Additional information for players:
 

realistically getting crystals is still better for epic/rare/common than supplies (assuming all augments, or at least good augments claimed)
as low as the value may be
calculating @ 50% supply purchase, crystals are far more worth than supplies out of conts
for Epic rarity, provided u get sales of more than 16.6666%, better to get 25k crys than 100 batts
For Rare rarity, provided u get sales of more than 33.3333%, 10k crys better than 100 rk
For Uncommon rarity, provided u get sales of more than 40%, 3000 crys better than any of 100 RK/BA/BS/SB
And since most people buy bulk during 50% sales, effectively makes even the lower return of crystals now better than the supply returns.

Maybe swap regular golds with containers and increase the value of regular golds to like 50k? So goldboxes have value in the game

 

Or gold containers should be an ultra cont now

I see what you mean, for example, "fire of valor" paint is in the epic section of containers while it is listed in the exotic section of the garage. Same for prestigio, legendary in containers but exotic in the garage.

For rank ups, they should increase the number of container we get per rank ups, for each rank ups we get 2 containers and if you rank up for the 2nd time, you get 2 more containers so 4, until Legend, etc. And when reaching Legend rank, you get 62 containers as reward and it will still increase if you rank up more. That's the better solution.

For containers, they should simply not reduce value of supplies + crystals and kept it normal, and they shouldn't remove premium, gold box and skins cause for new players, playing this game will be now a huge waste of time and they will get bored easily and fastly. The two things I agree with this messy update is the nerf of some turrets, alt and paladin od and that they added alt which was only obtainable only in ultra containers in to containers.

Also shards, they should have keep it, even if we get too much containers, let's remember that you decrease the value of crystals and supplies and now we gonna easily run out of supplies and batteries, they really need to bring back that...

Also they really need to rework again weekly containers, even after its buff, it's hard to get even 5-10 of it fastly and I know that TO dev won't increase back the value of crystals and supplies and if it's the case, pls rework weekly container to make it possible to be obtainable much more easily instead of waiting literally 1 week after we get only 3 of it!

I have a question, since i am on mobile, i can't see what prizes are inside containers, could someone tell me if they have fixed the bug where there are turrets and hulls even if we own them?

Getting Mk1 equipment from Containers is not a bug. 

Getting Mk1 equipment when you already have higher modifications of the item you got — that is a mistake for which the Developers issued the Token of Apology. 

The 23 containers that you get from that ToA are more than enough to compensate for any wasted containers which gave you Mk1 equipment even though you had higher modifications of that equipment. These 23 containers fixed the problem, pretty much. Read this post of mine to understand how they fixed this issue:

So the possibility to receive a turret or hull that we already own will be kept forever? If so, how 23 containers is more than enough? I open 15 containers, atleast 4 of them would be a turret or a hull, that mean if i open 150 containers, 40 would be wasted so could you explain how 23 containers is enough? 

We can earn 96 containers montly just with daily missions and weeklies, soon i will lose more than 23 containers.

Mea culpa: i understood the problem, that means, if i get a firebird mk1, i won't get it twice right? So those 23 containers are here so they can cover all cont wasted from turret and hulls?

Opened only 15 Containers after this crap stupid update. Got Mk1 Magnum and Striker (both Mk7-20); the Mysterious Red shot for Vulcan; 7x1000 Crystals, one 3000 Crystals, Mines and Speeds.

What can I say... Crap update.

Suppose you bought 5 Mk7 kits for equipment which you had never bothered to buy from the Garage. For the system, it looks as if you never had Mk1s for those 5 hull-turret kits, and so Mk1s for that equipment will show up in your reward-pool.

If you bought an Mk1 turret and upgraded it to Mk7, then the Mk1 turret will not  be obtainable from containers.

Now, if you already have the Mk1 versions of all hulls & turrets, then those 23 containers will give you extra crystals/supplies/augments etc. even though you never faced the problem. This basically means that you need not worry at all if your Garage had Mk1s at some point of time. You've essentially got free stuff just like that.

Even if you bought the Mk7 versions of 23 turrets & hulls directly, you needn't worry. This means that the system will show 23 Mk1s in your container-reward-pool, because it assumes that your Garage never had Mk1s (this is the mistake that the Developer made). So, when you get 23 extra, free containers, you can be sure that these 23 pieces of equipment will definitely emerge from containers some day. If 10 show up among the 23 from the ToA, then the remaining 13 containers will give you some reward in lieu of the 13 Mk1s that you'll inevitably get from containers in the future.

I created a new account after the update, played up to rank 7 to collect the 23 Tainers, then played more to collect Tainers from Dailys and Weeklys. I'm now at rank 8 with 31 Tainers... well, not anymore because I opened them all, and here are the results:

Wait, I also bought all Mk1 Turrets and Hulls...

This post is posted before the update. With "right now" I mean the old system. But I still have to agree the old system was a little OP

Or maybe just remove black golds entirely and make a gold box 10000 crystals per drop.

ok I can see your point but what about premium passes which they just increased back around Sept to 10 days in  containers or  allowed us to receive  gold boxes which tanki over the years have decreased giving in battles  . Even in events when there is way more players joining such as the Birthday event or Christmas. both of these have been removed completely from containers leaving players who have limited funds or none at all how will they be able to compete to getting star missions completed now. what tanki has now done is  placed none buyers into a group of there own and buyers above others. in the past we got to compete with  buyers on a small playing field allowing none buyers a premium pass to help gain stars in missions.

for shards we knew that was not going to stay for long due to the fact star missions were in a way replacing them.

my only issue is if they bring out a new system to look like the shard system to give us more items . which makes no sense when they all ready have a program that works why change it. only things they should be doing is repair the gear score system to balance and improve the rewards in star missions, making it worthy to stay and battle.

Exactly. If you get it from a container, you'll never get it again. Or, if you had already purchased Firebird Mk1, it would never show up in the reward-pool of containers.

I think they want to monetise premium even more; except premium as of now doesn't really offer much, 1 measly container a day is rubbish. Maybe having it so Premium gives you access to a premium mission tab which awards 1 ultra container each, mission difficulty the same as daily missions. So 6 missions a day would be maybe something to help make premium better?
Only ways to get premium right now are to buy them via money, tk in the showcase, or with 100d premium from the ultra containers exotic reward; but I would prefer to get 1m crys over it.

in away you do get more crystals then supplies on some containers , but not the ones which had 250 supplies . for the premium not many will be buying seeing only 1 k for the money spent in a game on imaginary items. they need to improve it for players to buy. you can't give peanuts when no one likes them. its a waste.

so far ,majority of players are against this new update for good reason.

Why would they think that giving high ranked players MK1s just because they skipped it at lower ranks is a token of apology???

You catching my drift mod. If it were truly a apology they would have dismissed all MK1 rubbish from the containers and replaced it with a chance of lets say 10K cry instead.

We on the same page now.

I would like the devs to add one more item in green category -> 3 gold boxes. Since new containers give 3k crystals in green category, this will not at all affect the economy of the game. It will also help people to drop golds in battles during rank up's or any other special events .

Don't really know why the devs chose to move in this direction. Once upon a time, they decided to become more generous with the Shards program and challenges because of less and less players, but it seems to me everything is being rewinded. The main thing i'm seeing is a significant reduction of crystal rewards from daily missions, no more 40K crystals with a rank up and the removal of premium. The only good thing that happened in this update is to move the legendary rewards of UC rewards to ordinary containers and a marginal increase in chance of getting better rewards. All this is overshadowed by a significant reduction in crystal return which players will need to play more to earn. I suspect this patch will be hugely hated. Unless there are now tons of TO players, i cannot comprehend this update.
