I've asked 2. a couple times already.

One possibility is the smoky regular damage is lowered whenever a "special hit" is delivered.

But they need to be more specific.

One thing to note on recent update - compared to stock, I find Assault round much better.  The 200% increase in velocity is pretty much an instant hit.  Went 13-1 in a rugby game on Polygon with almost no misses.  Sure it's not a large map, but it just seems away more accurate.  If the diff in critical was a wider margin I might think differently.  But Normal vs Crit is not huge.  Would rather hit on more shots than.... make a miss on that Crit.

I saw that the end of Isida's beam that attaches to the enemy is blue now.

  • «Rubberized Rounds» — adding ricocheting shells that may hit enemies and even deal critical damage after ricocheting. However, the maximum number of ricochets is limited and shell speed is decreased.

Can we get actual factual information, this wording is a mockery to the higher intelligible part of the TO community.

From my testing currently, ALL smoky shot's ricochet. They need a large incident of angle to do so.

RubbRounds does NOT increase any bounces, Just reduces the minimum incident angle to 5 degrees.

I now understand why it's the only one that is an actual bundle, because it is an utter mistake of an existence, who even wants to play ricocheting shots around a corner forever.

Unfortunately my luck, being as bad as it is, got it in Ultras :D

Smoky Autocanon enjoying the bounce at 80+ degrees of incidence angle.

ezgif.com-gif-maker_30.gif

Smokey RR Bouncing once only at the stock minimal incidence angle.

ezgif.com-gif-maker_31.gif

Now please, correct me if I'm wrong,or tell us it's a bug. BUT, to not disclose that these shots ricochet, a bit like vulcan? Whilst RR doesn't even have an additional bounce? It would be a meme to even use RR unless you don't have anything better at all and want easy ricocheting shots with a slower projectile.

Information is power, please share information in a much better way.

This is an insult to players that actually care for knowing the correct and full information.

My overview on XT skins.

My general perspective of how XT skins should look is in my opinion they should all be remade in HD. XT skins have old and outdated crappy graphics that resembles Tanki Online's old graphics from 2012/2015. That's bad for today's Tanki Online of 2021.

All XT skins should always remain in Tanki Online as usual. The only thing is that all XT skins needs to be refurbished in HD. In other words XT skins should become "XT HD". Once the new XT skins are re-released in HD form, they would replace the existing old XT skins and players will get to keep their earned XT skins, meaning that players will have new and updated XT skins in HD in their garages.

All XT HD skins will have to have a vibrant gold appearance. The golden XT HD skins will have to cover part of the hull and turret with gold metallic plates. Just think of that cool looking Golden Gun from the James Bond movie Dr. No. That's the sort of XT HD skins that I am talking about.

From now on, I have removed and stopped wearing all my XT skins because they have old and outdated graphics that are inferior to the new better looking HD skins that are available so far for Smoky and Hornet. I really like the look of the HD skins with the silvery metallic appearance that looks like aluminium. Since aluminium looks pure silver, so XT HD skins will have to have a pure gold appearance, rather than a smudged yellow appearance with fuzzy blocky plates.

Please can you developers listen to my suggestion and turn all XT skins into XT HD skins for all turrets and hulls, including for terminator and juggernaut as well.

They just barely turned one turret and one hull into HD......

It's gonna take them a while before they ever reach XT skins. Based on the rate that they're refurbishing the default skins, I believe we'll have to wait until 2022 for the XT HD skins.

Then again, the developers can be biased once again and just make HD skins for Thunder, Railgun, and Viking. Afterwards, instead of working on all the other turrets and hulls like they should, they'll skip all of them and go ahead making XT HD skins for Thunder, Railgun, Viking, and Hornet.

And then the aforementioned equipment would have SIX skins in total, while stuff like Freeze only has 2.

Actually Rubberized Rounds causes the projectile to bounce two times.

Also, I honestly think Smoky (as well as Vulcan) didn't need a ricochet ability for their default modifications. It was an unnecessary "buff" for turrets that already performed well in the game. Plus, it makes Ricochet kinda obsolete.....

It's fine having a bouncing projectile alteration for Smoky and Vulcan, but the default versions didn't need it.

1. The "animation - new shot effects and projectile mechanics" is for Smoky.

2. Whatever damage you dealt with the cryo and incendiary alt critical hits....just got further reduced by 25%. (I think)

  • Idk exactly, i never tried out those alts.

From all angular tests I did, I only saw a single bounce, unless you can provide visual evidence and a certain angle for me to test it out, I'll take it as is.

Well, I don't have visual evidence, but I did see this:

Even if that projectile bounce +1 existed, we need flexible angles in MM to perform well w/ RR, a tight or a low angle where the shot would bounce wouldn't help us at all kill a enemy.

Sorted ammunition might get a bit op I think, players’d just fire every three shots after getting a crit and shoot the enemy again with another crit(mostly camper smokys tho)

I have you tried that? To my knowledge the shot count only if you hit an enemy tank. If you shoot in the void, it would not increment.

I think they should allow users to buy Electromagnetic Salvo for Gauss instead of making it available only thru Ultra containers, which you could buy an endless supply of them and never get it. Or the Gauss XT skin for that matter.

Nope was just a thought, are you positive tht it needs to hit a target to get the next crit??

if i wasn't wrong the critical hit penalty is removed so you do these alts reduce critical damage and burn\freeze targets

Not sure if anybody was concerned/didn't know this, but I figure it's worth saying. THe paralyze augments round for Smoky does apply the stun effect, but you do NOT drop a flag/ball. You simply cannot move.

Then what's the point?  Cryo would be way better as it lasts longer.

On the subject of smoky augments - can someone clarify what damage is actually nerfed for cryo and incendiary?  They do not have critical hits though the WIKI (and webpatch notes) indicate the "critical" damage is getting a nerf.

I never tried out the two alts...

But I think, originally, the alts' critical hits did the same damage as a normal, non-critical smoky hit.

And now, that normal damage is further reduced by 25%.....I think?

The damage is evidently not reduced.

Their damage is not reduced. Devs with their mysterious did not explain anything about the Smoky change in mechanics for Smoky. We don't have enough information to know exactly what is a bug and what is intended.
