Tanki Online Turret Tier List

Since I like Tier Lists in general, I thought of creating one for TO as well. I wanted to make one for a while, but the presence of p2w augments made it really hard to place all the Turrets, since the meta will change a lot when taking into consideration different status effects.

So, I created one that takes into consideration only Garage Augments (aka the ones you can buy with crystals)

The + and - stand for recent balance changes which buffed or nerfed some Turrets. I am unsure about Firebird's placement, since I did not play it that much after the latest buff, and I am also not sure about Gauss, as it's one of the Turrets I do not (yet?) own.

I agree with most of it. Twins should be placed higher thanks to its new augments while Magnum should be D+.

Yep, but I only considered garage augments for this List, with Status Effect augments and "premium" ones, the turrets would change positions a bit.

Which garage augments did you consider? All of them combined? The best ones only?

All of them combined, and I took into consideration their overall utility and effectiveness. 

Although, some Turrets only need one Augment to excel. (like Adrenaline on Vulcan).

I think you can move Smoky up two tiers and Railgun one, Adrenaline Smoky hits very hard and Round Destabilization is basically just an unnerfed rail from when the critical update first dropped - it has -50% normal damage instead of the (relative to current) +50% normal damage, but it also has a flat 50% crit chance instead of 50-10, and you can't forget that Death Herald with Booster is the same as a death herald rail back then with more critical chance, and that currently Hyperspace Rounds breaches 1k damage for SGE and TJR.

Also, I would add in D, D-, E+, E-, all empty, then and F tier and move Thunder there

I agree twins should be placed higher in this list but I think magnum should be placed at B- its actually very good turret if we talking about defence for MM and with the use of dictator even better because of its overdrive its a very good combo in MM

I personally use twins with garage augments and it's very good with the use of mouse control and hover hulls

Probably Smoky could be raised a bit yes, I only use it with EMP or AP, so I do not have much experience with Standard augments, I thought it would not be that effective, but I guess the latest buffs made it much better overall.

I don't know about Rail, maybe C- but not much higher than that, imho.

Yes, Twins was actually A-/B+, but the latest nerf on its range killed it. (Also Hammer and Ricochet lost some tiers because of the same reason.)

Yes, Twins was actually A-/B+, but the latest nerf on its range killed it. (Also Hammer and Ricochet lost some tiers because of the same reason.)

I could say it's at least B tier it doesn't need any special augments for that tier. I know the nerf at range kill did take hammer and twins down but I think twins deserves a better spot

With the new balance changes, I believe Firebird deserves a spot in the S tier.

Smoky with legendary augs is just OP. Same goes for Isida with vampire nanobots, while twins with garage augs is really good too.

Some might argue with Vulcan being in the S tier, but with Heat immunity and booster this turret is just broken... doesn't matter if you have prot against it or not, it will still finish you off really quickly.

Need I to explain Thunder and Magnum being in the D tier?

I would classify rail a bit up, probably in C or in B- because of its status augments benefits and in general, and the good critical damage and critical change.

Furthermore, Fire bird should be categorized with A+ list, because it is overpowered in close range.
Hence, everything seems right according to me.

Adren Smoky is quite nuts. It only takes you losing 20% of your health to start killing medium hulls faster than Vulcan.

This is not taking into account ultra container legendary augments, only crystal augments.

Only with EMP honestly, also this is for @2shots2kills's list, which is taking into account crystal augments only.

Yeah sadly, I saw that part just after my post,  then it seems to fit Railgun in that category because now except Death Herald, I don't seem to find any good Crystal rail augment left. Pretty much all nerfed.

Round Destabilization is "good" in that it gives you essentially stock rail performance from the initial critical update (details in a previous post above" but yeah it doesn't scale up as high, it's good by early 2021 standards, not late 2021/2022.

If we took Augments into consideration with the turret general performance also my list will be

S.  Tesla - Freeze - Striker (with old stun)

A+.  Railgun (too much augments) - Isida (Vampire = immortal).

A.  Hammer - Gauss - Smoky

B+.  Magnum (AP) - Twins - Shaft

B. Ricochet - Vulcan

F.  Thunder - Firebird (before buffs).
