Yeah but in order to get a new drone and augments you need crystals or tankoins which you can earn them from playing but... But who has time for that? Isn't it easier just to buy some crystals and tankoins from the shop ?

In conclusion : bad update which  forces you to change your garage  = more money for them 

 

I really hope  this update is a prank cus otherwise many other people will leave this game

By the way, as I already said, those were clearly placeholder stats.

Someone wanting to create a serious and informative video would have waited for today's Update, reading the patch notes and analyzing the situation. 

 

But we all know that fishing for views is easy, and after 10 years this has become nothing more then a mobile game for children, so I can't blame that content creator too much.

Yes they were placeholders, but all damages are lowered now. We are going to rely on Critical Damage. And they are adding a Crit module in Ultra Containers.

But we currently have (for Railgun)

50% Crit chance with applied status effect AND increased damage (1600) that ignores any protection.

 

This is insane and not viable, and I am afraid that every Turret will be changed just like Railgun.

They have 10% crit chance and standard damage only because no augments for them are available yet.

God I hope this is some giant April Fools Joke, and on April 1st, this update will be removed.

First off, I want to point out that adding this update to the game will ruin Smoky for good. Smoky's critical damage was what made Smoky unique, different to other turrets in the game, and if you look at Smoky's Augments, more than 50% of Smoky's Augments are benefiting its critical damage. Giving that critical ability to every other turret will make Smoky insignificant, not really special.

This same exact scenario, in my opinion, happened with Firebird, when the Devs decided to add Alterations that deal fire damage. Players didn't feel the need to use Firebird anymore since they can burn stuff with other turrets now. What made Firebird special was its ability to burn enemies, no other turret could do that. Another interesting thing to point out is the fact that after Fire Alts became a thing, that's when the burn damage became severely ruined, and many changes had to occur to make in decent but still absolute crap. Now we have things like Fire Immunity and Incendiary Bands. 300 damage a second is still a pain.

Smoky is going to end up having the same fate as Firebird.

Probably worse, cause for Smoky, it suddenly gets 13 critical damage turret competitors in one update.

Thanks you have ruined the game even more.... by the way if this crit update turns out to be and I see it has a lot of negatives to it, I'm legit quitting.... I REALLY HOPE THIS UPDATE IS A BIG FAT  APRIL FOOLS JOKE....

Well practically, if I'm reading this upfatae6 correctly, it will become better as Smoky's new critical damage will ignore Smoky modules. So it's not all bad.

Well, if I'm reading this update correctly, Hornet will not only give the player the ability to AP other people's armor, but it will also allow them to have a 100% chance to hit a critical shot as well.

Here comes the armies of Hornet and dictator....Although Hornets been my default hull even before these descriptions listed for update.

Is it only me or everytime Tanki posts a new update its life span gets shorter. Lets talk about Critical Updates . THAT IS TOTALLY NOT NEEDED. Especially if it takes 4 millions crystals for Mk7 to Mk8 which is like maxing 2-3 drones. I swear Tanki is just getting more greedy and greedy . We have to do something . All non buyer's will leave if buyers just dominate MM with this .

I have 4 main accounts. I got this one "EmeraldCat345" but I have one that literally specializes in Smoky(Autocannon) and Dictator. So, that account specifically is gonna have some awkward changes.

Main driver for this % critical damages it to sale a new protection module and more Augment.

But more likely when damage start to be all the same, then there is new opportunity to introduce new mechanics that can be also sold for €. I am thinking about armour plate on the tank hull that will have increased armor and other that have less armor (e.g. side and back), this of course would beneficiate those who can pay and not wait. Seems like new mechanics innovation is now purely to sustain a stained cash flow regardless of the gameplay: it creates a temporary advantage for a certain amount of time until the introduction of a new powerful mechanics that render everything else obsolete. :rolleyes:

for me I'm going to wait and see how it will work. right now my issue is Mammy and it's zapper thing is OP. it wont even freeze when you use Hornets OD.

the only thing I'm pleased with this new changes are that they did not touch Ricochet ( for now).
