Can confirm, HTML5 doesn't load.

Ummmmm kind of a harsh April Fools joke...HTML won't load.  Like Bydo already said, the loading bar just keeps grinding away with no actual loading.

HTML5 is not working, but now Flash is working; wasn't working for me before.

Good job.

The Developers became aware of the situation almost immediately, and the problem appears to be fixed (as of now). Please check again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi;

I have an issue in HTML5 after it finally loaded, I couldn't leave my old group. Despite the fact that my friends have been offline for hours, I don't have a leave group key. HTML5 does not let me enter any battles. This happens even after I refresh the page multiple times. Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/rqkmvt

Please tell me I am wrong, and I can leave my group!

In the HTML5 version, leaving the group is a bit more hidden. To leave, you need to click on your nickname (in the top left corner of the screen), and some choices will pop up, including one that says "Leave group." Click this button, and you should be good to go.

Thanx!

Although it should likely be made more visible. Do devs plan on changing it?

I don't believe so, but if enough people communicate their problems with this method in this topic, it is possible it could change in the future.

Perhaps your Chrome settings are messed with. Personally, I can't run the HTML5 Browser version, as I have my Chrome settings configured to warrant eSports livestreaming. I will explain the steps I do, in order to get it work, and maybe this is the same problem you are having:

  1. Click the 3 dots icon at the top right corner of your Chrome browser
  2. Click the "Settings" button
  3. Click the "Advanced" button
  4. Click the "System" button
  5. Make sure the switch for "Use hardware acceleration when available" is shifted to the right (and is the color blue)

Currently, I have my switch in this place turned off (the color is grey) because I need to do so in order to stream a specific aspect. This could be the same problem for you, so I would advise you to check. If that doesn't work, please fill out a customer service ticket, and someone will try to help your problem.

I have this switch already on even before you guys went to HTML5.  It does not make a difference.  I am just using the HTML client like I am using the Flash client because it worked much better than the browser version.  I am just hoping that they will make the setting to be the same as in the Flash version.  For example: the HTML version does not give you an option to add additional keyboard keys for supplies and OD.  The OD defaults to Left Shift and the supplies default to the numbers and not to the numeric keypad so I have to change it manually. We cannot have them set to both like in the Flash version.  It maybe a nuance , but I was wondering why it was not made the same.

They are planning on adding lots of new features into the HTML5 client, so be on the lookout for new features. If you have an idea for a new feature that should be added, feel free to post it in this topic.

I noticed a bug in Juggernaut mode where my Overdrive progress was brought to zero after i became the juggernaut. If i remember correctly, my overdrive status before and after becoming the juggernaut should have been the same, but this was not the case.

This is an error, it will be noted on the first page of this topic.

Also, while playing in DM Gubakha, an error occurred where i had to reload the web-page. After re-joining the battle, my mammoth overdrive's progress was back to zero.

This is the same as in the Flash client. It is annoying, but no fix (such as compensating the user who had an error with keeping their Overdrive progress) has come to either version yet. Maybe this could come in the future?

Please try using the HTML5 Browser version of the game, rather than the HTML5 Client. The HTML5 Client is only in its first testing phases, and so it has lots of issues with it, that need to be resolved. Until a public announcement that the HTML5 Client is "ready for prime time," I would suggest not using this platform of the game.

I have noticed that Hammer deals damage a bit late after firing, please fix that.
Also an opinion to change the Hornet's overdrive because in HTML 5 version we're already having a radar... So why hornet's overdrive as a radar if we're having on

HTML5 bug report:

  1. The land-cracks are not shown: proofs are the wasp bomb that has no trace after explosion and the magnum shells leaving no idea whether there is a mine form mortar alt or not, making me to always detonate them. even the mines themselves have no trace after detonation. and all other shell-turrets have no trace.
  2. The anti-cheat system in HTML5 makes me self-destruct after joining battle or during the battle and leaving me no idea of why I have lost my turret's damage.

these issues were not listed,

At the start of most of my game I kill myself, and I don't even press delete. In addition, most of the time at the start of the game, I do no damage. → In these two cases, I have to restart the game. I have been playing for 7 years, and I have been supporting this for 7 years.

Memory leak on Chrome

Every time you join a battle memory usage increases by ~0.5 GB.

Joining an empty private battle increases memory usage by ~0.3 GB.

When you leave or finish the battle the used memory is not freed.

When you are close to running out of memory in your system the game start to lag and stutter.

When you run out of memory in your system the browser crashes.

A workaround is to reload the game tab every few battles.

Similar issue. After a few battles, going back to garage freezes the whole pc.

However, when I disabled the swap memory in my pc, the problem never occurred.

For those who want to get more FPS in the HTML5-Client, there's a way to do so!
Keep in mind: The following tipp just affects the HTML5-Client, not the browser version of Tanki Online!

1) Right click the client icon on your desktop.

2) Choose properties.

3) You have too add something now: It says TankiOnline.exe" at the end. Then you have to hit your spacebar once and add: <<-disable-frame-rate-limit>>. I will also show you a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/rurz4u. Now, all you have to do is hit apply and reset your HTML5 client.

What does this gives you: If your moniter is 60 Hz (144 Hz, etc.), but your computer could still get more FPS than your monitor would allow due to the progamming of the HTML5 client, then you were stuck at 60 FPS (144 FPS). Now, since you changed the properties for the client, you'll be able to get unlimited FPS basically, although your monitor is still at a specific refresh-rate 60 Hz (144 Hz, etc.) The game will be more smooth now!

Hey, I've recently switched from the Flash client to HTML5 client and I have noticed quite a bad bug with Magnum on my alt accounts.

Occasionally (it seems to happen once or twice almost every match I've played on HTML5 client) I have noticed that some shots (even direct strikes where the enemy tank is fully affected by impact force as if it was a direct strike) have no damage recorded whatsoever, despite the fact that I can even be injured by the splash damage myself. This is NOT the spawn protection, a "0 damage" number does not appear, the shots simply don't seem to register in the game whatsover. It is also not lag, I never encounter this problem when playing on the flash client, or with other turrets, my connection is good and this literally seems to happen every game at least once or twice that I've played with magnum. I am also not missing, I am very used to using magnum and playing other players with lag, for instance in a rugby game I played earlier a player was pressing up against me with the rugby ball - I fired at point blank range and injured myself but they took no damage at all, and went on to score.

This is very annoying, for now I'll have to use flash for playing Magnum is this is a real problem - can be easily reproduced, just play a few games with Magnum and it will almost certainly happen to you in 5-10 games, happens for me every game.
