Honestly, i have never seen any emp firebird in the game lol, i was wondering if they created this augment specially for this challenge, then i wiki'ed it and saw it already exist, weird move from them to give it but thanks too xD i wish they could have saved the emp augment for the freeze (next challenge) but anyways, thats a very juicy challenge!

I guess next time we will get either jammer or stun freeze (i am a huge freeze user)

It exists, and the reason I am shocked is that it is very powerful in MM, and they gave it in the challenges without any nerf to it.

I think the fast reload combustion kind of nerfed it indirectly, like you have no ammo fast, so you need to recharge and the emp is already done (i think) maybe paired with dictator OD it will be very good lol

I got EMP Freeze from an Ultra Container a while ago, and if EMP Firebird is the same template with a different turret, it’ll be the worst EMP augment (relatively speaking, because if it has EMP it’s automatically powerful of course). 
EMP Freeze is very rng-dependent, and I’ve had moments where my entire clip is basically just a stock freeze with a lower cooling rate. I imagine Firebird would be the same but with a smaller clip.

I've fought against 2 EMP Firebirds. One was a little unmaxed and the other was a sweat. With a meta drone of course, the potential is high with the augment, but also, EMP Immunity and a Fox module does mitigate it quite a bit. If you don't have EMP Immunity then you're in for a bit of trouble.

the only problem is i'll have a double blanked tiers again. i already own cold resistance and high pump pressure, and as long as i am not fan of LC skins (sorry old players) i may refrain from this pass
