nice, i was on step 34 for move 34/89? I avoided the first asteroid, then the second one pulled me back -5, and got pulled back -5 again by the first asteroid...

my question to developers why did you made this? it gives frustration to get pulled back, all effort for nothing. Couldn't you just made one more checkpoint and no asteroid???

now i am on move 24 /89? I WAS 34.....

That's why I never ever really try to even get to later checkpoints of literally all of their 'minigames', they are literally all the same boring stuff, the free player is lucky to even get through half of it, and allthough those prizes look nice, that paywall is literally higher than Everest will ever be. I never really understood why they decided on putting these 'progress halting' fields, I too believe that from psychological perspective, it would be much better to have extra steps than being pushed back by so many freaking steps. Imagine tryharding to get those dozens of extra energies from goldboxes as a f2p, spending literally days and thousands of supplies to have all of that gone in a press of one button. Just shame. These games are certainly disappointing and discouraging.

At the same time, I think most f2p should have a realistic goal of getting to perhaps 3rd checkpoint at best, I think anything other requires a massive amount of time, collecting those energies in MM and/or massive luck with your rolls.

For you it may sound like scam, but tryhards will most likely catch enough to reach 4th checkpoint, and if some miracle happens during 3 upcoming weekends, it could theoretically be enough for 5th one.

Casual players, who only play a bit, should still be able to obtain some more energy from boxes and make it likely for them to reach legacy skins. (Or buy a bundle-two from shop...)

1 energy per gb is infeasible regardless. This is taking into account the inclusion of regular gb's and conts also being dropped which lessens the probability of energy boxes dropping. 5 energies per gb would've been practical and more enticing.

i was told that you have to reach "position 23 " . Easier to  understand that way  , since saying" checkpoint 3" for me it was 23 indeed  , for others  is meaning to get further til next checkp . Is reachable by playing all missions  and dailies,i will go there ( finished ALL SUPERMISSIONS AND DID NOT GET THERE lol ,waiting for daily).

I reiterate that they gave back  " in silent"  to some early bugger the 4th  module stuff leaving them with HUGE  advantage (more  likely  than even buyers  to reach 4th checkpoint  with crisis and Armadillo which are op  together with 4th  i guess ) so still HIGHLY UNFAIR i.m.o ;
they should just reset and give energy refund to them according to missions done  +dailies  , to make up for  the 2*0  energy they gave away  .  well once i got a free full m4 upgrade for a weirdbug  and lasted about 1 hour , so i think they could do ,guess is time labor they cant sort  out as they are prioritizing else .
Ironically i was busy opening the containers i spared from months before to read it land i 've thought it was normal for everyone to get some  so even did  missions before to check energy stuff ,lol -

nope, they got it back ( i don't name them cause i dont want to point single people i know , would be no fair either, all or nobody but i assure you some got it back ..) , but seeing is all "numb ear about "  i guess  how will end . I avoided the first 2 meteorite nodes but got pushed back on the last one. But I was able to go back to where I was and now I'm at one more move until I get the 4th slot. I'll get it after the server restart.

It's not feasible for you. I'm assuming that's their intention - checkpoint 4 is probably doable only by buying the remaining energy, or spending all day catching it in battles (there are possibly going to be more "ultra weekends" in the upcoming 3 weeks). Checkpoint 5 is most likely close to impossible even with catching energy, making it buyer-exclusive.

Your goal is to make it possible, if not easy to finish whole minigame for f2p. Tanki's goal is to make an event, where:

- free players have a reason to participate, get something for free (4th protection slot) - players keep playing

- small buyers (or non buyers who may possibly spend a little bit of money, if the reward is too big to pass on) who won't be able to reach legacy skins just from missions and boxes, may buy few bundles, just to finish it - tanki gets smaller amounts of money per player, but from more players.

- big buyers who really want those skins either have to spend insane amount of money to finish it instantly (actually, they can't even do that, because you can only buy 1 bundle per day lol). or pay only about half of that if they finish all missions too - tanki gets a lot of money per player, but from less players

If tanki gave 5x more energy per box (and assuming we'll have a "x20" gold weekend during all of next 3 weekends), finishing whole minigame would become so easy.

Energy drop rate is around 6-10 per hour, for a battle of 20 players. Let's assume on average you are going catch 0.5 energy per hour, if you try a little bit. If you were to play a lot, let's say 6 hours per day (well, depends what's "a lot" for you...), so in 3 days it's 9 energy. If each was 5 per box, it would become 45. With 4 weekends that's 180 energy. And that is average player, who just plays a lot. There are however players who play more and can catch more than 0.5 per hour, and even in this e-sport gamemode (no equipment advantage), because they are actually better. For example playing for 12 hours, and catching 2 energies per hour makes 72 in 3 days. That would be 360 energy, if each box gave 5. (1440 total for 4 weekends, which is enough to complete minigame from 0)

Remember this is e-sport mode where everyone gets same gear. If next events will be in regular modes, players with stronger equipment will be able to catch a lot more energy boxes.

If minigame was so easy to complete, there would be no reason for people to spend money, which counters the initial goal - make money.

This edition of minigame is executed much better than last one. I still dislike the random aspect, but it's at least limited to a certain point (you won't be rolling -2 forever, there is only a fixed number of meteorites and you can only hit each once). I personally don't like special missions, but it is what it is, and it's certainly more balanced for average players than last time. I also don't like adding pulsar to 4th tier, but I can't change that, the game is making money by selling items. At least it's only a skin in 5th checkpoint.

I know 3 people who originally had a lot of bugged energy at start of event, completed it, had their accounts locked, and were able to keep the 4th step prizes.  (All of them already owned Crisis & Armadillo.)  I think it was compensation for Tanki messing up the equipment removal and locking their accounts a couple days with a negative TK balance.

Yes but lost the nuclear energy from the 1st checkpoint
