In my mind's eye, Paladin will come out in the garage, be super OP, get bought by everyone, then get nerfed to the ground after three months of three quarters of the playerbase complaining.

To be fair, they did have a great excuse for why they nerfed Tesla. Because it needed to be nerfed.

And what about the flying hack, what about it's nerf, which was pathetic.

Nerfing tesla (dilatory augment) was bad for the game because as I have already stated, it was THE only turret that had any chance of stopping the flying hacks from destroying all cap modes in half the battle time.

TO is a complete jumbled OP mess and will only get worse.

The devs excuses are based solely on cash and have nothing to do with balance. Players like you never ever see the big picture, the devs deceive for a living and they are very good at it.

Paladin is the hull that rocked Tanki Online as a quick surprise hull. I am happy to be one of the first five players to have earned this hull for free. I now own it as a fully micro upgraded MK8 hull.

I know how ridiculous the long awaited early access is. Developers did not stop there. They are making more turrets and hulls behind the scenes in secret as well as developing new HD and XT skins. The new Sandbox map is being finalized. I do not know what the next early access shall be, but I expect it to be a new artillery turret. It will have a shorter range than Magnum. That's for sure.

I do not have a clue to what is the chance rate of the Paladin hull in ultra containers. What I know is that the chances of getting Paladin for ultra containers is very slim, so that means that only a few players will get Paladin from ultra containers during this early access period.

I hope the Early Access period will end within a week or two at the most.

But it's still too much overpowered with respect to the title that it is a  "Supporting hull". The effect of critical reduction,  jammer and AP applied certainly is too broken for the current mechanics. If the user equips melee turret with it, it's basically too OP in the OD duration.
