I wonder how good the DPS is when compared to Vulcan. 

I often use Vulcan with Reinforced aiming transmission / Dictator Heat Immunity... I could use Turbo Twins and equip another Hull augment like EMP or AP, without worrying of overheating.

Also, it should be powerful with Dictator's OD, not the same as Vulcan but surely pretty good.

It’s like a worse Vulcan because of the shorter range and harder aiming.

twins turbo? what a good job they decide to add this into the challenge. I was expecting it to be fire twins, ice twins or emp twins. At least these three are USEFUL.

I had this aug(twins turbo. yes i bought the bundle. Foolish isn't it) for a long time but the only thing that it can do in battle field is to scare(amuse) ur enemy by how "USELESS" it is.

Interesting, I can't wait to test it out then.

 

I must say, I rarely see Turbo Twins in battles and when I do, they don't to much. Maybe a Crit chance increase could improve it.

Only useful when using dictator or hornet. Yes we rarely see turbo is not just because no one owns it, but because it is really really useless. 60 damage per shot, 340 with critic, 9% critic chance. with a module, 30 per shot. Really GREAT damage indeed.

Well, it does have a good point, that it is kind of annoying to ur enemy.

Oh, and it does not have much impact force.

Yes. The coolest aug for twins. I will get the BP despite having the paint and not giving a f about ugly Prime skins... whis it was Ultra

Mk7+ Vulcan normal DPS is 733. 

Mk7+ PTA Twins normal DPS is ~460. 

 

The upside for Twins is a relatively higher critical hit rate, potential splash damage application and prolonged fire without statistical downside. The upside for Vulcan is higher burst damage at the start of an engagement, higher sustained damage, ability to ricochet off of some obstacles, high vertical auto-aim and prolonged fire (12 seconds should be more than enough usually). 

 

The ball is in Vulcan's court for the most part. PTA is statistically weak. If they really wanted it to be powerful on launch, the would have given it -30% normal damage per shot. If they want to be reasonable, they would put it to -50% normal damage per shot.

I am just completing this challenge for the sake of the new Twins augment and nothing more, 

also the UFO paint doesn't look that bad

Side note: It would be better if complete the XT/LC skins first in the Bp rather than PR or UTs

I agree with you but let's say "yo who remembers when they removed skin containers from the challenge and they added nuclear energy instead of it" anyway does anybody know what they might add next challenge?

No information of the sort comes beforehand, just on the day before the release of the next BP (last day of the ongoing challenge), the Challenges wiki (EN, DE etc.) gets updated and we come to know only at that instant.

I hope they add hornet XT or wasp XT or legacy it doesn't matter but I just have wasp m4 but unfortunately I don't have hornet m4, my hornet is 15 out of 20 but my wasp is 20 out of 20, they didn't add wasp legacy to the challenge before 

Let's hope for a good skin!

Actually i met one turbo and was difficult to handle , got most of the kills in his team  ; he turbo shot  from far and got quite the kills . guess in certain maps can be something

I am playing with Turbo Twins, and to me it does not seem weak at all. It's quite powerful with all those 300/600+ crits, and the speed and range of the projectiles is amazing. 

It also 100% matches my playstyle so that also helps. 

 

Only one thing, it's useless vs Armadillo, but it's the only downside I can find so far.

di dnot meet people with it except for one, or maybe i did not notice , cant really get if it0's good or not , i could take the bpass  as soon as i finish the challenge.
@NikmanGT  did you try it and can perhaps do a minireview before challenge ends?

I also posted some results in Picture of the Day. 

 

It's not as powerful as EMP Twins or other broken augments, but it does its job well and its fun to use.
