If you are gonna bail, you are gonna bail. Having a shorter battle time so players like you can decide to bail sooner is silly.

At least with longer battles there's a chance of a comeback.  Not so in shorter battles.

Shorter battles on maps like Sandbox and Sandal and Red Alert are ok.  They are NOT ok on the larger maps where you spend a disproportional amount of time just driving.  More time is needed to navigate the maps and actually do something besides dying.

Is it weird that i caught 106 gold in the special mode, but only 2 of them were containers? It happens to me everytimes, im pretty sure the rate of a container is not 1/ 50 and i catch average 2-3 golds per games.

Was not sarcastic. But your motto sounds like  "Never try, never fail".

I really don't understand how losing a close battle is bad.  So what if your team didn't quite make it.  Would be a different story if your team wasn't even trying - then I would bail too.  But I will finish 95% of the battles I begin if the teams are pretty even from the start.

Ah, yes. Keep changing the battles, keep using your players as guinea pigs. I don't have time to do 15 minute battles, it's way too long.

Ridiculous and poor management on the part of the devs, but that's what I've come to expect after almost a decade playing this game. Guess I'll play something else this weekend.

I agree, really enjoy the overdrives/drones off increased golds DMs! Also a big fan of this with explosive golds.

Much more profitable since you don't have to use batteries, and also fairer for people with lower equipment. Also, hulls other than Hopper can get golds, so it is more strategic and like the old Tanki. Yes, it does get boring after a while - but so does any mode, personally I enjoyed it and had some great matches with some great gold takes. Enjoyed it personally, and I hope to see more such events.

No it's not easier to make a comeback in those battles.

But I'll take those odd battles in order to have many more longer good battles.  7 minute battles on Temple, Berlin, Alexandrovisk, Dusseldorf, Highways, Kunger, Osa, Scope, Solimansk, Wolfenstein and original assault map (Yorkshire?) are all a joke.

They should give players option to choose shorter battles or longer battles and the longer battles will use the big and giant maps.

No idea bro, I just joined the match, which is why I’m so low. But I remember the match. Because me and some other dude on my team were carrying with Crisis, we barely won at 85-81

There is still a decent amount of time to play this weekend. However, I want to share with you the final decision on how long battle duration should be:

TDM --------------------------- 15 minutes.

CTF ---------------------------- 20 minutes.

CP ------------------------------ 30 minutes.

RGB ---------------------------- 25 minutes.

ASL ---------------------------- 30 minutes.

JGR ------------------------------ 1 hour.

Arms Race ------------------- 1 hour.

Also, it depends on the mode you are playing in, comeback's chances are low for ctf or rugby, siege, but  bigger in cp, jgn, tdm.

Did you know that not everyone has your time lol? Think about others sometime. A lot of players actually just want to play a map for like 10-15mins and you want to make it from 20mins to 1hour in the same battle with the same players.. No it will get very boring it's not World Of Tanks here MM battles shouldn't be longer than 12mins each

I agree with you on that point. Having a default like I suggested above with a time customizer attribute would help players select the amount of time they wish to play matchmaking battles. Battle customizers would help with that, just like in pro battles, except that the only customization would simply be the amount of time you select before entering any matchmaking battles in any mode.

Arms Race doesn't have to be longer, but the kills after getting B0NK shouldn't be just 5, it must be like 10 or more. Because the game is ending so fast.

I agree on that. To make sure that all players use B0NK in every Arms Race battle, I would suggest two requirements. The first one would be to desktop 20 enemy tanks with B0NK, and the second objective would be to have all players become B0NK. Both requirements would end the battle successfully and all players would make better use of the B0NK turret.

I agree with you here. Battle duration should be appropriate to map size. That would make matchmaking battles more balanced in terms of how long players play each battle according to both the size of the maps compared to the amount of time is required to complete the battle. On my proposal, I still think that battle time should be tied to the game mode itself.

Battle duration is fine from 7-12 minutes as it allows for many matchmaking factors to happen. 15 min is somewhat too long for me, as I get bored  at 1 point. But due to my device's status, I join the battle 1 or 2 min late so .... no worries ?

I completely agree with this statement. In fact, I had even suggested this exact idea a long time ago. Battle durations should depend upon the map size. We should have the ability to decide our preferred map size. Groups can go fight in bigger maps along with those solo players who prefer big maps while players who prefer small maps will need to play solo.

However, I still wonder if that would solve my frequently mentioned problem of players leaving team in mid-battle. Perhaps not everyone finds it as annoying as I do? Fine by me.

I feel like we should be given an option to choose map size (small, medium, large, mega) and battle duration (5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes).

 

Allowable battle combinations:

-small map with 5 minutes.

-small map with 10 minutes.

-small map with 15 minutes.

-small map with 20 minutes.

-medium map with 10 minutes.

-medium map with 15 minutes.

-medium map with 20 minutes.

-large map with 10 minutes.

-large map with 15 minutes.

-large map with 20 minutes.

-mega map with 15 minutes.

-mega map with 20 minutes.

Whatever you do, do NOT make Juggernaut battles an hour long. Juggernaut is the worst mode in the game; it's tedious, boring, and it has bad K/D. And anything greater than 15 minutes is too long no matter what mode (disregarding Arms Race).

Juggernaut feels boring because the juggernaut tank is now so weak that it feels like using Mammoth. I would suggest making juggernaut very strong and enabling more damage to its turrets so that it can destroy enemies with ease as well as enemy juggernauts using juggernaut.
