It wasn't free - the support staff paid for you with their time and resources. Now you can skip the intermediary step and delay and have the change done immediately, but now since the step in between is gone, you have to pay.

We more asked for a reason to actually buy clans like clan missions, so not really. U still spend 30 dollars to just get a tag.

Ok, but u still get nothing from owning or being in a clan...just a tag. At least if we had some special missions in which the whole clan would have to contribute or special paint like we have with premium would make it way better.

I agree, it would be cool and motivate more people to buy clan licenses

Also some stuff like changing ownership of a clan is overpriced imo, but my main issue is the fact clans are still pretty much useless for average players.

Well look at it from a wider perspective: at least now you can do it. This update brings what players have been asking for years. The update is here, maybe the prices can be tweaked at a later stage. Didn't they say they will make the Battle Pass more cheaper than ever before? So who knows

True, things change radically in TO all the time. Just it all feels like its for nothing when there is no reason to buy clans in the 1st place. Look at Clash of clans for example...they have "clan games" system where members do tasks and everyone has to contribute for great rewards. Why not have that in TO and give stuff like crystals, supplies, tankoins, golds or premium...maybe even special paints. This would make clans WAY better instantly.

Actually is there any lists for the flags of the clan system that list all the flags clearly? I cannot find it on wiki. I want to change the flag of my clan but I cannot see the flags clearly as they are too small. Therefore I don't know which one I should choose

Just who is gonna spend that much money on clans as its just a tag, there should be benefits to being in a clan if we are paying so much to make such simple changes

Why can I not buy new slots for more members? Another player has it, but I don't see it. My Clan currently has 12/12 members.

 

Update: I just saw that only the Clan Owner can buy new Slots.

Please change this. Commanders aka Co-Leaders of the Clan should be able to help the leader buy slots as well.

500 tankoins for each slot is okay, changing clan ownership could be 1.5k tankoins. 1500 tankoins for changing clan tag/name is highly overpriced. Good update but small changes have high pricing.

Keep dreaming xD. Earlier we could change ownership through support, now they take 3k tankoins for just that support. In fact changing tag would take 1500 tankoins? Ridiculously expensive.

I know. Its crazy to price clan modifications with such high expenses. Developers should somehow make clans better for everyone. The prices sucks though.

i dont think this fee of 3000 tankoins is near as well acceptable for just a simple thing as clan ownership change, its nothing gamechanging right. besides these devs allow change of nickname for 2000 tankoins whereas other games give it a free option or an affordable price on first time...

and in between that, they find other ways to get people to buy tankoins buy changing clan names, the rascals. 

making something affordable once in a while would be better in my opinion

I was thinking about making my own topic but hopefully the devs can read my suggestion right here and maybe the helpers can forward this suggestion to them , it would be more interesting to be in a clan if you could battle other clans, custom games in which only clans can battle each other and have a leaderboard where they can strive to be the best and most skillful clan eventually going into esports level.

maybe even have viewers spectate the battle. links could be posted in a separate chat tab called "clan battles" for players to view. 

Just like we have a ratings page there should be stats on how many clan battles one has won/ lost. 

I have one more suggestion for clans. One can be the option to talk to clan mates while in battle with a /clan or similar feature. The color of the chat can be changed. This way they can easily tell them why they want to invite them to battles instead of just sending an invite, this feature should also be given to players not in clans where they can talk to friends as most of the time I decline an invite from my friends as I don't want to lose my match progress talking to them would help a lot @Marcus
