Picture speaks for itself

As they said in the vlog, today they only put on the lobby and the garage, which is what has had the most changes, they will continue working on it, the other will come later

All this chat about the new interface, who cares. What about the trash OP P2W crap and the useless containers. Developers bring out a new look and all is ok. you lot deserve everything the developers NEVER GIVE YOU, zip.

Enjoy your shiny new garage because for most of you it's still useless at endgame battles.

not everything can be done quickly, if you want a good result, you have to wait

Read it again. I do not care about the "new interface" it means nothing to me, so what, etc, etc.

All that time and effort imo is wasted. How about some time and effort in MM amongst a lot of other things that need urgent attention, like balance and fair play and substantially lower shop prices, more crystals to XP in battle, etc, etc.

You feel were I'm coming from now.

You mean like a year? Or is that not enough time for the devs?

No, it's not wasted. This is making the game better step by step, whatever parameter it maybe, currently the Interface, now future parameters like MM battles and a good deal of other stuff can be looked and worked upon.

I know I’m saying this all the time, but it’s highly problematic when each “step” takes a year or more.

This was partly because Developers were focussing the interface first, which changes the whole layout of the game, and thus it took time.
I can't comment that it took less or more time, than it should take in making a new UI because I don't have much idea in that field currently, but all I can say is now the rest factors will be worked up in the near future ^^

the interfacing is not good... starting with the game section is just in the wrong placement. it should be under the ranking sections .

the missions/ shop section button is on the wrong side - main reason why its interferes with the tank main garage page.

the shop items in the bottom right corner does not need to be that huge - shrink it down

the crystals / tankions need to be enlarged - its hard to see small numbers for some players.

also  if you go back in the past I believe tanki has changed there logo many a times over the years or events. this is not new to old players.

This new interface is just awesome, especially the one for forum. I just can't put, how good this new one looks, in words. It is just awesome.

How long I've waited for this. ?

I realize that you are not really familiar with updates in video games but this isn't anything weird or Tanki-specific issue. Most of the games I've played actually take quite long to implement something.

Spoiler

Devs should hang this into their bedroom wall so every morning when they wake up they can see what really kills their game and focus things that keep this game alive.  One thing is clear that players are not leaving because of interface is not fancy enough.

Name one game that takes over a year to update its interface.

Suggestion ...garage : still not everything clickable in the same screen   , you have to scroll  left / right  for every section..l that's pretty unconvenient as it was before .ALso you have to "esc" for every section=  feeling like  It's  one button more to press   ,  to wait for the screen to load the section you want ,  and finally STILL to scroll left /right to select turret /hull / protection  . WHEN IT COULD HAVE BEEN DOBNE BY ARRANGING 2 ROWS  of module-icons , is it that difficult to do ?  .

And a section for the preferite  or the "preset" i honestlywas expecting that  . In fact  , i saw those suggestions from others  already in those years but well  , their call . .
For the moment , IN BATTLE it  TAKES more TIME to switch , maybe it will be the same tyime as before once used to it..definetely not less .
ps

Protection modules by name like "ocelot" does not help newcomers nor mid time players to select rapidly modules  i.m.o   .
you have to learn icons  ( i know them already   but a new player would lose plenty of time in it , at every change  )

what interface , too me all they did was removed the back ground colour page to make it invisible .  moved items and shrunken things to make it harder to see.

also not a fan of how small the container X 1 containers indicator is. you now have to enlarge our screens to see it. just a poorly waste of time and money to create when there was nothing much wrong with the old system.

also someone needs to check out the hunter Over Driver. ( I'm fully aware of augments that prevents them to be used on certain players )

what is happening is I'm finding it either not clicking on in battles or its not freezing tanks .  this is when you have more then1 tank in the same spot.

Ah, umm.

First off, not all games in the world actually survived for over a decade with quite a considerable player base. Multiplayer games barely survive for 5-7 years. I am aware of CS:GO, which I mention as an exception to what I just said.

Secondly, not all such games are browser based. Other game companies developed their own game engine which allowed them to just keep their game, the way they designed it, forever. Tanki on the other hand, began its journey as a browser based game, developed with adobe flash. If you consider another game , say for instance Call of Duty:Modern Warfare 2019, it had its own engine which was developed by Infinity Ward, in a time span of five years prior to its release in 2019. That isn't the case with Tanki. The developers were confined and are still confined to the limitations and abilities of the engines the once ran upon and currently runs on. It is like asking someone else to live their life the way you want them to. ?

So I don't think there's any other game which actually has to update its UI, because there's just no need to. ?‍♂️

Third, speaking of Call of Duty franchise in general. COD is that exact franchise which set up a standard for first-person shooter games. There are many bugs and glitches, which unlike those in tanki, give a straight forward advantage to players, weren't fixed for 12-18 months. It isn't about building a new UI from scratch, just fixing some tiny bugs. ?‍♂️

I am not saying that this is the ideal game with everything wonderful. I am not saying that the developers are the best or anything. I am just trying to say that we shouldn't really be undermining their efforts. Yes, it is wonderful if you give feedback but it isn't really fair for you to belittle their efforts.
