Repair Kits Counters Status Effects

We all know how repair kits Counters the burning and freezing effects.  However, it doesn't counter other status effects, which didn't make much sense to me. 

My suggestion is to make repair kits slowly make the status effects wear off faster than they usually do, because a repair kit repairs the tank, and a broken armor, supplies being disabled, and Jammer even after using repair kits doesn't really heal the tank completely.

You know, I was writing up a long paragraph about how the new EMP system can help this work, but I realised it's pointless ? I guess it won't work too well for all effects. However what do you think of the overall idea?

Honestly. I don't know why this wasn't added back then. But yes, its a really good idea.

How would this idea make repair kit more ... ... rare?

You mean we'd use them more often (to get rid of status) and thus there'd be fewer in our garage?  Depleting supplies faster?

More rare in terms of its status against other supplies, this supply can counter Status effects

I don't think it will, you will use it as you are using it previously.

I don't think it will, you will use it as you are using it previously.

First part still does not make sense.

2nd part - of course you will use more if it has expanded uses.  Players will use it when injured OR when they have a status.  More reasons to use it WILL deplete the stockpile faster.

Another question popped up, @Incorp.

 

If I remember correctly, if you have full health you aren't able to use the repair kit from your stock of supplies. So what happens if you get inflicted with a non damaging status effect at full health and there are no boxes or teammates nearby?

It could be just like the mechanic drone, you could use your repair even at full health. 

I agree, the idea is pretty good incorp.

Most time after inflicting SE they will damage u

Well it's a good one in particular so why not.....

Depending on the duration of the effect, this has the potential to be quite an influential update.

I hope it will bring back at least a bit of the balance lost with the addition of all the status effect augments.

Well, hunters are gonna go extinct I guess.. ? im fond of pairing hunter with freeze/hammer, so kinda sad ngl

Didn't think of that, just use a repair kit when hunter od is loading and your safe. 

Oh well, let's wait and see how it will work out.

Exactly, the fact that you can use your repair even at full health makes it intriguing.
