If you by any chance mean general Mk modification discounts on turrets and hulls, they were applicable on 25th and 26th December respectively.

I recall the sale on purchasing hulls and turrets on the 25th and 26th, but I don't recall a sale on Mk upgrades.  I thought Mk upgrades would be included in today's upgrades, and right now, I don't even see discounts on micro upgrades.

The second special game mode with lots of space on the map for juggernaut to move and spin around is the sort of map that we need for juggernaut battles. I like to play on maps which have wide open spaces to free roam around the map without getting stuck on obstacles.

Agreed with everyone, the Juggernaut mode is great :) Map is pretty good for Solo Jug, and SJR always works interestingly with explosive golds. Both the special modes for this event have been really fun so far.

Can someone please explain the concept of meteor gold boxes, this is my first time witnessing this event.

So as I understand it, you can't stand on top of the drop zone, as the gold box will be in the form of a meteor that destroys any tank that is close, right? So then how is it that when I stand even like 10m away from the drop zone, I sometimes get destroyed, while people who are standing just 2-3m away from it dont die and can take the gold box easily?

Radius of explosion might be more than 10m.

Those surviving might have Lifeguard drone which allows them to survive one mortal hit - regardless of amount of damage.

The grind was wayyy too excessive for Christmas, but congrats :P ! That is arguably the joint-best augment in the game right now, so congratulations in advance on winning most matches you play from now on :)

I think he might be safe, as looking at the history of OP Ultra Container augments - nerfs generally don't seem to happen :P Or if they do happen, it takes around a year, and the developers do a nice "still viable" nerf (see EMP Gauss for example) instead of a nerf to the ground, as they usually do to Garage items.

Even in the case of Hammer Blunderbuss, it was buffed even when it was already OP (although Hammer itself was recently nerfed). Big nerfs only apply to Garage augments, of course.

The only way such augments are really going to be nerfed is through a nerf to the turret itself, and I don't really see that regular Tesla needs a nerf currently - so it seems unlikely.

The unfortunate exception to the nerf rules for Ultra Container augments might be - if the lead developer comments a post relating to your new imba augment. In this case, a nerf may be expected within 24 hours - rather than around 1 year after release, as would usually have happened :P

Paladin-Tesla-AP is the new OP combo.  Even replacing Freeze for that in many cases.

I just don't "get" Tesla.  It's broken.  Seems to kill anything very quickly, even when enemies have 40% modules.

Modules, for all the crystals we invested, are pretty much useless now.  Who cares if we can get a 4th slot - really doesn't matter if none of the slots protect you.  Only useful if you happen to have Armadillo equipped as well.

Tesla was counterable with modules beforehand, but with introduction of AP and EMP tesla, it poses more of an issue greater than before.
