Was it ever explained what causes the no-damage bug when entering battles?

Question

It's really frustrating having an FPS-laggy experience, joining a battle after almost two minutes, only to not be able to deal damage and have to take 2-3 minutes to get back into the battle. Was it explained what causes it and what remedy is has besides clearing cache?

It's basically caused due to the errors in the connection between the player and servers, sometimes the ping lags makes the player unable to deal damage. The same happens when a player has a low-end system, the system is not fast enough to join the map, takes time to load, and at the same time due to discrepancies you often face the No-damage bug when you actually load in the map.

Best solution is to clear the data from time to time, have a good internet around as well as a fast system.

I believe someone once mentioned that it's most likely a server/connection issue. Therefore there's not much that can be done from the player's side.

P.S. I do remember this distinctly but unfortunately I don't have a source

Now this lag happens rarely for me.  I'm always thinking that there may be a simple solution that the game do a small refreshing to your turret every a while you don't shoot (you shoot in real but server don't know) instead of what you have to refresh the page completely.  Eventhough definitely developers have thought about my solution before or maybe it's even not viable.  But I always believe if I was a developer many bugs/lags I will fix it with simple algorithms, whether in tanki or softwares or OSs.

Ouch, I guess this might be my issue here.

Presumably low-end laptop.

The same, now the problem is that the rest solution will not work, even if you have a good internet, the problem is with the system itself.

The only fix is to improve the system somehow, by using a SSD or by getting a new system which can run Tanki properly.

Do you have any more doubts, or shall I close the topic ?

Do you know what the 2022 minimum requirements are for Tanki?

I was able to play in tanki flash version 2020 with 4GB RAM + Intel i3 4th gen + integrated graphics card + Hardisk, with 60 fps (Show skybox ON - Soft particles ON) Windows 10 with a youtube video playing in background.  Which wasn't the case for HTML5, I was able to play with high fps but the lobby was just incredibly laggy + no video in background.  I know my answer is far from your (2022) word?
