Watch the Devs buff Wyvern's Breath once the December Challenge I expires...

Anyway, it should really get a buff, it's awful compared to most premium augments. Give it standard damage on critical hits (instead of it being reduced) and make the last shot guaranteed to freeze the target. 

 

And even with that, I would still use Stunning Pellets over it.

Dragon's Breath has halved critical damage. Wyvern's Breath does not.

I compared it with both, a premium item which was emp hammer because it fits in the same category (blth are premium items) and then, i compared it with dragon breath because it has the same level( dragons breath is better tho) honestly, even if i owed only slugger, i would use it over wyvern's breath.

Not sure about this, not because they've done it once with blunderbuss, mean that they would do it also with other "weak" p2w challenge augments.

The critical damage penalties for all non-Freeze Cryo augments were removed in August after the Freezing effect change because they became weaker overall. For augment paramaters, you should check the dedicated augment pages instead.

That's ok. Don't say the entire augment is trash. There are better, more practical options (AP and EMP Hammer that let you choose when to directly weaken your enemy), but that doesn't mean the other augments are bad in a vacuum. They are bad compared to what is best. 

 

Do I think Wyvern's Breath is worth a f2p's hard earned 700 Tankoins?  No, I do not. That does not mean the augment is awful. Being in the same category as a broken augment does not mean it has to be broken as well.

So the pass this time doesn't quite compare to the last one, but that is kind of to be expected considering that the pattern seems to be strong pass -> weak pass -> strong pass, or something like that. With such a strong pass last time, no surprise that it is quite weak this time. EMP Immunity for Dictator is a very good augment though, and Wyvern's Breath isn't bad (although not top tier), and the silver tier with Dragon's Breath is pretty good - looking forward to that one personally since I have almost no Hammer augments (for when I finally get Hammer).

I think that it is a GOOD thing that the battle passes are sometimes weaker, and that we are not seeing something like EMP Hammer this month. Why? Well just imagine how IMBALANCED battles would become if we had the best-of-the-best augments available every time. And really from Tanki's perspective, they can't afford to give away all of their best augments every time or else everyone will have them very fast, and it will damage the game's economy too much (as well as battles becoming imbalanced, and garage augments getting further de-valued).

 

I do think Wyvern's Breath could probably do with a slight buff, as could all freezing effect augments. I also think that if they are giving out "weaker" augments they should combine that with "stronger" (more desirable) paints - like for instance finally giving out Night City with this pass, along with Wyvern's Breath would have made it worthwhile for some.

But - Hammer's «Wyvern's Breath» augment is rly cool and GL Players.

That augment should be available for crystals just like cryo round for smoky, a f2p tanker that would go for this pass would clearly get one of the worst augment out there. 

For example, It is like you buy a class D car for the same price as a class S car, of course you would say it is bad, if i pay 200k euros for a car, it is not to have one that has the same performances of a 30k car, you know what i mean.

I get that, but this is a problem the Devs have created themselves by putting "premium" augments in the BP in the first place. Now they have set high expectations in the playerbase, and nobody is gonna waste their TKS on mediocre challenges.

The buyer will, or other people that want the bp for other stuff like nuclear energy or paints, or the hull augments

And they replace it with what?? A consumable that allows you to use your OD immediately for once? Seriously?

I guess they "solve" the "what if a grinder already get all the skins from the skin container" problem

Thats not that, they said "challenges were giving reward that was more worthy than 500 tankoins so we had to put off skin cont and increase the price 700 tankoins to balance challenge's rewards and challenge's price. We firstly increase the price to 1,5k tankoins but nobody purchased the pass so we thought the best idea was no skin at the top tier and decrease its price to 700 tankoins" 

Ik thats some lame excuses

That is exactly the purpose, make augment as powerful as possible while not broken,

emp/ap/stun need good timing, fire and freeze just addon bonus, while in compare

1. freeze can apply all effect continuesly,
2. telsa can apply all effect at wish every 6 sec;

3. gauss, striker, shaft need aim before making effect;

4. hammer can make effect on 3rd shot,

5. hammer, rail, twin make effect truely random,

6. Smoky need to build from negative critical chance before random critical kick in.

7. Rico, magnum apply effect if map has straight up bouncing wall, or lucky shot

Ok stun and EMP needs to apply with thinking, because first stop the target (you can stop enemy flagbearer) and second can accidentally refresh target's supplies if you're not ready to kill it. But AP is cool in any case.
