I have gotten 2 legendaries since the update from opening around 250-300  containers. One was nanobots and spectrum paint both of them i wanted for a long time :)

I hope you mean Vampire nanobots... as there's no way Support is Legendary.

Probably, but there isn't a guarantee that it won't be added to the Container pool in the near future.

 

So finally <<The Gold hunters>> mode will appear again, I have mk7ed every turret and most hulls, would try many combos to have fun and try to catch golds. It's advantageous that Overdrives are off.

Though, on the fact that I am a bit dejected with no super missions from tomorrow.

I often found, vampire just enough to kill 1-2 enemy together, and I often found I stuck to deal 3rd and rest enemy in enemy base.

so I use compact fuel firebird and ap freeze instead when going to enemy base for flag. often can take down full base 4-5 tanks in one go without OD.

Would be a shame if they did. Miss those days when they had Cryo, Holi, Thankos, etc. bundles for an exclusive time period. It's almost very cool to see someone in Yay Ten these days, even better than esports prize paints.

I believe those paints are still rare, it is not possible to obtain them currently, though Holi paint was available as the animated version of Holiday paint a recent while back.

It is not fixed for now, there can be some new paints that could stay in bundles and can only be claimed for a short duration. It all depends on Developers.

I would like to add the fact that both the Drones and Overdrives are disabled in this mode and Equipment change is possible ^^

I can't finish in the top 3 of any battle in MM mode.  I have not completed the mission in chinese new year or my weekly missions they just sit there and take up space.  TO is so imbalanced for me my K/D rate is .30 which is sad they make the game like this.

I am tired of this game so much that after these 11 years I will propably quit......Buy drones that will help you catch gold, upgrade them as much as possible, so that they cannot be used later.......

Seriously bro? Taking a look at your profile, you have reasonably good gearscore, so that should definitely not be happening. You are definitely doing something wrong here, I suggest watching some YouTubers perhaps like Jumper or Daring_Deer and taking a look at how they play - even thought they may have better equipment, you can pick up some general tips.

I see you are using a lot of Thunder, and also you only have Brutus drone - and certainly Thunder is currently quite weak, and Brutus is also the weakest drone. But really, even with that equipment, with over 9000 gearscore you should definitely be more than able to get top-3 on a regular basis. Smoky is a stronger turret, with Smoky-Viking you should definitely be able to get top-3, especially in modes like CP where it is a very strong combo.

I am unable to record any videos myself to try to give tips, playing with the same equipment you have. But do perhaps try to check out some YouTubers that I mentioned here, because you are underperforming heavily for the equipment that you have, so there is something wrong in the way you are playing I'm afraid. If you learn some tips from these players, you may soon find you are more easily able to get top-3.

You know that many of us requested that we get special modes with no drones and overdrives, right? And I am one of those players, I am glad that they vary these modes, and sometimes give us modes with no drones etc. Don't forget that free players will regularly run out of batteries - while many players will also not have well upgraded drones - so these rules level the playing field a lot, and make these modes more economical (as you are not using batteries), if your goal is to earn crystals. It is also a nice and different challenge, I like variety - sometimes having drones/overdrives and sometimes not is good. So I really don't understand complaints about this.

@DestrotankAI9  yeah ever since they update my aim is different.  The shots don't hit using thunder.  The range has been nerfed. I agree with you now its very weak turret.  TO added so many turrets and hover hulls that are bringing the game down.  Why didn't they just make what they had better, not add.  Drones are taking over too, It's so complicated

The event mode is pretty fun, I tried catching some gold boxes using Dictator (something I haven't done in ages). However, I'd enjoy it more if drones were enabled.

Well yes, Thunder is a very weak turret right now - it is the worst turret in the game by far, I'm afraid. If you are having problems because of Thunder, then what augments do you have for Smoky? Smoky is one of the strongest turrets in the game right now, in contrast to Thunder. Even Cryo Rounds, from the Garage, or Incendiary Rounds will be very powerful with Smoky - or if you have it - the EMP Smoky Legendary augment is the best one. With Smoky and Viking you should do a lot better than with Thunder and Viking, and more chance to get that top-3. I am afraid the developers seem to hate Thunder for some reason - I am afraid you may have to start using another turret if you want to do better.

If you want something that is close to Thunder (but much more powerful), try Striker. Striker is better than Thunder in almost every aspect, right now. But out of the Mk7 turrets that you already own, Smoky will be a good choice.

Who says gear score doesn't imbalance battles.  Every time I get battle with a lot of opposing team with high gear score they win.  The low gear score team always lose.

The lack of drones means increased profit margins however, for we poor folks :p Many players won't be able to spam the event mode if drones are enabled - because you will run out of batteries very quickly, especially in this new economy where we earn very few batteries.

I gave the event mode a try and I have to say I thought it was great, some of the most fun I've had in an event mode for a while, and also very profitable. Iran is a great map for melee turrets, so with the golds it was super easy to get a lot of kills, and I did well on golds too. No overdrives meant golds were not dominated by Hopper, and no drones meant that you didn't need to burn a huge amount of batteries to participate.

It's unfortunate that black boxes are so much less valuable now (although in theory you could get those legendary augments), I caught quite a few but they kept giving me the same as a regular gold - 1000 crystals =/ . Although the regular golds do mean more now, with crystal income so reduced.

Overall I thought it was fun :) I hope that we still have the more valuable golds during the April Fools' / Tanki Birthday celebrations, in the new economy hunting those golds will be even more high adrenaline than ever.
