Let's start this year with a brand-new, cool event that we have never had in Tanki before!

Starting from January 29, 2 AM UTC, till February 14, 2 AM UTC, get one of the special offers to support a YouTuber, earn stars, and get prizes!

«YouTuber Battle» is a competition among six Tanki YouTube content creators:

• Waider

• BigTanks

• JERRYYY21

• Quirky

• Taspens

• Jumper

 

On the special landing page, you can find all the information about the event, read interviews with the YouTubers, follow the battle process, compare team ratings, and see your personal statistics. Once you log in, you will see the number of stars you earned (if it is higher than 300) and an avatar of the YouTuber whose special offer you purchased.

 

The information on the landing page is updated once every half an hour.

We have created themed special offers for each of our participating content creators. They will be available starting from January 29, 2 AM UTC, till February 14, 2 AM UTC. Make your decision, choose whom you want to support, and purchase their unique bundle.

Important: A player can buy only one of the special offers. Paints will remain in the participants’ Garages after the event.

How to participate

 

Starting from January 29, 2 AM UTC, till February 14, 2 AM UTC, you must meet the following 2 requirements in order to participate:

 

1. Get one of the YouTuber-themed special offers

2. Play in Matchmaking and earn no less than 300 stars

 

Important: Stars that you purchase are also counted.
 

How to win

 

Teams are ranked by their efficiency which will be calculated using the following formula: the total number of stars earned by a team divided by the total number of players in the team. This coefficient shows the average number of stars earned by each member of a team. The more stars each team member earns, the higher the coefficient will be. The team with the highest efficiency wins.

With this scoring system, the number of players in a team will not determine the outcome of the battle. Rather, the team that works the hardest will emerge victorious.

For example, if there are 1,000 participants in a team and they have earned a combined total of 20,000 stars, the team’s efficiency rate will be 20,000/1,000 = 20.

In another example, another team has 2,000 participants and they have earned a combined 30,000 stars; the team’s efficiency rate will be 30,000/2,000 = 15.

In such a situation, the first team would win with an efficiency rating of 20 stars per participant.

IMPORTANT: We log your stars starting from the moment you purchase one of the special offers but these stars are counted towards team results only once you earn 300 stars.

 

Prizes

All the participants who meet the requirements (bought a special offer and earned no less than 300 stars) will receive rewards. The more stars you earn, the more prizes you will receive:

• 900 Stars; Container х2

• 1200 Stars; Container х2

• 1500 Stars; Container х3

• 1800 Stars; Container х3

• 2100 Stars; Container х4

• 3300 Stars; Container х6

• 3600 Stars; Container х6

Participants of the winning team will also get additional rewards:

 

• 50 Containers

• 30 Ultra Containers

 

The prizes are accumulated. Thus, a player who earned 5,000 stars and whose team won, may get 99 Containers, 45 Ultra Containers, and the unique «Freeze SE» skin! 

 

The prizes will be added to your accounts on February 14.

 

For the duration of the event, we will create special chat channels on our official Discord server — one for each of the YouTubers' teams. Find teammates, play together, and discuss strategies to win!

 

The event is held in accordance with the General Rules for Promotions and Contests

The event is promotional in nature, is not a lottery or other risk-based event, and does not require payment for participation.

How many special offers can I buy?
You can buy only 1 of the themed special offers. Once you have successfully purchased any of the bundles, the others will become unavailable.

 

Why do the teams have 0 stars and 0 participants on the website?

This may happen during the first few hours of the event. It means that none of the participants who bought a special offer has earned at least 300 stars yet.

 

When can I buy a special offer?
You can purchase a special offer at any moment during the event. However, you are considered as a participant of the event and stars you earn are counted towards team results only once you purchase a special offer and earn 300 stars.

 

Will the stars I earned before buying a special offer be counted?
No. You are considered as a participant of the event and stars you earn are counted towards team results only once you meet all the following criteria:

• You got one of the YouTuber-themed special offers.
• You played in Matchmaking and earned no less than 300 stars.

 

Are the stars I purchase also counted?

As in all other events, the stars that you purchase are also counted.

This is unclear, are the stars start to be counted (1)only when the bundle is bought or (2)stars earned before its purchase are also counted when the bundle is bought?

Otherwise, if it is the first case(1), anyone could just wait for the last day and buy the bundle with the better coefficient.

It is really not. What you´re paying for is the bundle, which includes containers, paint and atomic energy, everything beyond that is mere extra and doesn´t have to be guaranteed.

I know what you´re getting at, but believe me, it is for legal purposes and I´m sure their attorneys have it sorted out in case of a legal dispute.

tbh 7 containers for 3900 stars is pretty bad , the only good thing is the skin which is at 5000 stars . According to my calculations:

17*150 = 2550 stars from daily , 2*900 =1800 from weekly 2550+1800 = 3450 stars. add 400 stars of special missions to it so 3850 now

5000 - 3850 = 1150 stars . Assuming mega pro guy (3 stars every battle all days)  , 384 battles are required which is 384*15 min = 5760 min

5760/17 =  339 min or about 5 hours 40 min of play every day is required .

OR

do nothing buy 1000 star bundle 5 times in shop.

Yes, every star that you earn by any means (missions, finished battles, bought in shop) is counted towards the goal.

(I.e. every star that counts towards the monthly challenge).

am I getting this correct, the stars which earned before the bundles come into the shop are not counted or are they already counted? If so I would already have 2.9k stars in advance as of now.

to me, 990 tkoins is more useful than  100 containiers, (49 container+ 15uc + 15 uc bundle, or if your team win, 99 container +60uc)

each day I save 5 container (1 shop, 3 mission, 1 shard container from 10 ads)
each week , I save 5x7 = 35 container, + 3 from weekly misison, + 3-4 from challenge  = 40 container,

so 2 week I can save about 100 containers, + 10uc

but 1 month I can only save 300+ tankicoins

Maybe you can make the deadline to buy the bundles February 6th or so. Gives players time to reconsider their options while solving the problem at hand.
