Dead tanks should have no weight

Recommended Posts

The reason behind this idea is to help mammoths overdrive. When ramming into tanks, mammoths overdrive destroys it easily within a seconds. Seen by the explosion, the tank should have lost most of its weight ideally. However, I have noticed that the "weight" remains there until the dead tank disappears and prevents me from moving forwards and ramming into others which I possibly could have if I were not blocked. Heavyweight makes this worse. So I'd suggest to remove weight when a tank dies making them easier to push.

Under review

I could see a part of the weight removed as doable solution, but I am still not sure if it is a reasonable idea at all.

I don´t think mammoth´s OD is lacking in power or effectivity as it is right now.

Also, if we were to be ´´realistic´´ the destroyed tanks would create a completely unmovable scrapyard as they, well, would not dissapear at all...

As I remember destroyed tanks had infinity weight in the past, but maybe I'm delusional.  Eventhough nice idea, I think developers did it intentionally for balance purpose. But I think it's better if they made them with no weight as you suggest, not for mammoth because it's already strong.

And the player will respawn after that?

Dead tanks should stay as unmovable scrapyard so it can be used as a strat to stop people. even though probably 10 people in the entire game are smart enough to think of this.

Its when Mammoth has its OD mammoth should receive infinite pushing power, simple as that.

I support the idea, many times while capping or pulling the flag, it's either some afk teammate or a dead tank that slows my momentum down. What could have been a good capture turns into a draw once again.

one good idea might be improving the game physics or adding this feature
once the tank is rammed by the mammoth's OD, it will be sent flying  away from its track so that there wont be any obstructions
overall this is good idea!!

I think Mammoth OD needs a rework in general. Its literal only use is clearing mines. In terms of defending, let's be honest, any other Hull can do the job.

i swear to god idk why dead tanks have heavyweight, my tm died and he dropped the flag, his tank was on the enemy flag and i couldnt take the flag because of his weight, its difficult to push him

If mamoth od pushes tank. That is good but what about wasp od? If wasp plant a bomb the tanks whose died with it thier tanks should be blasted into sky. This can also make Sense.
