Do you think they buffed freeze  purposely  to promote cold immunity or cold resistance? Or try to promote people using badger? Well I may never know, this is just my hypothesis. I can also see this to give people more reasons to use defender.

The hull augment wont save the defender from the damage.  Don't see the point in those since you will be dead long before you are frozen.

You have even less of a reason to use Cold Immunity now. The freezing status was effectively nerfed, which is the reason why the Cryo augments had their critical damage penalties removed (and Cryo Railgun finally became not garbage, but that sadly only lasted a week).

I understand the movement speed reduction was lessened....


But the effect now lasts up to 10 seconds and has a greater effect on turret rotation when at max accumulation now...

And I get Freeze will kill you before it manages to fully freeze you but the freeze Augments for Hammer, Smoky, and Railgun all instantly reduce your temperature to the minimum.

I'm sure you're away of Lou's Hyperthermia star power? When it released, I knew immediately it was gonna be garbage. Because for a mechanic like that, the maximum % reduction needs to be high. Soon after, it got set to a high number, just as I expected. 

 

Yes the turret slowdown is high, statistically. But whenever I'm fighting a Shock Freeze or get hit by a Cryo augment, or just by being in the radius of an enemy Dictator's Overdrive, I barely notice a difference in my rotation speed. That is, it is somehow not a problem even with such a high %. 

 

When I was playing with Cryo Smoky and Cryo Railgun, I had that in the back of my mind every time I equipped it. "Their speed may not be slowed down much but at least their turret will be slow". Every time I played it, it made 0 difference. Whether it be that the player the enemy is shooting is already in their line of sight, or that the hull speed decrease is so small now that even if the turret rotation speed penalty was 100%, all they had to do was turn their hull. 

 

This was the same both using the augments and fighting against it, which is why I suggested the critical damage penalties be removed, if you remember that.

I think Blunderbuss is alright for where it is right now. Dealing with Hammer's Status Effects are pretty annoying. I switched from Blunderbuss to Magnetic Pellets.

Yeah, but freeze and hammer both need LOS while Tesla doesnt. Plus Tesla deals a ton of damage per strike and a very fast reload.

What does LOS stand for? Line of sight? Also, I feel that Tesla's main advantage is its single target attacks and tricky ball lightning. Once it chains to another person or a group, it instantly sucks. Provided Armadillo is in the game, and more users who have obtained it somehow are rising.

Well, the armadillo is another matter, and so are protections. I think in a one on one scenario, hammer would lose because of longer reload, and in maps with more than one elevation, if Tesla already has the high ground, its an automatic win or even behind a wall.

I've defeated many hammers with Tesla and been defeated by Tesla when using hammer many times, so it seems that Tesla is hammers Achilles heel.

As for freeze, its a bit more tricky. Granted that freeze is better at head on combat than tesla. But if the map has many elevations, then Tesla would certainly win.

Okay I just recorded a short gameplay on how fast viking charges. Its really dumb how I managed to get the charge in less than 2 min. It even charged fast  without the driver drone. Please don't give me "Vikings balanced" or It has slow charge. SLOW CHARGE my bum. Sure it has slow charge passively but landing kills in, it's really damn fast. In my overall opinion, this hull needs a nerf like I have been saying for a long while. 

This set I used is to show how OP viking is with its charge when used at the max potential.

I mean what do you expect. Litterally over 90% of the tanki community uses this OP hull. I do hope it gets nerfed one day or very soon. XD

I don't use viking a lot tho it's the first mk7 hull I got. The bad maneuverability and slow OD and slow speed makes me want to use hunter more or dictator. It's so bulky!

Slow speed??? Its litterally the fastest med hull for its class. The OD is not slow when you land kills or use it to the max potential. I clearly even posted a quick gameplay on how fast it charged. If you would prefer hunter or dictator, how come I don't see many of them in matches. The most common hull I see the most in any mode is viking.

Well me too but I still don't like it. It's really too hard to maneuver, I fall off bridges a lot for its stupidly big size. 

Oh you got blunderbuss me too! How you got so many good stuff you buyer?!

Blunderbuss I got from 3 ultra weekends ago. From special missions. The thing that helped me get good prizes is getting all the country paints and other stuff during sale so I can shrink the prize pool. The thing I don't like about blunderbuss is its spread. Its kinda garbage and has less range. You have to get close to land kills. But I'm already used to charging in.

Ikrrr when you shoot from far off it does 300 damage. However the reload is similar to the pause between each normal clip shot for hammer stock.

I got it from missions ultra I think. I also got mammoth UT from ultras during the TO bday celebrations, those are the only good and worthwhile stuff I got from ultras.

I think the buff given to isida is quite a handful. It can deal damage so quickly, and now it is proving to be more harmful around the corners. Unless the player has got a protection from it, even the stock isida is not a force to be reckoned with. I think a little bit of damage nerf is required. 

(And yes, nerf of freeze and tesla is direly needed anytime soon)

Hunter was made obsolete ever since they gave wasp all those status effects. It was so bad that wasp became the new hunter while still being wasp.

And the shoe (dictator) is only really good in beginner and low ranks where almost no one has supplies. Once it reaches the mid ranks, it starts to become obsolete because by then and much further up, everyone has supplies and is using them.

An as for the hull itself, its by far the most awkward hull to play with. Its so big, and tall, slow and bouncy. Only advantage it has is its weight.
