Balancing the game is a lot harder than it may seem. There have been numerous major changes to the turrets, hulls and paints over the past few years and we all have different opinions about them. Equipment parameters will continue to be adjusted in the future as well, since various new updates affect popularity and usability of certain guns. This topic has been created so that players can express their opinions about the way game balance is at the moment and how it should be improved.

I'm sure many of you have noticed as well. I don't know WHAT tanki did to the firebird, but it is rediculously over powered now. I can't even play on DM anymore cause it's nothing but FIREBIRDS. De-op the firebird! In the tanki v-log once, they said that the Hornet was every-other-hull. Well now the firebird is every-other-turret!! Idk what it's like for you liuetenants and Generallisimo's, but it is MURDER for warrant officers, and lower. Sorry if this goes to as a rant, but it is a rant. I am so sick of the firebird, I just wanna break it in half. What do you guys think?

uh ok so u hate firebird....if u think its OP just buy it coz its m1 is cheap and then u will enjoy the so-called OP turret......

P.S. some say it is OP and some say its not.....personally i dont give a damn. its a normal turret to me -_-

I don't think you guys quite understand the situation. It's not just that I don't like it, it's that there are so many, and the damage is too high. I was up against seven firebirds on a DM map of ten today. I am just begging that Tanki does something about this huge problem.

Use freeze, get protection against firebird and use a strong turrent and hull (mammoth). Go in team battles and ask for a pocket isida and play in big maps

It indeed deals massive damage, but it's reload time is a big disadvantage. When you play with it, you'll experience that once you're out of ammo, you're a rather easy prey due to the reload time.

Rank up get freeze m2 kit or get freeze m2 at wo5, then firebird wont be a problem

I'm in agreement that it has it's reload disadvantages, but regardless Ii'm fed up with them as well because, dare I say it: Drugging. It seems like the Firebird+Wasp kit is the universal "Allow me to shoot up on EVERYTHING before going into battle EVERY SINGLE TIME" package, all I have to do is see that kit and I know that's hat their strategy is, which is so noobish at my rank it nearly ruins Tanki for me. Since when was the object to abuse powerups and suicide into a group of tanks all round long? I hope they fix it like they did Shaft.

yeah, it's pretty over powered at warrant officer ranks, i used to be 1st in every DM i played when i was a warrant officer.

firebird is a good turret but there are many ways to outrun it, you'll learn give it some time :)

Fire is strong as others weapon. U just need a paint. I'm not sure freeze can resolve your problem, the rotation speed of fire is high. If you are so stressed go play in long range map with long range weapon for a bit! ;)

There are three guns I believe are grossly overpowered. These guns are so over powered one who is three ranks below me can easily kill me. I have no defense against these guns in the hands of lower ranks, and this is why I call these guns “In house cheats”

On the top of my hit list is the Flame thrower. The m1 seems to have normal damage power, but the m2 is grossly overpowered. So much so that if a flame touches me for a mere one second, I will slowly cook to death. This overpowered gun can kill wreck three tanks at a time. A little major can easily kill me. I don‘t see how this is fair. Many of  a game has been ruined because of this “in house cheat“

Next on the list are the M2 Twins. These weapon are so overpowered that a Lt Col. Can pound the hell out of me and kill me in less than five seconds. There is no defense against this gun either. Funny thing though: I look at the stats in the garage, and the numbers don’t seem to reflect the power of this gun.

The hammer, too is overpowered,  with no mods, it starts at a whooping 76.7 for kill power. And then to make it worst, reload time before mod out is only 2.04 seconds. I don’t think this is fair. Overpowered and with a 2.04 second reload?! Ridiculous!

Some will make comment/suggestions that I think are dumb.

They might say: by a certain paints that will protect you from x gun. Really? Then I would be valuable to the other guns. And further more…. Who (except those who buy crystals) would be that rich?

Some might say buy a heavier tank. Again - also dumb. How many are rich enough to start from scratch with a new tank and still maintain the guns they own?!
 

Or someone might suggest buying one of these guns…..Again who would be rich enough to buy another gun from start from scratch?

 

These dumb comments will irritate me. Please pause and think before you post.

I would like to know if anyone else but me are complaining about these “In House Cheats”

Get paints on a sale. They're not too expensive, and anybody who saves crystals for a good sale can easily get it. I'd recommend Loam and Urban. (MU them)

I'm guessing your a rail and hornet user for the turrets you have a problem with. Twins, fire and hammer are great for medium (with adequate cover) and small maps.

 

medium maps (with little cover) or large maps, you should be killing them all before they get to you.

 

not directed at you because i dont know but personally, i find it irritating when someone is using a gun totally mismatched to a map (only if they are on my team), if your team is dominating, you may get away with it otherwise you are a weak link.

 

an m0 turret on a map that suits it can be more usefel then an m3 that shouldn't be there. Some people just refuse to accept that their turret, they spent time and crystals on is useless on certain maps.

 

someone already stated about paints, they make a huge difference and again depending on the map, the turrets you are likely to meet, your paint is important. Storm, magma , swamp are cheap paints, if your main problem is a guy with hammer then get a cheap paint to offer some protection. No point having an expensive paint if no one is using the turret it protects you from.

 

In your garage you should have at least, a medum hull and a large/medium map turret with a medium/small map turret. To give you the best choice of maps. Dont have to be a buyer to achieve that, instead of getting m3 and limiting yourself, you would be able to upgrade a new one to m2. Then when you have a proper garage, aim for an m3.

 

Whether you like it or not, the higher you rank battle choices become fewer, if you only have the one combo to pick from things will become very difficult.

As with guns fitting the map…I’ve notice that some guns work better on some maps than others.

But as one who can not buy crystals, I can have only two guns (not counting my smoky, for which I don’t use)  and afford the upkeep. Even with only two guns I have financial problems. And then there the upkeep on my track, on top of my guns. No one who doesn’t buy crystals can afford a gun that’s suitable for many maps.

And the same  goes for my track, too. I have only one track because I cant afford another one and upkeep that one on top of all my other expenses.

So you can be annoyed all you want on in a game with mismatch guns because the reality is the same for most Tanki gamers as it is for me. We only have the crystals we earn in game.

UM……yes it does make them overpowered if I have no chance to defend myself and if someone who is three ranks below you can easily kill me.

 

That’s the very definition of Overpowered……..
 

This is the type of post I complained about in my opener post.
