You aren't alone in your observations with Shaft's camera in HTML5, others including myself have reported similar issues. They will be forwarded to developers.

 

Hornet's overdrive allows all allies to see outlines of enemies for 20 seconds or until the Hornet dies. It also has some other effects you can see on the wiki: https://en.tankiwiki.com/Overdrive

 

Could you please clarify point 9? Does your energy bar reset when a tanks spawns on your position?

I tried the HTML 5 and tbh It's really laggy I get like 20FPS in low graphics while In the game client I get 60FPS no drops with dynamic shadows and other things

HTML5 does actually need a more powerful PC than Flash. What specs are your PC?

I think that should be powerful enough to get more than 20fps but maybe not.

 

It might be worth trying to see if hardware acceleration is off by following the guide here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=382518

Which browser are you using?

 

Usually this error disappears when you reload the game, have you tried that?

I now get much more fps now around 50fps when I turned on hardware acceleration, Thanks so much! Tanki has came a long way since 2014 wow!

Try opening task manager. Press Control + Alt + Delete, then select "Task manager"

 

Except for Google Chrome, any apps that take up a lot of your CPU and memory should be ended. Make sure it's apps and not "background processes", because, if it's background processes, and you close one, you could crash your computer. 

 

You could also run code snippets to see if your browser allows WebGL2 here. If any of them say "supported", and the new HTML5 version doesn't load then, then idk

 

P.S I keep getting "server connection closed" errors on the Flash client, and I have to use the Flash client to film content for a video, but it won't let me play. It has come 4 times in the last 10 minutes. I tried re-entering the game but no luck. What should I do?

Could be a few different issues then, I would suggest you first download Opera and see if it works there, that way we'll know if its a Chrome issue or something else.

Not particularly good advice. If lack of resources was an issue its unlikely that this error would occur, the game would load and run extremely slowly instead.

The link I posted above is a better method for checking WebGL2 support.

First ensure nobody else has your password, sometimes this error happens when someone else is logging into your account from a different location. Once you have changed your password if the issue isnt solved, try clearing your cache: How to clear cache of Tanki Online client

It needs to be a direct link ending in .jpg or .png.

 

You'll need to select the option to copy direct link from the context menu when you right click the image.

Currently there are 3 desktop versions of the game:

• Flash Juggernaut avalible 
• Old HTML5 Juggernaut NOT avalible 
• New HTML5 Juggernaut avalible 

On mobile Jugg is NOT avalible.

 

I don't know if this is due to HTML, but 1 of my missions is to finish 2 battles in Juggernaut. In MM there is no option to play Juggernaut.

How am I supposed to do this ?

Well now Juggernaut is available on Mobile see today's  Mobile Patch Update - Released 25th October 2019

I don’t like that long range turrets are becoming more and more powerful. And that with OD it’s really frustrating to use short range turrets.

 

Short range turrets were fun to use in the past.

 

It doesn’t make sense what you’re doing and at the same time you want players playing on their phones.

either youre fibbing about your specs or you copy and pasted specs from a web site lolol because with specs like that 60fps is a breeze!

The battle entry problem is getting VERY old.

You click to enter a battle (assault and rugby are the worst) and you wait (and wait) for the game to load.

When the screen comes up and says "loading", you wait (and wait, and wait) and wait some more as the progress bar CRAWLS across the bottom of the screen.

 

Might as well quit Tanki now.  You're never going to see the battle because it's the "battle entry" bug.  It's faster to close the window and log back in than to wait for Tanki to finish its thrashings.  (Or, as I often do, just quit Tanki and go do something else because who needs this kind of headache?)

 

The weird thing about this is that apparently you ARE sometimes put in a battle.  You just can't SEE anything but the loading screen.

 

This bug has been around as long as matchmaking and is probably just another one of its malfunctions.

 

(For the record, Matchmaking SUCKS!)

HTLM5 has had zero issues with entering a battle.

I'm not very desperate about this new HTML version but I'd like to try it.

 

P.S. I usually play on the old HTML version but I tried to play in the flash version because of JGR and had a lot of lag.

I reduced my lags on the flash version and unfortunately my old HTML version started to have a lot of lag.

From 30-50 fps now i have a maximum of 25 fps and a lot of lag

What should i do?

I don't like the flash version because of controls.

This is the issue, WebGL2 must be enabled. There are multiple things that can cause it to be disabled. Try the following:

 

Update your Chrome Browser

Update your GPU drivers

 

Once you have done that:

 

Go to chrome://settings.

At the bottom of the page, click Show advanced settings...

Under System, make sure the box next to Use hardware acceleration when available is checked. If it isn't, check it now.

Try loading the game again.

 

If the box is already checked or the game still doesn't load after checking it:

 

Let me know how that goes, If you dont know how to update your drivers/chrome please use Google, it will do a much better job explaining how to do it than I can.
