Hunter Hull Overdrive

Hi! i have suggestion to add something for hunter's overdrive that will affect juggernaut or allow hunter to stun juggernaut because hunter's overdrive is useless against juggernaut while other hull overdrives are very effective (except hopper). im fan of hunter but beacuse of this this hull is very bad in juggernaut mode .

Well I suppose nikunj forgot to mention in his post, just in case you didn't know there was a time when Juggernaut was vulnerable to status effects. It got immunity against status effects rendering hunter's OD completely useless. This is why your idea, comes under reversion of updates.

Yeah, that's disappointing, its pretty much the only hull whose OD does not affect the enemy jug in any way besides maybe hornet. All the other hulls can do something that affects the enemy jug in some way or form.

Hunter should definitely get some form of buff in Team Juggernaut mode, and possibly so should Hopper too (although Hopper is strangely good with Cyclone striker, so maybe not necessary - but Hunter definitely).

Hopper can use its hopping ability to either plant a mine on the jug or get up to an elevation that the jug can't reach and use tesla, magnum, or RRE to safely damage the jug.

 

For paladin, I hear it'll increase protection, heal itself, and damage the jug if its nearby.

Nice :) Ye it is a good thing that Cyclone striker exists, otherwise Hopper would suck in TJR lol. However, I still think Hopper and Hunter should get some buff in TJR, especially Hunter that is the most useless there.

Well you could use it to disable a wasp bomb for your juggernaut or a enemy dome planted in your base.

True, it can be used defensively. But for attack it is certainly the worst, Titan can also be used to defend your Juggernaut and disable Wasp Bombs or Titan domes, and it has the dome shield thing too. However Hunter does apply Jammer - still I wouldn't use Hunter in TJR though.

It would be nice if something was done for Hunter in TJR. Hunter was good certainly, although so was Viking - I wasn't a big fan of the status effect immunity change but I am not sure if I was Legend at the time, so perhaps Juggernauts were too fragile at the highest ranks, even if they were OK slightly lower down.

No doubt thought, with all the status effect augments that we have in the game now, it would be painful for Juggernauts not to be immune to status effects.
