Patch Update #705 - Released 28th October 2022

 

  • Some rare skins have been added to Ultra Containers — Wasp Demonic and Firebird Demonic 

  • Fixed the tank controls bug; if you have only «Keyboard» in Settings, your mouse won’t be active

  • You can no longer unequip drones

    • (Note) If you want to save batteries, equip the «Brutus» drone

  • To get access to the following supplies, you need to have a drone equipped: «Boosted Armor», «Boosted Damage», and «Speed boost».

  • Hammer

    • Recoil per shot decreased from 1.5 - 2.4 to 1 - 2

    • «Duplet» augment

      • Removed the increase of horizontal scatter angle

    • «Adaptive reload» augment

      • The increase of clip reload time changed from +10% to +25%

    • «Dragon's Breath» 

      • Legendary augment now, no longer available for crystals and is added to the «Legendary» category of containers

      • If the last shot in a clip hits an enemy, it raises their temperature by +0.4

      • If the last shot in a clip is critical and hits an enemy, it raises their temperature by +1

    • «Magnetic Pellets» augment

      • Critical shots apply the «EMP» status effect for 1 second 

      • Last shot in a clip applies the «EMP» status effect for 2 seconds 

      • Last shot in a clip, if critical, applies the «EMP» status effect for 3 seconds 

    • «Stunning Pellets» augment

      • Critical shots apply the «Stun» status effect for 0.8 seconds 

      • Last shot in a clip applies the «Stun» status effect for 1 second 

      • Last shot in a clip, if critical, applies the «Stun» status effect for 1.5 seconds 

    •  «Armor-Piercing Shot» augment 

      • Critical shots apply the «Armor-Piercing» status effect for 3 seconds 

      • Last shot in a clip applies the «Armor-Piercing» status effect for 5 seconds 

      • Last shot in a clip, if critical, applies the «Armor-Piercing» status effect for 9 seconds 

    • «Blunderbuss» augment

      • Changed Critical damage increase from +70% to +100% 

      • Added a decrease of max and min damage ranges by 50%

  • Twins

    • «Vaporizer» augment

      • Duration of the «Burning» status effect decreased from 5 to 4 seconds

      • Removed the decrease to projectile speed

      • Removed the decrease to critical damage

    • «Cryotron» augment

      • Critical hits decrease the target's temperature by -1.0 instead of -0.5

      • Removed the increase to minimum damage range

    • «Magnetron» augment

      • Duration of the «EMP» status effect decreased from 2 to 1 second

      • Removed the increase to minimum damage range

      • Removed the decrease to critical damage

    • «Tectonic Plasma»

      • Removed the decrease to projectile speed

    • «Plasma Injector» augment

      • Duration of the «Armor-Piercing» status effect increased from 1 to 1.5 seconds

      • No longer removes Splash damage

      • Removed the increase to projectile speed

    • «Plasma Disruptor» augment

      • Removed the increase to projectile speed

      • Removed the increase to minimum damage range

      • Removed the decrease to reload time

  • Viking

    • Overdrive duration increased from 7 to 8 seconds

  • Removed the daily mission to win X battles

  • The number of stars you get for completing a weekly mission decreased to 100

  • The daily mission to finish X battles now requires one less battle to finish: 2-3-4 battles instead of 3-4-5 battles

  • PRO battles

    • Fund growth ratio in PRO battles at low ranks increased up to 3 times

      • (Note) For players with the «Legend» rank, the fund growth rate wasn’t changed

    • Daily limit of crystals decreased to 15 000

    • Daily limit of crystals for players with «Premium Pass» decreased to 66 000

    • Daily limit of experience decreased to 10 000

    • Daily limit of experience for players with «Premium Pass» decreased to 22 000

  • The following augments for the «Twins» turret have been added to Containers: «Tectonic Plasma», «Plasma Injector», «Plasma Disruptor», and «Plasma Turbo Accelerators»

Sad to see this happening. Another layer of uncertainty for players.

It's wild that it took almost a year for this to happen. Now I wonder how long it will take Thunder's garage augments to be playable again. I give it 3 more months of suffering.

Weird, I can no think of a situation when someone would unequip a drone, but it seems somehow limits the freedom.  Anyway a minor update, but I think you preparing for a surprise in next updates?

Oh... seems like Duplet will be stronger now. It will likely be stronger in 1v1s, but less potent against a group when a critical shot is hit.

Amazing buff that puts it up there with its twin Wyvern's Breath. It seems that they really took someone's suggestion on the forum to make it legendary!

Interesting changes to status Hammers, I'm interested in seeing how this changes EMP Hammer. Even though critical effect is shorter now, at least I won't feel like my critical hit was "wasted" if it is on the last shot.

I thought it was already nerfed to 1 second? Perhaps I don't pay attention well enough in battles. Good that they are decreasing the range, and I'm not sure how much of a big difference the critical damage will make anyway.

I agree: while Brutus only costs 1000 crystals, it seems a bit wacky that they keep trying to force it on us. At the same time, this change would technically prevent accidentally unequipping a drone when you just wanted to change to another one mid-battle; this happened to me a couple times.

I'm personally glad to see the mechanics receive what appears to be a net buff. However, it's interesting that they'd put it in the legendary category, though I have seen this suggested in the forum before. I'm just relieved that I got it from a container while it was in the epic category.

Is it now? 10s freeze instead of 5s, original range with the buff was 75 meters, now with the recent turret buff and the augment's effect on the range removed, it is 60m. A minor range reduction in exchange for a longer debuff that is also more effective the more of it is applied (the lower the temperature, the stronger the slowdown effect). So, is this a net nerf? I wouldn't say so. 

And yeah, I think that Magnetron was already at 1s too, so all this really changes is the same minor range reduction along with the removal of crit damage penalty.

I was referring to only the range nerf. You are definitely right in saying it is a net buff, but I always thought the increase in range was rather unnecessary.

Yes it's currently 1 second. Sometimes patch notes say the darnedest things, don't they? The removal of the extra range should have been done from the start. It became egregious with the recent buff because more range makes it scale better towards weak damage. Add in EMP to weaken tanks and it just became too potent compared to the other Twins augments, not like it wasn't already. It's still gonna be powerful but the gap between it and the other status augments will finally be smaller.

It creates another barrier between old and new players. Ever since 2020 the game has been becoming increasingly frustrating for new players and 2021 shot it out of the park. It's no longer worth making a new account to play on and now people who didn't have the augment won't have it for sale anymore. It's not a good look that any random augment can suddenly be bumped up to Legendary without you being able to purchase it again. Maybe the contracts system and the upcoming showcase overhaul will rectify that but it doesn't sting any less right now.

Just give every a brutus 0/20 drone, just 1000 crystal.

People dont buy drone wont know how to buy a drone anyway, instead pulishing their stupidness by disable their supply, just give them a free base level brutus drone.

 

Crystal status effect augment for hammer now container only. Okok

How about burn smoky and cold smoky that still available in crystal? Why leave smoky burn and cold augment them for free player a choice.

 

Anyway all crystal augment is useless nowadays and waste of crystal, their only use is to fill up container and make it hard to get immu hull augment in epic level. (I bought all crystal augment anyway long time ago to increase chance of hull augment anyway, so i dont care)

 

I just bought battle pass for twins long shooting jam augment, now nerf itz range, at least you make other slow twins augment like burn one normal shoot speed now. Twins ball already slow, even slower augment is totally not fun unlesz you sit on flag when enemy come to you like heavy plasma augment

For aesthetic reasons you can hide your own drone via settings. It will still be visible to others though, if they have the setting to show drones enabled.

Attention tankers, now you have to complete ALL your missions, whether weekly or daily EVERY SINGLE DAY if you want to complete the challenge.

 

1 day = 50 stars x 3 daily missions = 150 stars

1 weekly mission = 100 stars

 

16 days of daily missions: 150 x 16    = 2,400 stars

3 weekly missions × 100 stars each = 600 stars

Total amountbof stars obtained        = 3,000 stars

There are 30-31 days in a month. A challenge will be lasting usually 15 days. Players will need to complete a few special missions to complete the challenge if they cannot make the extra stars from battles.

that's the problem they are hard and give decent amount of stars 

so i'll miss the old 450 stars ? (it's much better than 300)

Not exactly. Since every weekend has its missions with stars, you can obtain them that way as well.

So old weekly, you get 100+150+200= 450 star, now 100x3=300 stars

You need to earn 150 star extra per week, so 150÷7= 22 stars per day.

Imagine 3 star per battle, you need to do at least 8 battles
