I would fix it up and remove all these horrible updates added since 2015. I would start the game from scratch in the Unity Engine, not HTML5. I am an experienced programmer, s0 it would take me about 6 months to create the whole game from scratch. I would make it with realistic graphics similar to Tanki X but at the same time playable with low system requirements. I am very sure I could make tens of thousands of people happy if I did this.

Maps won't load.  Which one is Novel?

The one with an underground passage and large walls?  - was thinking of Scope - I like that one.

Or is it the one with two main building areas and a long metal "walkway"?
