A regular shot  with no drone and  extra damage dealing only ~900 with no protection and armor for target, Previosly noticed it dealt around 960-1000.

Why would you buy Scorpion protection and upgrade it at a lower discount when there are barely any Scorpion users out there? Seems dumb.

The number of scorpion users have started to increase, since more and more number of buyers or even causal players are getting lucky in the openings.

I am seeing the rise in number myself, in the  everyday MM battles. Hence, scorpion prot is a must now.

I am doing fine without it. It is still at max 1scorpion user per map, so I would not equip it anyway. The salvo hit is a certain death in any case and I can do without protection against the arcade shots.

It is preparation for when it gets released for crystals, and also protection against the Crisis users littered throughout the day. They thrive with Crisis because no one can stop them from dealing 3,000+ damage per arcade shot, or 13,000 full damage per salvo.

They won't. They did say it's just an early access phase that will last throughout summer.

That's almost expected, once it's released for the large playerbase through crystals, they might nerf it to adjust it according to the balance. It's buffed now, to make it fair for the players that are spending money to get it from Ultra containers.

I'm talking about after they release it for the players, I think they discussed releasing it after a while, because after all it's not an augment but a general TURRET.

Till that point, they can buff it even more, just for the sake of making UC more worthwhile.
