Patch Update #687 - Released 20th May 2022

 

  • A new augment for Ricochet has been added to Ultra Containers — «Tectonic field».

    • (Note) This is an improved version of the «Destabilized plasma» augment. It applies the «Stun» status effect for 1 second on a critical hit.

  • A new shot effect for Ricochet has been added — «Blaster»

  • The number of points a player gets for assisting in destroying an opponent in MM battles has been increased from 5 to 7

  • Smoky

    • «Incendiary rounds» augment

      • Increases target’s temperature by 30% instead of 50%;

      • No longer decreases critical damage;

    • «EMP Rounds» augment 

      • No longer decreases critical damage;

    • «Paralyzing Rounds» augment

      • No longer decreases critical damage;

    • «Armor-piercing rounds» augment

      • No longer decreases critical damage;

  • Magnum

    • «Harpoon» augment

      • Increase of maximum shell speed is now 50% instead of 100%;

      • Fixed turret elevation increased from 0 to 1 deg.;

      • Decreased the radius of all explosions from 75% to 60%;

      • Charge duration decreased by 50%;

      • Reload duration increased by 40%;

  • Gauss

    • «Electromagnetic salvo» augment

      • The «EMP» status effect’s duration decreased from 3 to 2 s.;

      • Sniping mode reload duration increase removed;

    • «Armor-Piercing Salvo» augment

      • The «Armor-piercing» status effect’s duration increased from 3 to 5 s.;

      • Sniping mode reload duration increase removed;

  • Hornet

    • Overdrive now applies the «Armor-piercing» status effect even to those targets that the Hornet doesn’t see in radius of 60 metres;

    • Overdrive now applies the «Armor-piercing» status effect for 3 seconds instead of 5;

    • Overdrive now applies the «Jammer» status effect to all targets in radius of 60 metres for 7 seconds;

  • Ares

    • Overdrive ball’s speed increased from 12 to 25 m/s;

    • Fixed the bug that caused damage/healing radius to be just 5 metres instead of 20;

    • The minimal distance between two overdrive balls to cause them to self-destruct is decreased from 20 to 10 metres

    • Overdrive ball’s damage/healing is decreased from 500 to 300 HP per tick;

  • Camper

    • Additional boosted damage power increased from 30-60% to 50%-100%

    • Additional boosted armour power increased from 30%-90% to 100%-200%

nice with smoky, however there is yet another bug which deals 1k damage on the "sorted ammunition" augment. 
lets tackle this bug soon

Slow, then fast, then slower, then slow, now fast again. Make up your mind already :xd:

Tbh I don't the reason for making it so fast. People will still dodge it, while if you shoot it at a nearby enemy, they won't take enough damage to die. It was much more fun (and mostly balanced) when you could shoot the ball and follow it to get super healing.

Patch notes started to be boring, just a new repetitive augments or some amends to some augments.  Eventhough, the score changing for kill assisting is a very good thing.

Hornet od buffed again, devs are bringing back it to meta atleast for now.

Also camper is now a monster with old booster and defender stats. A person camping with titan +ap immunity might become quite hard to destroy now.

Can you please send a video of this? Or a series of screenshots of it happening?

And no removal of the chance step penalty of Paralyzing Rounds but other status Smokies get their higher crit rates? Why?

So the developers are going to encourage heavy camping now? Welp time to see more camping shafts and magnums. Great just great ?

Nah, Camper is still laughably bad, especially after last update where they made Magnum’s splash radius huge.

A Camper drone user won’t be able to hide from a semi-decent Magnum.

Camper is still a meme, all you need is to just sneeze on an enemy to remove the effect x'D

But to me personally i enjoy players that bring it, makes my Isida more meme worthy, especially when someone is using it to attack rather than defend

Oh and by the way. Focus on patching your rigged ultra and normal  containers drop rates instead. I have done almost every if not every ultra container event since the “new and enhanced” drop rates have been announced and never got anything past epic. I am sure majority of players have done likewise and had the same “luck” while opening the scamtainers.

Fix your blatantly rigged container rewards system first.

While I have received some legendary items, basically all of them were paints. UC's are not that bad because at least you get 3k crystals or something, but normal containers are very boring to open, to the point it almost feels not worth the time spent opening them...

I don’t know mate. Since I spent all my tankoins on BP I really don’t feel an urge to play daily anymore. Ultra weekends have become frustrating  again since they reintroduced “spend certain amount of supplies which are abnormally high” and that’s why it requires a lot of time to complete these missions only to get utter rubbish. Last weekend took me more time  to finish than I would like to admit because of stupid spend repair kit mission.

Thank you. That augment embodies all that is toxic about Magnum (shooting in your face at point blank, no aiming required) and I'm honestly really happy to see it nerfed. With those changes to Camper, it might be worth using now despite how difficult it can be to remain undamaged. The buff to AP and nerf to EMP Gauss are both welcome, but can you pleaase just make AP "immune" to the repair kit like it used to be? 'Cause even with these changes, I'll still opt for EMP with my Gauss. Seriously, that status effect grew weaker even than Freezing given the way it functions. I don't see anyone using AP as their first choice anymore; it's a last resort when the enemy brings immunity to EMP, Jammer, Stun or even Freezing. Literally the only valid reason to use AP immunity now is Paladin's aura. A new shot effect sounds great. Can we have something for Tesla though, please? Surely, it is possible to add color to it's zaps and balls.

it's sad that burning duration is decrease, i hope it won't make it weaker

it's not even worth buying them. idk why touching consumables and crystals but it's now too hard to stockpile 300k
