Is the probattle scene active? Are there lots of battles besides xpbp? Its 400k to buy the pass I believe so its gotta be worth a lot

What pass? you can participate in pro battles for free! Although, if you're talking about the value below, it is the maximum amount of crystals and xp you can earn in pro-battles in a week, not the cost

There are 2 battle modes that people play a lot in pro battles: parkour and XP/BP. You can chill, flex your skins and make friends in parkour, or if you have some supplies to waste, you can participate in ''parkour beefs''. just shoot someone to start it and the winner is who kills or flips the other first lol. What i meant to say is that parkour mode isn't restricted to just getting on top of buildings. I like xp/bp the most because only skill is required there (no supplies needed and no useless and additional deaths like in parkour)

There are plenty of regular PRO battles, not just Parkour battles. I recently noticed there are way more than there used to be a year ago. And there's no cost to enter, just a limit on daily XP and crystals, neither of which I care about as a Legend rank.

I play the polygon DM pro battle fairly often - first to 38 kills. Supplies turned off. Sometimes play skyscrapers CTF too. Both have regular players.

In no particular order.

1- Augments-killed the game.

2- Floating trash cans-killed the game.

3- Mobile players-unfair advantage-killing the game.

4- Re-mastered maps-lag infested and glitchy as hell-waste of space.

5- Protection modules--sorry, did I say protection, I will start again. Modules - waste of time because of augments and crits and they cost a fortune in cry to upgrade.

6- HP for hulls and all other parameters - PATHETIC. Fastest/lightest hull (wasp) should have lowest HP, power, etc. At the moment the parameters for hulls is just backward.

7- Upgrades - They have a negative impact on the majority of players- this is a FACT.

8- MM - 

9- TO in one word - complicated.

10- The devs -  

11- 2024 - All the above and way, way more to come.

12- Happy new year guys, though I doubt very much the word "happy" will mean anything in TO.

I am just wondering how can someone play from a small screen. If you are home, obviously a big screen should be the choice. Do they play while they are sitting with friends or when they are at school/work? Honestly I cannot envision one smart reason, but at least I understand a bit better why so many players are terrible.

Some players might choose mobile as its just cheaper than a laptop/PC. I believe a 100€ phone can run tanki without much of a problem.
But yeah, personally cannot imagine playing mobile much either, just because I can hardly see what is going on in there, not that I am some super gaming nerd or anything.

This is one of the biggest complaints in the game. This is "THE" main reason why so many players have a very weak garage at the higher ranks.

This compounds the problem of the already useless MM by a large factor.

This should be 940 cry and 351 XP. It's just another "not" so subtle way to get players to compensate by spending cash.

I complete weekly missions and then stop because of this.

The devs have no scruples or morals when it comes to ripping players off, by any and all means possible.

What is the point in coming top and doing your best when your reward is so little. You rank almost 3x quicker compared to the scant reward you gain. 

This game needs major changes, unfortunately 2024 will bring plenty, just not favourable ones.

So I have only done one account and that account was started January 2018. I recall it taking me a long time to rank to legend whereas there are ppl who are legend 900 now. Has xp gain been increased in recent years?

Even if battle crystals would be 5 times what they are, I would not play MM, if it was not for the missions generating augments that I can use in Pro Battles. Honestly, I would not play MM even if they paid me!

Ugh, I cant insert a screenshot for some reason. I was in a game that really shows the worst parts of the game. A smoky crusader was in our base the entire game spawn killing us and our team couldnt clear him. He went 61-9 in a short game. Took on 4 of us and emerge unscathed. The games are basically based on whether there are 9999 gs players or not. If so, the games tend to be terrible for the other players. The rest of the time the games are a lot of fun.

IDK it looks in game we can meet a lot of ingame bots.

I have a situation once again when no one is going to get our flag which was lost by the enemy and where the allies were standing very close and did not go for it but shot at the enemies who took the flag from that place anyway. Another time I lost next to an allied tank and guess what? And nothing, the flag stood there for a long time until the opponent returned it.
I've never had such situations in such obvious situations and so often - yes, there are players who don't know what to do, but I haven't had it so often

 

does anyone have similar feelings? or maybe I'm wrong and it happened before but I didn't pay attention?

I had always had the opinion that, if tanki reversed all updates till the 2014-2018  period, the game would start getting players again. But suddenly today it hit me that that won’t be possible, because with games such as mytanks and the likes, the players on those games probably wouldn’t just come back to tanki. So there really is nothing for it but to keep going forward. Tanki’s gotta attract new players instead of chasing after the old. I don’t know why it took my almost 3 years to realise this xD So I dunno where this game is headed but all the best.

Tanki has bots now.

They don't need players to fill out matches.

'Forward' is subjective.

 

In other news, about 3-4 minutes into any game, I check the gear scores of both teams. If I see that the other team's GS have bloated beyond reasonable unfairness to 'tanki-level-unfairness', I usually message my team of the uneven gear scores and recommend they leave the game and join a new, more balanced one. And then I leave the battle.

That is the current state of tanki online (in my opinion).

Yes. In MM-battles after the initial 45 seconds waiting for Jugs, flags and caps to show up, it becomes clear which team will win in between 10 to 120 seconds. Few battles will revert that trend, while most won't. So, no reason to stay in a losing team unless you need to reach the top 3 spots for a mission. In that case one has to hope that most teammates will abandon making it easier to get into the podium.

So many dirty tricks to play in a horrible environment made for buyers, just to get few augments.

True. Tanki has a way of sticking out in ur memory xD all those friends that don’t play tanki anymore, i hope i meet them again.
