The PC game client has been updated to version 2.0.0. This means that it will become even more pleasant to spend time in the game.

 

The most notable changes are: 

• A fix of some visual bugs in the Garage

• Fixes of other minor bugs

• A working option to log in with your Google account

• A way to link your Twitch profile (this option was previously only available to those who played on the browser version)

 

You will need to download the new version from our website. 

 

This process is simple: 

• Uninstall the old version

• Download the new .exe file using the «Download» button

• Run the new .exe file and install the new version of the game client

 

Just a minute of your time, and you will have the new version installed, featuring the updated game logo.

there is a tiny bug and that is the client closes sometimes and I have to log in inputting my account user and pass again and also change settings and key-bindings everytime. In short, It does not save pass and settings.

Sort of annoying but it puts keyboard and mouse....   have to go into settings options... keyboard only.

So, this new client is another validation of the incompetence of the tanki developers.

1. When entering e battle, instead of the battle map, I get a bank grey screen and I have to exit and log in back again.

2. Same things happens 9 out 10 times when I return to the battle from the garage because I had to change equipment. 3. Ping fluctuates wildly and so do FPS. Mind you I have a 350 Mbps connection and I play other games without these issues.

3. Mouse control seems very laggy and it makes it difficult to play. 

It seems, as usual, that this client has not been tested just like every other update.  We try to be civilized but you continue to screw this game. Then we call you clowns and you take offense and you ban us! Oh, well. the facts remain facts no matter how and for how long you ban us. YOU are incompetent and there is no other way of expressing it. Take as much offense as you want, calling you names is justified because instead of fixing bugs you make them worse.

there is a new bug that is making the game unplayable. if i change equipment in the garage during a game i can not aim the turret it stays fixed in one direction. this renders hover hulls useless. the only fix i have found for this is to close the server and re enter the game..... any one else having this same issue?

update to this issue..... if i go into settings and turn off the mouse  this problem goes away.

I got this same issue on Google Chrome. Like Roybus said, you have to turn off mouse controls. Otherwise, you could enter mouse mode then exit again, but that must be done every time you encounter the issue. Faster to just turn off mouse controls in settings.

After reading all those comments, i think I'll pass and stick to the old client until 2.0.0 is stable

Me too. I was using the old client and I did not have these issues. I also notices that it takes a heck of a lot of CPU resources 35-40% and it does not take advantage of my NVIDIA GPU. As a result, the response is laggy and I did not have that many lag issues before except on large maps where ping and FPS vary wildly. Now I have lag issues even when the FPS and Ping are in the green. Another example of poor programming and a deployment not so well thought out! I think they should let us go back to the old client.  Also, using a chrome browser or the client just now, when i enter a battle, I started getting Exception errors and it asking me to   RESTART. I do and I keep getting the same error message. It seems that this game is on it's last leg since I was in a 2 jug battles 2 vs 7 and 3 vs 7! talk about unplayable!

Great to know I can no longer play tanki due to their new client that doesn't even work lol. These developers are so pathetic thinking their new version of the game will fix everything. How can it be better if you cannot even play the game? That's what I'm wondering. This is why tanki and the developers SUCK at their job.

Same, I can't even play and do the daily missions. Perhaps the client is ok, just the server maybe got hacked or is down. Wish they let us know what is going on

tonight. It ran smoothly over the weekend, atleast got the missions done. Oh well they are trying their best, good luck with it, thanks.

Yes...it's been 4 or so hours and can't get into a battle... I did load up and enter the garage however. But when entering a battle it seems fine, then voila the "restart" button pops up. Very disappointing.

Using Chrome on a Mac - the game is not loading at all.
