Why is there so many people in the game who don't/can't turn their turrets?

It seems like the majority of all players I see doesn't turn their turrets when they play. Does anyone know why?

That might be because of the exp boost, i remember in 2013, i started turning my turret at warrant officer ranks.

If warrant officers have 150k exp, with x4 and x8 on week end, we can say its x6 exp average. Thats only if they dont have premium, its even worse if they have it.

6X 150= 900k exp if there was like me.

This is the golden question of TO. Players not turning their turret since 2009. Who knows why?

Two hand coordination is too hard for some people I guess, they'll probably grow up to drive automatic cars...

Maybe I’m not paying enough attention, but I very rarely see players not turning their turret.
I am noticing a huge disparity in GS. It seems more than ever so many people have 9999gs, but on the flip side so many with 4k or 5k with only 1 or 2 protection slots. Not good for game balance but guess it’s an indication that the game is still getting new players.

There's also the fact that there is less need to turn turrets if you have consistent burst damage at your disposal. So many things are turning into burst damage options. The prime augment for these kind of players was Plasma Torch, and while it had sickeningly high burst damage, it was limited in its long reload. Well now, it has infinite ammo, and now, Beserk has been turned into another burst damage augment, and now, Helios has arrived, as if its purpose was not blatant enough. Firebird's gimmick couldn't keep up with Isida's increased DPS. Freeze's forced high critical damage with the ability to cancel damage enhancers and Tesla's existence, so they changed it into a burst damage turret. Smoky gets a considerably faster firing rate. Striker still has its easy to use augments with high critical damage and Stun Striker turning into an MLH clone. EMP and AP augments being made more common every day and new ones being made.

Who knows what's going to get changed into burst damage next. Probably Isida with the way they unnecessarily halved its maximum critical chance from 12% to 7%.
