[Edited] Status effects are part of the game, it aint my problem coz u dont have immunities to protect yourself. Whole point of ap is ruined now. With emp it is still kinda playable.

I predict a second hull augment slot will be in the game soon.

Also, equipment switching is now well and truly pointless because of Pulsar Ricochet.

Though I wonder if all turrets will eventually have a similar augment.

Alright, I partly agree with you. AP is a fickle thing to use now. But it's not my fault. Always look from the perspective of the other person. Whenever I got angry at an annoying tanker, I try to see through his perspective. That way, I don't feel so bad. I play this game to have fun; maybe that's how he have fun. Seeing it that way really helps my emotions from going out of control, and maybe seriously insult a player.

I do not choose to buy the BP. That is my choice. Also, I don't use crusader or ares.

As I have said, I take pride in being F2P. Being toxic player kinda ruins it. I like to play balanced, if I had crisis drone I wouldn't be using it in every battle, but mostly in battles where the enemies are superior. And also partly cuz of supplies consumed lmao.

I had a strong urge to react with a shrug but refrained. I don't mind if you guys get really angry at me, lay down all your arguments and let's sort through this logically. Please don't start a flame war ?

Previously, it was tailored towards Booster making it have a significant increase in performance.  But with these very meticulous changes in numbers, it appears that it is being tailored to do well with Crisis in particular.

Crisis allows some of them to break barriers. In a few cases, just enough to break it. A big one being Scout will start one-shotting unprotected light hulls with the normal damage.

 

We're you not wondering why they used such weird numbers? -18% normal damage on Scout. -34% critical damage on Scout. The 5% and 35% changes on LCR. 33% reduction of critical damage for status Railguns instead of 34 or 30%. 1,510 damage to complement the missing 10 from the 990 normal damage, which is happening more often. It's all there. They've been very meticulous with Railgun's numbers since the Booster rework.

 

You can also see it in the damage coefficients I posted earlier. Very precise and unnatural numbers.

Neither Sizzling field nor Pulsar is  obtainable by any means currently, that is probably why it wasn't mentioned in the patch notes yet.

It WILL be your problem when enough ppl leave the game and MatchMaker doesn't work at all.

You DO understand Matchmaker needs lots of players to function, right?

Remove the status effect removal ability from repair kits. Jammer and Armor Piercing augments for (where available) Tesla, Hammer, Smoky, Thunder, Striker, Rail, Magnum, Gauss, and Shaft have been significantly nerfed. For (where available) Fire, Freeze, Isida, Twins, Rico, and Vulcan -- it doesn't matter much because they deal damage very quickly, meaning they also apply status effects very quickly; using a repair kit to remove a status effect will likely result in you getting reapplied the status effect very soon after. 

You could argue that it's very valuable to have your enemy prematurely use their repair kit to clear their status effect -- which may result in you winning that particular battle, but that's not the intended purpose of the augment!

All hail EMP and Stun augments.

Thats why they were giving alot of AP augments in challenges, they're not going to remove what they have planned a long time ago.

shooting through just 1 tank does flipping ridiculous damage with hyperspace now

Jammer was not so strong but it still disable drone ability for such drone as booster and trickster etc, even if you use the repair, your bonus would not get back until you respawn or re-use the specific supply. 

But AP gets for real destroyed by this update. It is now the worst status while EMP is the best one now.

Did anyone else notice that a critical hit with rico ap applies the status effect? I don't remember seeing this change in the patch notes unless I missed it. This may potentially balance the repair kit update (not entirely, like with ap hammer).

You mean it applies AP on both bounced shots and critical hits or only on crits?

Check the recent V-Log, a new augment for Ricochet named as "Pulsar" is introduced which applies all the status effect on the critical shot of Rico.

Okay, but even after they are made available they don't show up in the patch notes. That's not justification.
