Well i just completed the first level on the new challenge, 1 weekly container. As far as i'm concerned my challenge is now complete because trying to get as many containers as possible from it is now a waste of time.  Is it possible for the devs to stoop any lower, of course it is, they are after all experts at it.

I openned another box today and got what:  another MK1.

When are you going to fix it?

BTW...those were suppposed to be the box to compensate for  receiving the MK1.   

Ironic, isn't it?

Look, here are the cases in which Mk1s will not be in the list of available items:

  1. You bought the Mk1 version of a hull/turret at some point of time, and then either left it like that, or upgraded it to a higher version;
  2. You got the Mk1 version of a hull/turret from one of the containers

 

EDIT: Mk1s will be available from containers if you bought the M0 version which got converted to Mk1 after the M to Mk conversion. This has now been fixed w.e.f. 21st January, 2022 (Patch Update #676).

The maximum possible number of Mk1s obtainable is 23, because Smoky, Viking/Crusader, and Hunter/Ares are available for free. Hence, even if you have 23 Mk1s in your reward-pool, getting 23 extra, free containers is more than enough to compensate for this error made by the Developers.

Suppose you bought 3 Mk7 kits for equipment which you had never bought in the Garage - then the system will think that you never had Mk1s for that equipment. Hence, your reward-pool will show 6 Mk1s (3 hulls + 3 turrets). Out of these 6, let's assume that you get 2 Mk1s from the 23 Token of Apology containers. Then, you're left with 21 containers having normal rewards! 4 Mk1s are still remaining, though, and you'll inevitably get them from containers in the future. Will those containers be wasted? No! This is because you already got 21 containers before, which is 17 containers more than the Mk1s that are remaining! 

Once you get an Mk1 from a container, it'll be removed from the list of available items.

Then how come I got two Freeze Mk1's, it's not like I have a major problem with this Mk1 issue, but yeah I would like it if it's fixed soon

First of all, that shouldn't have happened at all. Are you sure that you got Freeze twice from normal containers? It could've been an augment or shot effect for Freeze...

However, if you really did get Freeze Mk1 two times, then you definitely encountered a bug. Contact Tech Support for this: help@tankionline.com

Tanki stoops to a new low - 1000 Crystals in containers instead of 3500, lowering the amount of supplies received also. Wow. You really are getting desperate to release money, Tanki Devs... On the other hand, it'll be interesting to see what comes out of 'Ultra' (I use the term loosely, as they are far from it) containers. You can only lower the bar so much, Tanki. People will start to get fed up with your mean and stingy tricks..

@Venerable I understood everything you just posted.

Why do the devs insist that a maxed out everything 10zillion legend who never bothered wasting cry on useless MK1s would be happy to receive them now.

They were useless at the low ranks because you ranked far to quickly to get much use out of them. We all no why they are doing this and it's shameful.

I do believe most smart players would skip MK3/4 possibly MK5 as well, so can we expect these to show up at some point in containers to? 

TO has become a OP gimmick infested JOKE. They entice you to buy the latest OP item, let you get some use out of it, then nerf it.

The devs are greedy and devious and you mods are always fighting their corner, even when it's blatantly obvious that what they are doing is at best not within the spirit of the game.

The players have lost all faith in the devs ever doing the right thing. The game is dying because of their greed.  

I no longer will be attempting to complete the challenge on the silver tier, complete waste of resources and time/effort.

Those frauders robbed me of 640 000 crystals from my own 16 legends rank-ups what I din't claimed and I let theh to worse times but they transformed them into 16 new containers !!!!!!!!!!!!

Those technical support with all my clues what I added told me this : You don't get crystals as a reward now, Special mission to rank up now rewards you with 1 common container.

You had to pick up all your rewards.

They hadn't written anything about it before, so they robbed me without warning. And also. Their current policy has changed what already was. Which I am wrong is contrary to what has been given.

Incorrect or a  blatant lie. I got Mk1 shaft, gusee, hopper and more - dspite the fact that  I once bought (using just crystals) all turrets and most hulls.

I have a theory behind why some people are getting Mk1s despite having those Mk1s in their Garage already, but it's still unverified:

If you had bought the M0 version of a turret and you ended up with Mk1 after the M to Mk update/conversion, even then the system assumes that you never had Mk1, and hence you can still get it from normal containers.
Let's see, I'll get some more clarity on this. Thanks for informing me!

Re-read the patch notes and it looks like you are correct - there's nothing there about changes to rank-up rewards.

I have another theory: Over the years Tanki developers and game designers have proven to be totaly incapable of producing a game that is at the least without major flaws and when the flaws are discovered, they are not fixed for the most part.  Either because they are not willing or just because they are just plain incompentent. Take your pick. Instead of making the game better by listening to the customers, they antagonize us though Forum Moderators that serve as apologists for bordline dishonest people.  If anyone at Tanki had any integrity, they would not be working there.  Perhaps someone could explain the ALL the changes before they happen. Changes like REDUCING the DAILY MISSION AWARDS from 3 to 2, changes like giving 1 container for RANKING UP or 1 container for the daily reward for PREMIUM ACCOUNT. SO, for ranking up now you rewrad me with an MK1 item or 100 mines and Speedboost.  Because when opening containers 99.9% of the time, this is what I get! Sure on a rare occasion I may get 1,000 crystals, but come on! I guess some people are too dense to understand that forcing the customer to buy when they are content just to play the game for fun for a few hours a day or a week is not going to bring more revenue but only complaints and discontent.

I was once again playing with bots as teammates! I fall somewhere between slightly under average player and low skilled player and I still did way better than the rest of my team. If players were doing that much worse than me, then they must be bots. I was using striker mk7-8 and titan mk7-20 and level 20 brutus drone. I lost a few points throughout the battle due to self-destruction from striker's splash damage. I run into trash battles with AI teammates all the time and I know they are AI when I get first place. I don't buy and I am not good at the game and yet I still get first?

I just opened a hornet MK1 although I have a Hornet MK7-20 !

Will it be fixed eventually?

 

I am pretty sure that it is not difficult to remove MK gifts from the list of available gifts.

So let me get this straight. The augment round stabilizer of railgun was nerfed just because of the fact that it was purely designed to ignore protection modules. Am I right? 
Then if that one specialty of that augment is the whole reason why it was nerfed ( It is, the reason was mentioned in the patch update ), then what about all the other augments of freeze and hammer which were designed just similarly?

Armor piercing effect now temporarily disables protection modules during it's effect,
As a result, the Toxic Mix augment of freeze, which applies AP effect on attack, disables enemy's modules for the entire duration of the attack and hence ignoring protection. This augment should either be removed or be nerfed badly. One of the ways it can be nerfed is by removing critical damage for the augment.


Blunderbuss augment of hammer has a 50% chance of dealing a critical shot. So critical shots are likely. 
Considering the fact that destabilization augment had a nerf in turn of the critical shots it provided, and that was dealing no damage during normal shots. But here, with this augment, it can deal max hammer damage at a 20 meter radius. So this advantage, along with the 50% critical chance, along with the +70% critical damage makes this augment highly efficient i.e imbalanced.

Hope you consider this. I haven't been complaining in this section of the forum for a while now thinking this area of the forum is poorly looked into. Please change my mind.

Only some poor misguided souls named Moderators who serve as apologists for the incompetent decision makers at Tanki and even more incompetent "developers and game designers" in exchange for a few priveledges.  These are all people without any integrity looking out for themselves and not the game community.  They go as far to edit people's posts just because they think words that truly describe the aforementioned people such as "" are offensive!

It is not difficult if you are a competent programmer! Do you think Tanki programmers are competent? (Hint: have you ever seen a change (update, upgrade, etc) go smoothly?)

First I have replied to the "Questions to the developers", but maybe this forum is better, so I copy my complaint here as well:

I have just reached Fieldmarshal rank, but did not receive any crystals. I have visited the special missions section and claimed the reward, but only got a container with 100 armor boost.  

Why is that?

In the Tanki Wiki it is written that in this case I should receive 31000 crystals. Not much, but more than 0.

I posted the same observation yesterday. You will get no reply and no explanation. I have played this game for a few years before they went ot this dumb MatchMaking atrocity and I felt for 2 years shortly after that. I came back only to see that this game is even worse than before, yet we still get no explanations, no replies to our questions.  Tanki used to do a lot of underhanded things that are bordeline robberies but now they have gotten worse because they are desparet for money.  As long as that are fools willing to give them money, they will keep doing it. This is not the only change they have made that reduced the awards. Read my previous post above and you will see the pattern. Do not expect any help or sympathy from the moderators because they are just a mouthpiece for Tanki in exchange for some gifts. They are just as dishonest as anyone who is asociated with the Tanki organization.

Haven't you heard? These are the new "prizes" for ranking up - just one gold box instead of crystals. As a Legend I would get 40K, but now just one lousy box. Did I see it right that all the prizes for the daily missions are the same, regardless if mission difficulty? - one box and 50 stars.

Hey there, 

With the recent Patch Update, the rewards for rankup has been changed. Instead of giving the specific amount of crystals as it is shown in the chart, it now awards the users with 1 container each time they rank up.

This was done as to increase the ways to obtain a container, since the contents of containers went through a change.

thanks for the answer. Just to clarify if I understand it correctly: it means then that instead of 31000 crystals most probably I can get only 1000, or some boosters, which are not even close to 31000 crystals in value point of view. Great! Nice patch indeed.

Well, I suppose you are right. All the "developments" (if you can call them that way) are for forcing you to pay money. On one hand I fully understand that, on the other hand it may be a wrong approach, as at one point they will really lose all players. At that time it would be good to know that someone would be fired for this and would never get any job in game development.

Yes, now I read it. Sad. Most probably you get 1k crystals instead of 31k. It's a great swap indeed.

The rarity of the items have been changed if you look over the patch notes, or log in the game and check the rewards' region in the container section. Containers instead of giving its usual rewards now have many exclusive augments and paints that were available previously only in the Ultra containers. You have a chance to get many new items out of the container now.

Yes, I have read it, you have some little chance the get higher value prizes, but at the end of the day it still means that most probably you will get 1k crystals instead of 31k.

At least 14 of my my last 20 containers had 1k crystals in it. Then I found an MK1 Magnum, which is a great reward since I have an MK7 one, and I got some boosters. Nothing really worthy.
