Maybe if EVERY OverDrive took 270 seconds, sure.  Why the heck does Crusader get a much quicker OD than Titan?

What I truly want is no scoring contributing to OD charge.  Entirely passive.

THAT would be equalizer for teams getting stomped.  Any BP contribution to OD charge favors the team winning the battle.

Different Overdrives give different effects and have different interactions with each other. Giving them all the same recharge time doesn't make sense with the current paramaters.

Maybe.

But 150 sec vs 270 seconds is a huge difference.

In many battles I've played recently Crusader was taking significant advantage of it's fast generating OD and easily killing off Titans trying to stay safe in their Dome.

 

But let's discuss passive-only OverDrives...

I really love the reduced OD charges. Why??? It encourages more skill play. And finally I dont have to worry about vikings instant win button as much anymore.

Crusader' s OD is a mess, it has lot of bugs, for a player that uses all hulls i can clearly tell you that using its OD is a pain, it is by far the worst in the game.

It has:

-auto aiming at nearby allies (that mean if you aim at an ennemy and there is an allies not even in your sight, your OD will get wasted on the allies.) But in the same time, it doesnt have ANY horizontal nor vertical aim. That means if your ennemy is on a small bridge and you have  railgun crusader equiped you land a shot with rail and it touches the ennemy, if you aim your OD at the same ennemy, the OD will be wasted since it doesnt have vertical aim.

-It randomly crashes into the ground

-it has insane recoil when you are shooting the OD

-it makes your ennemies self destruct when the OD touches them (you lose battle points)

-it makes the users crashes the appli on mobile

And many bugs i have forgotten, so trust me, many users would say good bye to crusader when paladin will come. I rate crusader's OD 0/20 and titan's OD 10/20.

My roger paint seemed noticeably brighter in the lobby. I also noticed that some maps looked a bit brighter. Shrugged it off, thinking I was finally losing my sanity.

the lobby lighting is messed up, much too bright

tanki x supply sounds are very annoying, especially boosted armor's "thunk thunk"

The initial addition of the spawn prot removed alot of cheap spawn-camping, prob one of the best changes in the game. Hopefully the new added spawn prot fixes the games where the a team continuously storms the enemy base. In some games like that people are leaving and joining so frequently that a team may be down like 3 to 4 players at a time.That ofc leading to a tilted score and more people leaving. But I guess there is a delicate balance in not making the enemy base an invulnerability zone.

Also, people actually use sounds in tanki?? I turned on sounds for once in my life and the lobby sounds like an Amazon warehouse ambient recording.

I turn off the music / lobby and have ambient set lower than sound effects, but I like the sound effects, or used to

The combination of supplies being activated all the time (you + other players) and the length of the tanki x effects means that you can hear supplies being activated for the entire battle and it's very annoying

Now that we have so many different equipment variations, we wanted to increase the game duration from 7 minutes, which was heard by Tanki and they have extended to 15 minutes. That was good, because so you finally had a little time to use the equipment variations strategically in a game. But now so Cooldown was increased, we are where we were with the 7min. battles, so the equipment variations but for the cat!

Was that really necessary? Is much too loud, especially the activation of double protection is something for the hard of hearing, that too from the whole team, I hear in the game primarily only the activation of supplies! Terrible!

I like the new supply activation sounds on their own I think they’re sleek and appealing. But perhaps the volume could be lower relative to the other sfx sounds. At least for the double armour, since it’s the longest and loudest. Also the range at which the sound is heard when others activate it could be reduced significantly to avoid DA activations drowning the rest of the sounds.

OS - Chrome OS

Browser - Google Chrome

GPU - No clue

i have windows 10 google chrome and an msi geforce gtx 1660 super video card. I can't login. it keeps loading, not even restart appears  i have an i7 3820 cpu. I don't play tanki online from google chrome, but from the download. The strange thing is that it looks like i am logged in and if i press tab i can even chat in general chat, but the screen keeps saying loading, so i can't play

I just click restart and problem solved. Having it once isn't really a problem considering that the game is notorious for errors and bugs. But having it multiple times during the period of time that you're logged on like 7-8 times within 30 or 45 minutes, then that would indicate that the server is crashing.
