Forum Ignore Feature

Hi,

 

from now on you can put other members to your ignore list, excluding some of the helpers, administrators and company employees.*

 

Q: How do I put someone to my ignore list?

A: There are actually two ways to add someone to your ignore list.

 

How to add someone to your ignore list - option A

1. Hover over someone's username and click on "Ignore User".
2. Choose what to ignore (posts, messages, signatures, mentions) and then click the "Update Preferences" button.
3. Tadaaa, you will not see that user's messages, mentions... simply what you have chosen to ignore.

 

How to add someone to your ignore list - option B

1. Click on your username in the upper right corner and then on "Ignored Users".
2. Select the player you would like to ignore and follow steps two and three from the option A.

 

How to remove someone from your ignore list and/or change ignored content

1. Click on your username in the upper right corner and then on "Ignored Users".
2. Click on settings.
3. Remove the user from your ignore list or change ignored content. Image

 

 

* that includes: Developers, Customer Support, Community Managers, Head Administrators, Forum Administrators, Chat Administrators, eSports Administrators, Battle Administrators, Forum Moderators and Forum Moderator Candidates

Signature's were basically used by Some administrators or Community Managers. You can see an example here. Do you see those links under helpers posts? Those are signatures. 

However, we don't use them/have them enabled on EN Forum.

There is not an option to hide reactions of ignored players yet.

I ignored mentions of my alternate account, SHREYA88...

I was feeling uneasy that I hadn't ignored anyone (reporter) yet, after such a wonderful feature was launched.

Now I'm happy that my ignore-list contains myself...
