Idea for an experiment

An introduction of my magnificent experiment idea:

Pretty funny isn't it that players will stick a certain equipment that they love and hate to change or look at an equipment at first glance and hate it. Even when they try to use another equipment the will get frustrated and return to previous equipment. So this experiment can support tanki online by receiving a large amount of data. The experiment is simple!

Put all turrets on lock ? except one for the whole day ( 24 hours ). Then put all hulls on lock ? except one for every 2 hours. This experiment will be 2 whole week long. According to what hour your online and what day your online matters.

Every period of change means a large amount of data collection. Tanki can also see which equipment has the most likes and hates. Also how many noobs and pros play with each equipment.

Developers already have plenty and numerous ways of judging and analysing the stats and current change as they have been doing so from a very long time. 

They have several means to check the favour-ism of tankers with respect to each combo, how much is any turret or hull fairing against other when  a certain alteration/immunity equipped or not. How is a particular item contributing to the game balance, etc. and a lot more.

And as for the other part, locking all combos, particularly for MM, isn't a great deal or "fair" in terms of MM. People always keep trying out different combos with different drones every time, while others play casually. For this particular idea, the specific events are being held like wasp-fire, rail-hopper etc. where you can play with a specific combo only & it also contributes a lot more to the data collected by developers.

P.S. - Despite these events, you will still find a number of players not playing the event mode but rather normal modes instead because they don't want to play in a specific combo all the time but rather have fun.

This does not only benefit the developers it also helps player.

What makes a game a great excitement? Challenges and trick moments!

Players naturally don't have choice, if they did then the game won't progress.

Look at it this way ? Players always won't easy' not realising that ease causes boredness . They only realize when it's carried out. It seems like your speaking in a perspective of a player which doesn't know how games work.

Here! Developers have only a small amount of intel in regards of players experience on each combo! Sometimes they have to carry out tests even if would upset players, they have to take risks to receive a greater understanding.

Alright I get your point, maybe for a certain period it can be valid, though I have to respectfully decline on the data collection part, I would like to hear other's opinion on the idea/experiment.

I want to play the Turrets and Hulls I like, not some random stuff. This would lead me to only play when the equipment I like is available, and it would push a lot of players away.

Not everyone has the same mindset as you, remember.

Agreed ?  Though in this, hull will also be changed and I think specific combos will be chosen.

Firstly, developers conduct experiments when they need some information or data.

Secondly, whatever you think should be the reason why this experiment should be conducted for, developers already have that data.

They have a lot more information than what you can even imagine.

How many "noobs and pros" with a particular combo doesn't really conclude anything useful.
