Tesla in the Garage and new augments

Think you misunderstood my question. What I meant was what if they are too low of a rank for you to play with.

Oh yeah, Firebird is beyond dead now lol.

 

First Heat Immunity, then outclassed by Isida, then outclassed by Tesla, and now outclassed by Freeze and a RANGE NERF.

 

Freeze would've been dead too but what the heck is with its 5x critical damage??? Also, new freezing effect was honestly just done so Cold Immunity would be more worth using in my opinion.

It's hardly worth using cold immunity right now. Your speed during the freezing is still fast and I barely feel the turret rotation speed decrease.

Don't forget the other freeze-based augments for other turrets and Shock Freeze though O_O

And overdrives.

How is Firebird outclassed by Isida.  They bumped it's critical to x3.  Isida is still x1

And with stun, EMP and AP status effects, who uses HI anymore?

Firebird now has x2 critical, although 20% chance for it. But Firebird and Freeze now have a hideous 15 yard range - having tried it I have to say I hate the new range. I don't know why that was changed, it is painful to use TBH.

And the fact that Isida's base DPS is still higher than Firebird's....

And the other fact that Firebird still has a Hull Augment (Heat Immunity) that acts against it while Isida doesn't :(

Sure, other status effects keep people from using Heat Immunity, but the Augment is still there for anyone to equip.

Maybe you are just a good player :P The thing is though, very few people have Tesla protection right now. With my 41% against Tesla, I'm personally not finding enemy Teslas much of a problem - unless they are 9999s.

It takes alot of skill to master. I think its among the top 3 of being the hardest turrets to use.

If you need 41% damage reduction to specifically deal with a turret, it is already a very good indicator of that particular turret is OP.

They're the same status. Cryo Railgun is garbage. Cryo Smoky is no longer as good as before the change, Shock Freeze is a damage dealer now and not a status applier like it was before.

I also have protections against many of the other popular turrets. I mean, given that I have protection whereas most others players don't - I am not finding Tesla a particular problem to face so far. If I am using 40% against Magnum and 40% against Tesla, I am not finding the Tesla guys harder to deal with. Haven't been playing against the Tesla hordes for that long yet - but that's my experience so far.

Other players - unlike me - have protection against all the other turrets but not Tesla, and I think that is part of the reason why it seems so strong. Take a look at @Tanker-Arthur's screen shot above - not a single player in the enemy team using Weasel.

Doesn't seem to work for Vikings OD, well except maybe for doubled damage. Maybe it was intentional this way?

Lol, I don't have any protection, probably won't need it depending on what its like in the high ranks.

Well if was just one time in a row, I would say you got lucky, try doing that 5 battles in a row.
