Alterations:

 

Magnum

 

I.) High-Velocity Rounds: Increases the speed of Magnum's projectiles, but reduces its splash by an amount.

                                                    Projectile Speed: +30%

                                                    Splash: -30%                         (I might rethink this one, though)

 

 

II.) Pinpoint System: Increases Magnum's damage significantly, but reduces the Splash Radius by 90% (to 1.5 meters... or maybe even 1m), can (*sometimes*) one-shot heavy hulls

 

                                             Damage: +100%

                                             Splash: -90% / -95%             

                                             Reload Time: +10%       (Maybe the projectile speed could be reduced as well, so that heavier hulls also                                                                                      have a  chance of escaping)     

 

I like the concept of the first Magnum alteration. It would make it more beneficial to be a skilled player, so when you have an exact aim, it is easier to hit moving targets. You could add more projectile speed to it, to make up for the loss of splash imho.

 

To the 2nd one: I don't think that it is very playable, as the changes in numbers are too strong. It would feel like there is practically no splash damage at all. People would abuse it too by only shooting in a direct mode (100 % power and at 0° angle) to oneshot heavy tanks with double damage.

 

An fully MU'd M3 Railgun (20/20) would also get a cosmetic change, as far as it's shot is concerned. For instance, it could be a stronger orange colour or it might even be a colour close to red

Adding another cosmetic change at M3 (10/20) would result in a maximum of five color modifications.

This is similar to the idea that fully upgraded items should get a different design, Maf mentioned it is rather unlikely that it will happen.

Needles (Smoky M3 Alteration) -

Instead of critical damage, The tank will freeze in place for a short amount of time without being able to turn their turret. With the same "critical" chance.

 

+25% damage

-Critical damage bonus removed

+Critical damage bullets replaced with stun bullets

Okay,  while wrting down that idea I somehow forgot that you can also use direct fire with Magnum lol

Then another disadvantage should be the inability of using shooting angles between 0° and 60°; only parabolic shots from 60° to 90° should be possible.

 

(EDIT: Maybe 45° does the trick too)

Please give striker an armor piercing alt just like Thunder's 

 

That way I might last more than 2 seconds against just about every other turret that get's close to me. 

 

With the self damage as it is I might as well be multing for the other team against all but a few hulls on all but a few maps. -_-  :unsure:  :blink:

but scientifically and realistically it wont make it a feasible weapon, itll out sorrta crunch or bonce off of armor without a payload

Magnum alteration: shell stabilization

 

Striker alteration:

 

turn off the lock on charged shot ability, so I can just hold the button down like all the other turrets

 

Also when I push the R button I should see an alteration symbol, which is more important than knowing how many micro upgrades an enemy has.

 

Not that it matters, because every railgun, hammer, firebird, and especially twins uses alteration. Except freeze, it doesnt need an alt, it is already too op

Shaft m2's alternation worth?

If you're a camper, yes, since you can pretty much one-shot heavy hulls. One should keep in mind that destroying medium tanks is much harder than with the standard "setting" of Shaft because you have a doubled loadup

 

 

 

M2 striker alt:

Let's combine Striker with Shaft !

 

M2 Alteration (Insert Name Here): A longer loadup results in a greater damage output. 

                                                                   Salvo charge up: +33%

                                                                   Damage: +15%         # I used the M3 characteristics for those numbers, but the M2 & M4                                                                                                          levels should be balanced as well

 

 

Overall, this should help Striker to destroy Heavy Hulls. However, just like Shaft, there will always be a chance that a Mammoth / Titan will survive with a sliver of health. That's how I intended to do it anyway  :)

with the new kind of battle where a player is forced to enter in a battle, without choose it, will be nice to enter directly to the garage, after seeing the scenario, because why having so many paints? If you go to garage right now it last minutes... and the team is loosing... At least give the oppurtunity to choose what weapon and paint to use before send the tank to the "lions"!!!

I'd like to see an alteration that brings back the old Isida electric animation when shooting or healing and also an alteration for railgun with the white laser that xts used to have before becoming skins.

#1 delete the m2 altiration of isida and make the self heal comeback as m2 altiration

 

that was #1

#2 for magnum.....make the turret turning 180 degree left and right..delete the up and down turning

that was #2

#3 for striker......make the normal shot damage be high ......but make the lazer shot (4 shots ) be lower

that was #3

#4 for magnum make the turret turning up and down become 360 ......but the damage will be lower

that's all ...hope my ideas be good and balance

Shaft Alteration

 

Pro Mode - M2

 

Shots now get affected by gravity, so you'll need to aim above a target to hit it. Shots also take a bit of time to travel (They'll travel about as fast as a fully charged magnum shot) so you'll also need to shoot ahead of a moving target to hit it (Deflection Ballistics). This'll make shooting someone incredibly hard, But the damage boost is definitely worth it. You also get a cool new scope and decreased reload speed.

 

Pros

 

- Damage increased by 50%

- Reload Decreased by 10%

- New Scope

 

Cons

 

- Gravity effect applied

- Shots now take time to travel

- Skill roof raised significantly

Vulcan alternate shooting mode

 

there should be a secondary shooting mode for Vulcan where it shoots for like 2 seconds rapidly but its range is shorter
this way you'll be able to counterattack those sneaky Firebirds freezes etc because after the remake you're basically helpless if anybody gets close
I haven't really thought about stats but this is just a rough idea
:)

I have a idea of new firebird alteration Splash damage on burning tank
For example if I burn "wasp" and the wasp will runs close any other tank, damage will spread this tank too.
and this alterations negative side will be decrease range

Sounds like something that could be added as an alteration, rather than an actual feature. Developers don't want to make controls more complicated by adding any kind of "secondary fire".

no it would be simple, just tap the spacebar :)

that's why I thought of it as a feature and not an alteration

Vulcan has low damage per shot so it needs some sort of grenade launcher, mini rocket launcher or mini cannon.

isn't that a bit too much :P

Does secondary cannon make T-35, NbFz, M3 Lee, SMK, M6A1 Dreadnought, Chi-Ri or Maus OP in War Thunder? No, it does not...

 

Vulcan needs buff and I think that a secondary cannon/shotgun/launcher or whatever would be a good way to buff Vulcan.
